I started a ticket with FT for a KF 5 clone.

I said "When I received this, there was excessive plastic extrusion on the insulator to which I removed. I went ahead a built it but now it tastes like burnt plastic. Please advise."

They said basically "send us a video"

How exactly do you send a video for a taste?

BTW before I tasted the burnt plastic it tasted so good I went ahead and bought a bunch more.

I posted before of how a vendor wanted a video of a mod that wasn't working. They just have to have the video for their policy. Just take a vid of the insulator.

What wick material do all of you prefer? Does anyone use rayon and kind of taste it? Or is it yet again operator error with me being the operator? I taste the rayon. Am I doing it wrong?

I use rayon exclusively for some years now and do taste it if I overwick, but it fades pretty quickly.

I don't think it matters. Like Rose said, how do you take a vid of a non-working mod not working? They just want to make sure that you actually have the item.

The same with how did I show the mod didn't work. Just take the vid, doesn't matter.
They just need a vid.

My istick 30W would get so hot when charging that you could not touch it and I had to unplug the charger from the other end (I was worried it would explode).

I sent in an image with the initial return request because that's what it asked for, then they replied back that they wanted a video. I think that must be standard for anything that is not visibly seen in an image.

I replied back to them that I was worried it would explode if I plugged it back in, and besides that, they would not be able to see how hot it got. They replied back that the person spoke to their manager and because a video would not show how hot it got they did not need the video. (I did not have to ship it back, got to keep it for parts).

In other news, I still have one FastTech package that is MIA. They are supposedly tracking it. The others seem to be making their way to me just fine. Thankfully it's nothing crucial. This is the package that had a "security return" and then was resent.

I've got three orders coming from FT. Right now it's been about 16 days. I usually would have had my orders by now. For some reason, one went from Chicago to Detroit in order to get to Kansas City. No idea why. The other two haven't updated since they were processed through Chicago.

Just curious: Let me know if you have to sign for your vaporl orders... I had 2 last week, the one that came 2nd I had to sign for (the only signature required that I had in the past 8 weeks). It was just a squonker RDA.

Interesting. I had one signed for that had internal batt mods but I can't remember if it was Vaporl.

I've got a couple drip tips that disappeared as of delivered to Shenzhen air transport on 10/19. I'm thinking those can safely be considered lost [emoji3] FastTech agrees, will resend them.
