So - Why are "We" decanting the solution into glass bottles ? (other then to make it easier to handle.)

I have read and have been told (I'm not experienced) plastic bottles are not impervious to oxygen (and I guess moisture, too). Also, plastic does break down over time. Even if you use opaque black bottles, you are only blocking light, but that does not take into consideration the other factors (oxygen and moisture).

So glass is the obvious choice for vapocalypse storage.

I use glass because it is the conservative choice but also believe breakage is the biggest risk. So each bottle goes in a zip lock bag, then bubble wrap, then another zip lock bag. My theory is, if the glass gets broken may be one of the bags will not tear and I'll be able to salvage most of the liquid.

My HV shipment also arrived. I transferred it into 4oz amber bottles, wrapped each in foil, and back into the box the bottles were shipped in. I label the box very clearly and then put it into the downstairs meat freezer that no one goes into except for me. Not sure why I did the foil, lol. No light gets in there. It made good padding. :)

I use old clean socks. I always end up with a bunch of sock with missing matches. It was a good way to use them for something.

I am not particularly fussy when it comes to Nic though. Some people are sensitive to the taste of it. I pretty much don't taste it at all. Even stuff that is pretty oxidized. As long as it doesn't reek I am fine with it. So for me the brand does not really matter. I bought where I found sales through the years.

However, this is the first time I have gotten a 3 page "Material Safety Data Sheet - Nicotine-Glycerin Solution" from Heartland Vapes or any company for that matter.

Not sure why that's the first time you got those pages. I've gotten them in the box with every nic base order I've ever placed with them.

Glass is used because it's impermeable and doesn't leach (most plastics do, to some extent, particularly if it's long term, years).

From what I've read on any/all websites I've checked in the last 5 years, about "leaching" and plastic containers...LDPE, HDPE, and PP are the ones that do not leach. I still don't use anything but glass containers though, for my freezer "stash" of nic base, because none of those 3 are impermeable to oxygen.

I find that strange too. Until now I have only ordered bulk eliquid for the last few years, never nic base. Yet I always have gotten the MSDS pappers even with bulk eliquid purchases.

Or cookies, cookies work :)
:) I wish! No time for baking! I just finished making ejuice. I find it a chore these days. Made a peppermint white chocolate candy. I had to boost the liquid barns peppermint white chocolate. Of course, my family will have to taste test because I'm not to fond of peppermint. I'm sending it off as a gift.

Ref:
Dissolved organic carbon leaching from plastics stimulates microbial activity in the ocean
"Experiments were performed using commercially available low- and high-density polyethylene (LDPE and HDPE) as well as polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PE) from supermarket packaging ...
All plastic types used here leached DOC into the ambient water whether they were irradiated or held in the dark."

I'll stick with glass, particularly as we're talking long term storage.

That's also why I don't go full to the cap, and store the bottles vertically, to avoid long-term contact of the cap with the nic base.

Mine from the 11th is still "processing". Waiting until the end of today, then I will email them.

Mine, too! Wonder if they are going in reverse order of when received for some strange reason. Seems later orders shipped first. I did also order some flavors, perhaps that's holding it up.

I had 2 liters of nic and like six 1 liter plastic bottles and one or two 500ml all with child proof caps plus 7-8 yorker caps.

Seeing how you could get a liter as little as $34, and given the hoarding going on in the vaposphere, my guess is that they might be backlogged or ran out of their supply of house nic.

Just my guess.

Then you must be talking about DHL (DHL Ecommerce, to be exact)?

Goes from China, to Compton, California than at some point USPS picks it up.
That very well could be it.The tracking has never said anything about DHL so i assumed it to be China post,i can't remember if the label said Compton or not,i just remember it being California, the one thing i do remember is the return address always has a Chinese mans name as the sender haha.

You're missing the point. We ordered before others that have already received their product.
