@BigPappa - You're right, of course [emoji106]

Same concept - pull the leak part, dry things if they're already wet (use high proof drinking alcohol, not isopropyl, on the actual pin and hole), smear the food grade silicone sealant on the barrel of the part, push it back in, give it time to set.

I'd go for the silicone first, loctite if the silicone fails. It's a pretty decent sealant, I've had zero leaks on squonk bottles when using it.
When you say that you're using the silicone on the squonk bottles in what way are they leaking and how are you in and how are you repairing it if u dont mind? I have a few squonks now that I'm fairly new to and I would love to have that information on hand in case I need to do something similar :) thank you

DO you happen to know what size torx that is?
There appears to be like a raised area on the middle of the screw that may or may not require you to get the kind of Torx that has the hole in the tip and while it's always a good idea to have some torx around the house I was able to get the external screws out with a teeny tiny little flat head. And it didn't strip the screws so that's something to bear in mind. I'm not sure if I just got lucky and I'm not sure what the size of the little flat head is but it's really tiny it's smaller than the blue screwdrivers :)

I haven't done the repair yet but I just wanted to see whether or not I needed to purchase new repairing items and deemed it unnecessary when I could get the screws off with the regular flat head

This is specific to some larger bottles I get from fasttech, for use with 2x700 squonkers. The bottles have an air inlet port on the cap neck, used if you do normal bottle refilling (pull the bottle to refill).

I vastly prefer filling with a 510 refill bottle, so I seal the little inlet hole on the bottle cap neck, as well as the rotating collar (that exposes the hole). That inlet hole can act as a leak point if you do 510 refilling.

In the photo, the tab sticking out on the right of the bottle neck is what you can use to rotate the collar and expose the air inlet hole. The little bit of white at the bottom is some dried sealant.

The bottle cap still unscrews normally, if i want to rinse it or change tubing.

To seal it:
Remove the bottle cap
Slide the collar up and off
Put a tiny dab of NSF (food/water safe) sealant where you see the hole, from the outside
Slide the collar back on
Wipe off excess sealant at the base of the collar
Let it set overnight

Yeah, so much to buy and stash.

Seems to me like the best vapocalypse plan is to just plan on quitting. Not necessarily right away, but within however many years of supplies you have.

It seemed that as I got closer to having enough of everything that it became easier to contemplate just stopping, and without thinking too much about it I have halved my daily nic mg consumption and juice ml consumption.
Last year I had enough nic to last 30yrs, this week I have enough to last 70yrs. I havnt bought or added any more. I just seem to be steadily vaping less and less.
I am at the stage where I feel really confident with the idea of not vaping. Conversely Im just as happy to keep right on vaping at the current levels, or at diminishing mg's and ml's

Z-Max Minis are worth like 5 bucks, 10 max. lol I have a half dozen of those, the wife still actually uses one.

I have a couple of those in my 'have and will probably not ever use again' stash. Tested everything a couple of months ago, and they still worked! :vapor: Let me know if wifey ever needs another.

I don't own either mod but I'd hazard a guess that the Smok is more likely to be overpowered than the other way round. Asmodus chips are pretty well regarded. Did you try the same build on a third mod - maybe a DNA? that might point you in the right direction

Geekvape Solo was at 22W. Out of all 3, I prefer the Solo. I put the others in the stash. Doesn't matter to me about it being under/overpowered, as long as I can get a good vape. I was just sharing, what I thought might be useful info.

I have had the same issue with both the Colossal and the Lustro. I figure it's a non-issue issue. LOL

See above. :)

Many all white cats are deaf unfortunately. Good on you for giving him a good home. So many won't take on an animal with issues.

Had a vet tell me, long time ago, that many all white blue eyed cats are deaf. (May also need to be long(ish) haired, been a long time!) We had one, at the time, and she was. But if not blue eyed or if not ALL white, odds of being deaf went back down to "normal", i.e. rare.

One benefit was that we didn't have to brush her, we could vacuum her instead. The noise, well, she heard no noise, and she always liked it :)

There was talk about replacement glass within the past 2 days, not sure if it was this thread or a different one... but 2-3 days ago the vape band fell off one of my tanks. It is in my house somewhere (probably my bed) and I figured it would turn up soon so I did not put a new one on the tank. Wouldn't you know, I had my setup on my lap, stood up and it hit the tile floor, cracking the glass. smh I don't think I dropped it the entire time I had the vape band on there, but the moment it went missing BAM!

On the bright side I have been wanting to try out some bubble glass I stocked up on, so now is the time (I have enough glass to drop and break it 34 more times).

Hopefully it wasn't with your Roomba!

I suspect bubble glass will hold up better to being dropped. Try it. I dare you.

Isn't that always the way! Glad you have backups :)
