I thinks it's more of a doesn't want to bother than ability. I can't complain tho he can fix and make about anything :) So making a cup of tea compared to fixing the hot water tank, I'll take it!
My youngest (she's 24 now) was about 13 years old and one day I saw her in the kitchen with my daughter-in-law. My daughter-in-law was "teaching" her how to make a tuna fish sandwich. (She knew how to make a tuna sandwich, but she was lazy so she decided to ask my DIL to "teach" her how that way she did not need to make it herself).

Somewhere out there
What's funny is I was on my own for 16 yrs and I learned to be pretty handy myself, but according to hubby my skills are lacking, so I just stand back and let him do it and ask how do you want your tea? LOL
Also how to impress a handyman, have your own Eastwing hammer LOL He was so impressed that I had one, but I only bought it because the hammer part would not fly off the handle LOL Hysterical!

Did you inform DIL that she knew how?

One of the reasons I don't date is because I get excited on a first date and tell the guy about my power tool collection. He never calls me back.

I buy all my vape gear with PayPal. Not just from companies like ft but from companies with the word vape in their name
I used to do that but recently have changed my mind. My order at Smokly where they didn't have the item and they haven't refunded my money...I have a dispute with PP but that takes 10 days. If I had just put it on my cc, would already have the chargeback and all taken care of.

Smokly already refunded my money back to my credit card no dispute involved.

Right. I guess I just don't like putting my cc details out there all over the web. I was ripped off about 3.5k through credit card fraud a few years ago. I know it's probably safe 99 percent of the time but once bitten, twice shy

Didn't they give you the money back? I have had fraud and the cc companies took care of it so I wasn't charged.

They did eventually but it scared me.
I think you are safer with cc than PP, based on my experience over the years. I once lost a ton of money on a fraudulent ebay transaction paid through PP. They only refunded partial payment at the time. I think they have changed their policy since then but like you said once bitten....

The hubby and I figured out we have to each have our own tool sets. I have TINY hands. He has hands a basketball player would be proud of. Like we don't hold hands. I hold his thumb and he wraps his fingers around my entire hand. A hammer that works for him I'd hurt myself with. Besides if we shared tools I would never be able to find my mini vise grips. I need those for atty tops and stuck soda bottle caps!

To give a perspective I can't close my hand around the Pulse X BF

Visa and Mastercard both have a fraud guarantee so I feel completely safe. My mother who is 71 doesn't. I think there's something to be said about older people not trusting the internet and money. I don't know what it is but Ive seen it multiple times in older folks.

You've got me thinking now. I might do a bit more research into the better method. For me it's also partially force of habit
