I've used a coat hanger for a quick fix on way to repair shop LOL
In my old car I was driving down the road and smelled burning plastic. DUcked into a Midas I was passing to find out what was happening. He puts it up on the machine. Looks and says. Well I found the problem. Apparently I had run over an old plastic grocery bag that was blowing around in the wind. It wrapped around and melted on to the muffler.

My dad was a body man in the car business, I grew up in a garage. I remember holding bumpers while he attached them and bleeding brakes at 6 with wood blocks on the peddles, I was his helper LOL
I had a ‘80 Pinto and my tool kit was tie wire and side cutters to tie up the muffler, duct tape, because everything, and super glue to glue the gear shifter back in. Although tbh the gear shifter only came out that one time, when hubby was putting it in reverse. Super glue really does hold!

Not that my measly cash is anything for Mass to worry about but the state has hit my will not set one toe in for any reason list. The hubby and I were considering a vacation there to take a look around to scope it to see if it is worth hitting the research for retirement list. Its off the list permanently. If they can behave like this on vaping they can and will do it on other things.

Yes I know most people retire south. I plan to retire NORTH.

I recommend checking out my hometown of Newport, RI. Literally an island (Aquidneck Island) with tons of beaches and a good amount to do. Has a flavor ban in place, some bad government, and high taxes but great social support programs.

As for the NEED for a Receipt - I guess the one saving grace I have is that I save all the emails and "Print" a PDF document when I make a purchase online - doesn't matter what it is . . . Also keep emails when someone has been kind enough to send me something too . . . So I would think I'm covered . . . Just Sayin' . . .

I think you are one in a million! I thought I was good by keeping the original boxes.

YEP - Each and everyone, especially since if Ya' do NEED to send it back to the vendor or manufacturer, they want prof of the product . . . Jusy Sayin' . . .

The package that came today took me awhile to figure out where I got it. Obviously China via Netherlands but nothing else on the package or inside. I only vaguely remembered ordering them. Turns out it was backordered cube mini kits from a month ago. lol They are so cute but much smaller than I thought. Can't beat a kit for 6.99.

I am going to hate if we go to sig required on everything. I just saw the mail carrier on my porch and by the time I went out to get the package, there wasn't one and she was back in her car ready to leave. She brought the package to me because it required a signature. She said, I saw you get the dog in. Well, duh, she knew I was home but never knocked on the door, ugh.

Update, she just came back with another package. Said she couldn't make out if it was mine. It is clearly typed. What is going on? I asked her if she knocked before and she said no, she was going back to get the other package....which means she left it at another house.
We wont have to do that because come deeming there wont be anything to sign for!
