Are you done stocking up?

Somewhere out there
I started vaping in 2009, really crapy little cig a likes in 3 part units, then came Cartos. These will not see me thru long term. I never modded or rebuilt coils, my basic stash was one Provari, 2 GLV's some dedicated batts, Cartos and clearo's. So for me I had to stock up or give up vaping when the supplies ran out. Now I am set for long term and yes I had a blast stocking up and zero buyers remorse here. I would do it all over again.

I am expecting a PIF package today or tomorrow from a friend who is recovering from a severe case of shinyitis. He thinned out his herd. I have no idea what is in it, other than a couple of kayfuns.

Once I have that, I probably will have no need to buy anything other than wick and vg/pg. Yes, I stocked up on wire.

I'm not stock piling anything. I might buy another extra DNA200 device just in case things get too hot for a short time and my Reuleaux fails, however I can't even tell you how many devices I have already.

Personally i think this hysteria is crazy. I've been vaping since 2008 and am a heavy nic liquid user (24mg) so I don't have to vape as often and can get away with it in my office. However since going through the crazy coil building phase and moving to tanks like the herakles plus that can deliver nearly as much vapor and flavor, I have absolutely no desire to invest the time or money into this anymore. Yes, I've got a ton of coil packs and a ton of devices and supplies already. If things fail, I'm just going back to dripping into a Derringer with Kanthal and cotton on a mech. I really don't think going to have any problem getting my boutique/high-end juice shipped to me, and there's no way I'm going to sit there on my time off with a rubber apron and gloves mixing raw nicotine.

Everyone's acting like the sky is falling and maybe it will fall for the masses. However this might be the best thing to happen to vaping. We're going back to good old days when there weren't thousands of videos posted on youtube by idiots trying to breathe fire. That's what ruined this all in the first place. Nothing was blowing up in anyone's face 6 or 7 years ago. If I can't get my juice and have to quit, I'll quit. There's just no way I'm going to spend thousands of dollars building a stock pile and turn this into something so time consuming that it runs my life. Even if you freeze the Nic juice and other materials, they won't last forever. All these stockpile threads are just insanity in my opinion. You're either going to run out of everything anyway or you're going to end up having wasted a ton of $ on outdated and overprice crap (i.e. - "I have 11 Provaris") that you never use.

I am stockpiling simply because I don't have many devices. I've only been vaping for a bit over a year and when the regulations hit I only had two setups one of the which was an iStick 30w and a subtank nano where I had to rebuild stock coils.

Though I still think my stockpiling is on the lower side of things, I'm only shooting for 5 sets of devices with removable batteries, 5 rebuildable tanks (a mix of rba decks, rta's, and one RDA). Some extra parts and 1 liter of nic. If prices are the same when as when I first made my plan I'll only be spending $325. I also convinced my aunt who just started to spend about $150 for a few devices and some nic, but that's about it.

Even though I'm using no nic most of the time and low nic when I'm stressed, I don't trust myself to quit yet, so I've planned for 5 years. If I decide to quit before then I will not feel bad about making the investment. I've certainly wasted more money on more frivolous things, and probably will again.

I'm waiting on my FT package which is do today! Ordering more nic, just to get it here by the 8th and I would like to get a kayfun but I'm kinda confused on all the diffrent versions, and what extras I need to go with them.
$9.87 Kayfun Lite Pawns Styled RTA Rebuildable Tank Atomizer (4ml) - 303 stainless steel + PC / 22mm dia. at FastTech - Worldwide Free Shipping looks to be the most economical KF with any positive reviews. Getting the extras should be simple once you play around with it a bit. Mostly tank upgrades.

I think for me,it's making sure I have enough nicotine and a good tank, since I'm still adjusting to being a non-smoker. Don't won't to go back to cancer sticks

Good to know! So what is a target ohm to build for a Reo on a 18490 batt? I have been looking at some charts to get familiar with safe ohm's per batt size, it seems Around 1.0 to 1.8 ???

You should be fine in that range. If you're not familiar with this site, bookmark it and study it. Loads of useful calculators on it. Steam Engine main page

Yes, it's cheapest one, but it has PC tank, I prefer glass. Also it is made of 303 SS, which have added sulfur for machinability, and it decreases somewhat corrosion resistance. Do not know if it is important, but anyway...

Just had to share...putting nic up in the freezer and ran out of room,so out comes the chicken and frozen hashbrowns... what to do... hashbrown casserole and chicken and cornbread dressing tonight!
Better to leave the food in, and put the nic in as you have room. Nic, on the short term, won't deteriorate, so long as it is protected from heat and light and air.

I have to cook supper anyway, so it's not a problem! Besides hubby loves chicken and dressing!

Me too. I put back some mods and attys that have never been fired just so I can have a vape mail day occasionally in the future.:D
If it ends up as bad as many believe, I may get blackout drunk every once in a while and mail myself some vape stuff just to get that excitement back. ;)

It's like regifting at Christmas!
But regifting to yourself!

Might just be easier to actually place the orders while hammered and just keep them wrapped.:)

Although last time I ordered anything online while inebriated, I ended up getting a new CD every month from Columbia House for years.

So what do you think, is it worth shrink wrapping some mods to keep them fresh?? Will it keep the connections cleaner so they don't corrode ? Reason I ask is because my old Provari has been setting around in a box for years, been using dedicated batts for convience, and the connections have corroded. How many are shrink wrapping with those keep dry packets?
