Fellow PC enthusiast of sorts? My rig's pretty hefty as well. I went from a mediocre laptop to a beast of a PC and have been amazed at how many programs, tabs etc I can have going at once. Lots of fun
I used to build my own PCs. I got an ACER ROG gaming laptop about three years ago and it's been so great I haven't felt the need to build a new rig. Kind of crazy, laptops have come a long way.
Hmm so maybe I don't need to make an o-ring order from fast tech. Probably will anyways just to have the right ones in the right colors. Going to take inventory of glass and o-rings tonight and probably make an FT purchase.
I don't know why you all get so worried about your China orders. There's no law currently in the books and government moves slower than a slow boat so there won't be a law before your order gets here. Plus... at least for me, these are all $20 orders that are non-essential.

For sure. I'm a huge desktop fan and love building PCs. It's a hobby of mine, especially in winter. But modern laptops can be really good.
I was up at 3 am feeding sick cat, then I went back to bed. It felt nice. Of course that meant sick cat missed 6 am meds. Oops! I am only human.
I'm going mainly by what's happening in other countries and what's happened here when vaping was last banned.
Granted, the U.S. ban didn't last a terribly long last time, but some stuff still got through from China back then - not everything and there was an immediate crackdown at customs, but crackdowns like that can't last forever, we simply don't have the manpower for it. Which is when packages begin to eek through..
Right now there are trade negotiations going on with China, and we'll have to see how those pan out, but I have a feeling at some point the odd coil, rta or mod will get in.. unless of course China and the U.S. work it all out - which I have some doubts about.
I think buying from E.U. countries, Canada or GB will come to an immediate halt, but China's always been a different story.. at least so far.
what's always been the problem thus far with vaping products between China and banned countries has been the end customs at import, and not China being unwilling to export.
Of course fingers crossed on that - but this is what it's been so far.

In two years, I have never torn a battery wrap. Now the 2nd one in a few days. At this rate, I figured I better order more wraps cause I only had a few and don't know where they are. So I just ordered 300 from FT. Kind of worries me that in the description, the size is different on every one of them. Geez

Keep in mind that we're not talking about a state ban, temporary or otherwise--no vendor in Asia or Europe can keep up with this crap or even be aware of it. This proposed bill is different. This will be the law of the land, just like the PACT Act, which has been in force for 9 years and isn't going anywhere anytime soon.

Are you still using 18650s in your Blade? I get my 21700 batteries in today, was hoping for a much better fit.

There was never a ban. Congress never banned e-cigs. The FDA started seizing shipments of e-cigs from China (in 2009) as illegal drug delivery devices, but Sottera v the FDA put an end to it.
Personally thinking of getting some ribbon to place under the batteries for the Blade for removal. I know it comes with a ribbon but getting it to fit under both is a pain.
okay, I thought those seizures was due to a ban.. I knew we had a court case over it..

yes, I have new 18650's coming caue they fit in many others and I don't want to have a bunch of other size batts.

Yeah I've only been at this 5 years and I find it tiresome.. I can't imagine how the old timers feel.
Unrelated yet related in a way, whenever I tell my husband I'm so sick of hearing about politics today and I just want to turn it OFF and vote how I'm going to vote anyway (regardless of what they say and do) he always tells me that's exactly what they want - they want everyone to shut down and shut off and then the politicians will start doing the really nasty stuff...
It's true for vaping too.. We have to keep speaking for those who come after us, and for that we have to know what to speak on.
Yes the wild vape ride has been littered with regulation land mines. We get comfy, then bam something pops up to spoil it. My plan is just be stocked so no matter what they do I am ready. I actually hate politics, so sick of it.
