Large, ferocious cat, looks like. lol
More like a 20lb sofa cushion. She adopted us after her owner passed. She was left alone in the house for a month before someone brought her to our vet. We brought her home from the vet’s the day we went to get our mama lab’s ashes. My 15 month old grandbaby climbs all over her. Doesn’t care. Very very not like a normal cat lol

stuck in a squishy pod called my brain
That explains the “problem” with mine.... he was born in my bedroom. Didn’t get his mom to the whelping box in time. He THINKS he’s the size of your pup lol
We have had big dogs and small dogs,, 1day I said every dog we have had,, seems to think its ok to sit & lay all over us,,,,, lets be honest,,, sit and lay all over me,,, its like they don't recognize size...... Later my husband pointed out that when they were little I was always cuddling and carrying them around,,,, so his theory is I spoiled them as babies. - suddenly it did make sense,,, I can't help myself :)

I know that feeling my dogs and cat climb all over me too LOL Daisy jumps straight up to kiss me on the nose, she has amazing kissing ninja qualities LOL She wants me to sit with her and tell her how beautiful she is as she tries to climb all over me Ha ha! Today while hubby was trimming my mini's hooves our cat had to lay on the back of my neck as I held Dare the mini to be trimmed. Daisy lays at the edge of the pen wanting all the attention too, it's a real circus sometimes LOL But I love them all :)

When I had the 3 poms,, my office chair was an antique leather wingback I called"the big .... chair" -- because only a person with a big .... or 3 poms could use it... All 3 had to sit with me all day every day,, Sassy actually rested on the back of my neck. We all knew everyone else moves,, so when I would go get another cup of coffee,, I didn't even consider them i just got up,, they slid into the cracks of the chair & would reposition as needed when I came back. This went on for 15 years!

Unless they’re 110 pounds, asleep (and snoring) on your almost numb feet. I’d move them, but he’s WARM!!! Oddly, @markfm ... my maine .... is a almost dead on color match to Maggie. Fortunately, she doesn’t know she’s a cat. Himself calls her Catdog. How much exercise do your Aussies need, or do they just “exercise”each other? I’ve always thought of them as highly intelligent, highly active dogs. Just curious.
My original Aussie, Heidi, was my running companion for years, and would go with me snowshoeing in the winter. Super smart, high energy, 85 lbs of muscle (that's big for an Aussie). Rangers at our local park were okay with me taking her off lead to do command work, could see that she was well trained (I always put her on lead when we were near people or other dogs, didn't want to abuse the privilege).

Sidney was ready for early retirement, a sweetheart.

Bear is high energy, but will run around the yard by himself if Maggie doesn't want to play.

Maggie is nowhere near Bear's size or energy level, but when she's in a playful mood she and Bear raise cain chasing each other [emoji3]

Our backyard is about 40' x 80', 5' fence, wooded outside the fenced area. I tacked on a 40 x 40 fenced garden area behind it - when the back gate is open, into the garden, they have a large play area.

How cool :) I think a fenced yard is a must for Aussie's, ours is fairly large area with 6 ft fence and Daisy does laps too. Our other dog Sadie is around 6 yrs old and although playful isn't into doing laps LOL She is the queen, half Border collie x traveling salesman, she likes to lounge on her bed looking regal and be fed treats LOL She is not as wacky as Daisy :)

I've enjoyed the parade of pet photos and stories today. They make things feel cozy even though it's 20 degrees outside. The older I get, the more cold wimpy I become.
Me too, it is around 30 degrees here but I dress like it's 30 below LOL!

The more I age, the more my joints swell. There are days that I find five clicks, on or off, are impossible in the cold. Hello winter, you bring clarity of thought, but damnit you keep some despicable company!
The answer is simple then. Never stop using it.

18 and windy here this morning! Brrrrrrr! I think I'm going to hibernate inside today.
Believe it or not we went down to 24 here. For us that is COLD.

I generally love the cold being northern born but with both an injury and a head cold atm this is just painful.

In other news the saga of my cursed fasttech order continues. The replacement set of bottles THEY recommended when the set I originally ordered was discontinued is now discontinued. LOL Going to do the refund thing on the bottles and find something else in another order. This is getting nuts.
