My parents had three dogs growing up but I've only actually had one of my own. She's passed now but she was the best dog. Pitbull/mastiff/boxer mix that looked like a weaponized wild beast named Bubbles.

She loved people SO much she wanted all of the attentions from everyone. Dogs... not so much but I was able to successfully keep her for 8 years without letting her kill one (she seriously would have). She was a rescue found in the wild during a huge blizzard trekking through snow by herself. I've always suspected she escaped a dog fighting ring.

I have her pawprint tattooed on my chest. Wasn't going to share a pic since she's gone now but awww what the heck, this is my favorite pic of her ever.

Such a cute picture! Reminds me of that photographer who takes pics of dogs catching treats.

Dogs are so pure. Thanks for sharing.
Unless they’re 110 pounds, asleep (and snoring) on your almost numb feet. I’d move them, but he’s WARM!!! Oddly, @markfm ... my maine .... is a almost dead on color match to Maggie. Fortunately, she doesn’t know she’s a cat. Himself calls her Catdog. How much exercise do your Aussies need, or do they just “exercise”each other? I’ve always thought of them as highly intelligent, highly active dogs. Just curious.

I have a 15lb Pomeranian male who manipulates the heck out of me. Has me totally wrapped around his paw. I choose to believe he is pure but everyone knows better. :D

We have a Chihuahua (/ weenie dog????) We have a very hard time getting her sweaters until today! We took a standard knit ski mask (like rob a bank),,, located the top seems & cut it so that the seem survived located forward not back on her neck,, her arms are through the eye holes

She is finally warm and happy,,, I mean seriously happy & proud of her new sweater. Without the sweater she digs until she is buried under a blanket on the couch.

I judge her temp by touching her ears,,, if they are cold she is cold,, her ears have been warm all night.

So now, I have to keep an eye out for cute ski caps,,, she is a fashionista!

We have tried so many dog sweaters,,, baby clothes nothing fit her right or covered her tummy without binding on her,, now she has knit moomoo type sweater - she is happy

We have a male dog that looks like yours. Always jumping in your lap for attention. If only he'd quit chewing up the baby toys that would be great. His name is Charlie.

The burrowing is the weenie half, I think. My daughter’s chewed a hole in the back sofa cushion and crawled into the stuffing. All you could see was her nose poking out of the polyfill. My mom makes her fleece “sweaters”. No hemming, just one seam to close it. She copied and adjusted off this store bought one that doesn’t quite fit

She was a stray dog someone picked up at a school bus stop that the parents were kicking at her,, she weighed about 4 pounds, all boney,, very little hair,, no eyelashes... My husband went right to work on her diet,, the vet thought she was maybe 2 years old,,, she is very muscular now,, beautiful fur and 13 pounds.

I have noticed dogs that are rescued seem to appreciate you more,,, dogs born into a good home are more demanding/ selfish.

Lots & lots of exercise! If they have a pal to run and play with they will self exercise. My Aussies have all been OCD about something, but they are loyal, loveable and goofy. They always entertain LOL Definitely high energy :)

That explains the “problem” with mine.... he was born in my bedroom. Didn’t get his mom to the whelping box in time. He THINKS he’s the size of your pup lol

So cute! I have used sweatshirt sleeves to make small dog jackets, head goes thru the sleeve opening, cut two leg holes and cut length to fit.
