I'm have an issue with 1 order ... it was sent via 2 shipments. Shipment #2 was sent a few days after Shipment #1 and I got that one. Shipment #1 is MIA.

This is my ticket:

I received Shipment #2 (shipped 10/15/2019) of this order. But Shipment#1 (shipped 10/12/2019) seems to be missing. Can you provide information about what is happening with Shipment #1? I attached pictures of the only tracking information I have access to for it.

<attached pic> Your item has been processed through a facility in SHENZHEN EMS, CHINA at 4:18 pm on October 15, 2019.

FT's response:

So sorry for this problem to you, it seems that no tracking information (LW736640486CN)updated latest days, okay, we will submit enquiry to the post office to institute investigation for this item. Please be kindly wait some days.

We will update you for any feedback and refund or reship your order once the post office verifies your package as lost.

Please kindly note that registered postal mail doesn't provide definite delivery time and the transit time quoted in checkout is an average and typical time frame. We hope you will receive the order shortly.

If you have any questions further, please let us know freely.

Thank you for your understanding.

My Reply:

I'll wait 3 days, then expect you to have either located the package or re-send my order. If not I'll open a case with PayPal for items not received to charge back the payment to fasttech.

I think mine is a bit different, it appears to have gone through China twice:

I think it got sent back for some reason, and is now making it's way. I'll give it a bit longer and see if it moves.

I love good coffee and am a bit of a coffee snob. Doesn't work too well in this area where everyone thinks nothing is better than folgers or 8 oclock.

Well, in the last 8 years I've only ordered about a dozen time from FT and this is my first problem. When I opened the case/ticket I got a message it could take up to 84 hours (not a typo) before I hear back.

Is it expensive to start up? I love good coffee and am a bit of a coffee snob. Doesn't work too well in this area where everyone thinks nothing is better than folgers or 8 oclock.
A couple hundred dollars to start up. A small air roaster and halfway decent grinder. I also made my own cooler (a small box fan blowing into a colander with the beans), though the cooling cycle in the roaster is okay.

Not much space is needed. I roast on a tray sitting on one of those little chair/side table combinations.

Good ventilation is important. I have a decent ceiling exhaust fan (built that room just before I stopped smoking [emoji3]), and I have a small fan in a window behind the roaster.

I store roasted beans in little 9 oz mason jars, it turns out they're perfect for the amount of beans in each set on the roaster.

The actual coffee cost has been trivial. I use Bodhi Leaf out of CA, that has a weekly special, buy a 5lb bag when something catches my eye. Unroasted (green) beans cost about a quarter what you pay for the same bean roasted.

If you use the 17track app, you can often get a bit more info by clicking on the little translate symbol in the lower right. Here's my FT armor prime info, the translation block tells me it's gone to the airport.

I had one do the same back in September.I had 3 packages all ship within a week, but the first to ship was the last received.I got the last 2 in less than 2 weeks, but #1 took a month, tracking looked just like yours,i assume it was returned and resent, could be it just got buried in China post then they found it and started it over, who knows,i did eventually get it though.

Any squonker that requires a "refill bottle" is (IMO) a poorly designed sqounker. A well designed squonker makes it east to get to the bottle. January 2014:

I don't want to remove a bottle to fill so I like the fill tools a lot. To each their own.
I agree. I think fill tools are awesome.

I wouldn't worry too much, you will get your stuff... unless due to the online e-cig sales ban thing and China shuts them down, which people have said is unlikely. And it usually takes them a couple of days to respond, they are slow when it comes to their ticket system. I am currently working on an exchange from a DOA item and their service is almost as slow as their shipping. lmao

I've had good results with Fasttech. Lucky, I guess. If it's in stock in the U.S. for a reasonable price I order from USA vendors. Fasttech is one of those China vendors that take a few days to update the order information, but once it's shipped it gets to Georgia in a few days.

So you'd rather remove your atty?
Yeah. Although I suppose it might affect the longevity of the 510 connector (working it loose, threads, etc)... But I just think a fill tool is more efficient, especially on the go, vs fumbling with pulling off a door and disconnecting the bottle and then filling, especially if on a long distance road trip trying to juggle the mod and the steering wheel while doing it. With a fill tool I can do it all with one hand, removing the atty into my lap and using my pinky and ring finger to hold the mod as my thumb and pointer finger squeeze the fill bottle. lol

EDIT: I probably would not use it on my Wotofo Stentorian Ram Resin Squonk Mech Mod, out of fear that the 510 connector would eventually get loose. I have had that happen with resin mods before... and there really is no fixing that.

I do prefer pulling the rda. I find it a quick and relatively clean way to refill.

I like to use fairly soft squonk bottles, which .... up right against the battery. I'd have to pull both battery and bottle to get the bottle back in cleanly.

I'm not worried about wear and tear on either the rda or mod 510 connectors, since I use ego/510 adapters. The adapter stays in the mod, no wear on that side. The female (rda) side of the adapter does wear out over time, but I get a lot of use before needing to replace an adapter. I've never run into wear problems on the rda male threads - they're a tougher material than the adapter threads.

For squonking you need the adapters with the hole through the center (back in the day they were for the automatic batteries). I recently ordered 3 5-packs from FT for under $10 delivered.

On FT shipping, once I see something has been delivered to air transport, I consistently see it at our house 10 days later. A handful of days in transit and clearing customs, then another handful going via usps.

duh... I am an idiot, mine will not work.. lmao

EDIT: The really funny part was a couple weeks ago someone suggested using a DOVPO Safe Link on a mech squonk because someone was worried about safety and I thought to myself "How could they not realize that would not work??" lol

Yep, I remove attys all the time with no problem. Better than messing with the bottles. In fact just took the Luna bottle out and the tubing came out. Took me forever to get it situated again.
