Woah, now there's a device I never even heard of before. From what I can tell that was a 2017 mod. Makes sense because I stopped looking at new stuff around that time for about a year. Was all vaped out in that respect.
Wonderful little device. Early Pod system. It sequel the Dolphin however was not worth bothering with.

Darn not the low budget mod I was imagining. And they're out of orange! Thought I was the only orange fan.

Found an orange one for $30 at eightvape for anyone else wondering. Just save me an orange one while I drive home and ponder this purchase in the car, they have what appears to be every color.
How about a $15 tarot baby kit from eightvape?

Internal battery is a negative, but it's compact and includes an NRG SE tank (so compatible with baby beast/hellbeast/Cerberus/... Heads).

I tossed in a $3 smok slm pod set, it was a special they had running until early this afternoon. Tonight I used the little mojo disposable when I went with DW to see a ballet - tiny, unobtrusive [emoji106]

Agreed. It was one of the only mods my husband (a smoker) bothered with. I actually had him going on it frequently there for a while.

Dead simple and could take a punishing. Big tank. I am averaging 2 years before the batteries die so decent longevity for a built in. I am down to my last 2. I stocked about 1 years worth of coils for them. I figure the batteries will die before I run out of coils.

They really dropped the ball with the dolphin though. Leaky mess and the latch that holds the tank in breaks fast and after that getting the tank to stay in is a nightmare that involved duct taping it down for me.

Speaking of built-in battery mods. I have about 4 or so that I never opened up, just hoarded them away maybe 2 years ago before I wised up and started 18650 mods only.

I suppose it would be wise to open them up and recharge them every once in a while, right?

I really don't know sorry.

My only remaining built ins are the 2 penguins and a tiny geekvape SimpleEX squonker I picked up dirt cheap a couple months ago. All are in the daily rotation

Where do nic hoarders buy glass bottles for your nic base?

I prefer clear so I can see the color of my nic base in the freezer.

Rossum suggested I look at Amazon and Glass Bottle Outlet. Didn't bother with Amazon yet, but GBO doesn't sell clear glass bottles larger than 4oz. Prefer at least 8 oz and maybe a few 16 oz.

Even my brand new MVP5 isn’t something I would store. As soon as I decided I was going to buy one, I knew it was going into the present-day rotation of mods.

I have 2 istick 30W and 2 MVP 20W, never opened. Don't even like the Isticks. I don't mind the MVP because it doubles as a little power bank. Built like a tank, too. Got them really cheap and found silicone sleeves for them. Fit like a glove. I carry the MVP I opened when I'm away in case I need to recharge something and have no where to plug the charger. I don't have a powerbank so that works for me. When I do open up the other 2 to recharge them, I will probably carry 2 or all 3 with me for maximum available power source. :) + I can use one for vaping should I need it.

Logic tells me they have to be opened to make sure they have at least 50% charge so as to not ruin them. Even though I don't prefer them, you never know when you might need 'em.

I want one, but I just don't want an integrated battery mod anymore. MVPs are built like a brick sht house, I love that about them.

The one think I never liked about Innokin mods, though, is that the fire buttons on them are MUCH harder to press than every other mod I've ever had. Way harder. I wonder how the MVP 5 button is?

I buy the amber 8oz from heartland, same time as I buy nic from them. The largest clear glass they have is 4oz. The "extra" nic in a liter bottle goes into one of several 4oz bottles I have around.

Since I'm storing long term in a freezer I don't sweat colored vs. clear. I've had stuff in our standard kitchen freezer for 3 years that has been clear when I pull it and pour into a graduated cylinder for mixing; storing should be even better with the little chest freezer that's coming in (I'll set it colder and it will be opened far less often). I do mark the source and date on bottles, so I rotate out the oldest nic first.

It’s probably the last built-in batt I buy. But no way was I not going to get one. I quit smoking with the MVP2 so a lot of love & nostalgia there. :)

ETA also have an MVP3 used for my one MTL 6mg (currently in the Brunhilde - talk about a gorgeous tank). Got the MVP3 for a great price, sadly from a B&M going out of business.

Is there a specific kind of cap one should buy when preparing to store for long term (years)?

Yeah the polycone caps that these have, they were suggested by someone in the thread. Might have even been @Rossum. They're sold by Glass Bottle Outlet they're just on amazon. Most people don't buy clear as amber is better for long term storage. I'm just parroting most of this...

Also so far everyone I've seen with a built in battery mod is using them now in the expectation that they'll be the mods that won't last the longest, internal batteries and all that. I however only have two iStick 50W that I don't even use anymore, can't imagine trying to bring them back into the rotation, they're ancient. Indestructible, but ancient.
