Keep in mind that the TSA has rules limiting the amount of liquids you can have in you carry-on. No containers bigger than 100ml and no more of them than will fit in a qt. sized ziplock baggie.
I’ve never exceeded that, but with TSA precheck, they’ve never even pulled it out to look

    Seems Washington is joining you.
It looks like they are going to stay on Daylight Savings Time.
No more changing the clock after this year.
I think unless everyone does it .. it's going to get quite confusing when traveling.

I just always trust my phone when it comes to the time. Guessing that will only become more important as more states adopt daylight savings all year long.

It burns off the anti corrosion layer and gives a bad smell & taste. It's in this thread- Temp Control has kicked my bum. No mas. Done with it
One persons opinion. I always dry burn my. coils including SS (never titanium)and while they may have some pretty colors come out i have never had bad smell OR taste off or bad . If he got the coils red hot glowing he may have scorched the grommet. Glowing red hot is usually not necessary.

There are a lot of threads on it, I just happened to pick that one, then there is this article, he says don't dry burn any coil because of the stuff that coats the wire. So I don't do it anymore. If I can't clean off the gunk, I replace the coil :) https://www.vapingpost.com/2016/03/08/a-chemists-advice-dont-dry-burn-your-coil/

The only worrisome thing about the older iSticks is how long they've been on the shelf. Makes me wonder how much battery drain there has been.

According to a vendor that I've had order more authentic Eleaf 30W iSticks for me, from her supplier in China...they're still making the 30W ones. So if you buy from a vendor that has a pretty good turnover of product...you'll likely get brand new ones, not very old stock. By the way...I have some older 10W, 20W, and 30W ones that are 3+ years old and still going strong.

I know that Rocky Mountain Vapor got in a supply of them in the last month or so. Someone I'm helping get stocked up had to wait for him to get an order of them from China, to get the 4 she bought from him. Lots of clones have been sold on eBay, but RMV and other vendors mentioned carry authentic ones.

Don't want to signup yet - If Ya' don't mind, how much where the coils there ?

KangerWholesale has been out of all their regular Zenith coils for some time now, and the last I checked on Sunday. Their CS people have told me they don't know if/when they'll get any more of them. They mentioned something about Innokin possibly coming up with another new coil to use in the Zeniths and other tanks that take the same coils.

I have mostly used titanium coils since i started vaping. One in a while i will venture out using another coil but not often. Since you dont dry burn titanium i guess i have not kept up with the latest greatest. All of the build u tube geeks always seem to dry burn their coils so i just learned from them. I have fallen into the habit of quick rinsing a new coil to get off any machine oil that may be there.

They already have; it's a 1.2Ω head that supposedly is a dual coil configuration, but the only two places that carry them want 12+ and 14+ bucks for a 5-pack, so I'll pass for now. It's being discussed in the Zenith thread. ;)

I heard isticks are long lasting, was thinking of getting a few on sale :)

My innokin coolfire internal batt mod has lasted at least five years now.

I agree! Isticks and coolfires are the zombies of the vaping world. They never die! Neither do those old MVPs by Innokin.

I love my iStick 30 because it comes with a handy dandy lip that accommodates 23 mm toppers without overhang. :D It's 5 years old. I don't use it exclusively, but it's been in rotation forever. I think it's possessed.
Hmmm, maybe I should get another one. I love that thing. Black or blue? :thumb:

I tried dry burning my SS coils. After 2 or 3 dry burns, they start giving an off taste. And black stuff keeps coming off from the coil no matter how many times you dip it in water.
Now I dry burn them in TC mode. Won't glow, but will help clean the coil. I plan to do same with Ni200 and Ti which I ordered to try out. Can't see an issue if coil dry burned at same temps vaped at.

If TC is working properly, it shouldn't exceed the set temp. Isn't this the promise TC and how it prevents dry hits?

Yes, it is. But how do you know at what temperature bad things begin to happen to different wires (alloys)? AFAIK, nobody really studied it yet. They looked at e-juices misbehaving at 420-450° F (formaldehyde, acrolein, etc), but metals? Nope.

Anyway, I used to dry burn, heck, we used to torch the wires with big butane torches to clean them. Now I clean my wire with Isopropyl alcohol, wash/rinse/dry well and then make my coils. I do gently pulse my coils a couple of times when rewicking, then replace them. Wire is cheap and I like a fresh coil and a fresh wick.
