Does anyone here vape unflavored and use pre-built drop-in coils?

How long do your coils last?

I've used nothing but RTAs for the last 3 years. But I'll have 6 tanks that came with my recent mod kit purchases. 3 Kanger and 3 wismec. The Kanger take ssocc coils and ws03 for the Wismec. I really like this wismec cb-60 kit. So much that I ordered 2 more the day after the first one arrived. My RTA coils and rayon wicks lasted months using unflavored with or without menthol added. I'm trying to figure out how many coils I should get for these new tanks.
@BigPappa uses unflavored and gets long use from drop in coils, he can give you a time frame.

YES - Unflavored 50/50 24 mg NIC with approximately 5-10 % Koolada and just a couple of drops of Menthol Crystal Liquid . . .Use - About 4 - 6ml per day . . . Coils used are Innokin Prism T18/T22 and Z Coils . . .

Well - It depends, most of the time these coils will last anywhere from 9-12 weeks (90 Days / approximately 3 months). . .

However, a couple of times the coil lasted even longer and 1-2 failed with a week - Why I don't know, haven't been able to figure that out . . . :(

YMMV . . . Hope this information is helpful . . . Just Sayin' . . .

.
Wow that is some serious longevity for drop in's

Anna, I share the same sentiments about rodents. And chipmunks are just rats with a racing stripe. Two accomplished hunting cats and three pit bulls, and our house is a no-go zone for rodents.
Rats with racing stripes, that cracked me up!:lol::lol:

Yes, very helpful. Makes me think I could get some good life out of drop-ins, since I only vape 2 to 3ml a day. Higher nic like you.

I think I'll continue to use my RTAs at home and take this cute little Wismec thing with me to work and on errands.

Size compared to what I've been using recently.

Squirrel in the house stories! Many years ago, we were having Thanksgiving at my in-laws house, that sat on the edge of a golf course & large wooded park. After dinner, some of us had made our way to the living room, to snag a more comfy seat.

I was sitting on the couch and noticed a bit of movement on the opposite side of the living room. I spotted a little fuzzy head and big eyes peeking over the top of the curtain rod. After the obligatory 'what the hell is that?!' I stood up and slowly walked toward it, to get a better look. A few seconds later, this critter leapt off the curtain rod and sailed the full length of the living & dining room, and landed right on the dining room table.

A flying squirrel!

There were still four or five people sitting & chatting at the table and they all freaked out, yelling & screaming. The squirrel jumped off the table, and ran into the kitchen. My BIL and I were hot on it's trail, and found it hiding under the kitchen table. The door to the garage was only a couple of feet away, so I opened it, and hit the garage door button. The squirrel ran right out into the garage and out towards the golf course.

Luckily no traps or brooms were needed. It found the exit rather quickly. That was my most memorable Thanksgiving dinner, thanks to Rocky the Flying Squirrel's visit!

When I fell in love with eagles last year I bought a bird bath and feeder for my backyard. The squirrels and chipmunks loved it too. So now I buy bird seed, corn mixture, and whole corns for all my critters. My son and I have gotten so much enjoyment watching them. The cat sits in her window seat checking it all out as well...when she’s not sleeping that is. I need to fill it all up today. I especially love to watch the birds take a bath.

I haven’t usec the ssocc for a while. I ran unflavored through a zenith coil for a little over 2 months before I changed it. Really the vapor production was still fine, I just felt like that was long enough for any coil. For me, they’re longer lasting than any other drop in, of course ymmv

I was aggravated that the dominator tank I bought didn’t come with the rba so bought another one. I’ve built the rba and put plenty of cotton in it with a 2.5mm Clapton coil. It has leaked all the liquid out both times I’ve tried. Any suggestions on what I might be doing wrong?

I put a 28 gauge, 3 mm coil in mine, fluff and cut the ends pretty short, tuck em in where they will not touch the bottom of the wicking channels. Have to make sure the channels are completely full at the deck.

I mostly followed this video,

I was down to 1 order in 17track (3f sxk riviera rdta), decided to check what's outstanding.

I've got the two from this weekend (Toptank mini, 26 5-packs of 0.5 ohm, spare glass - another long-term option in the if-I-can't-or-don't-feel-like-building category), and 5 not yet packaged at ft. The ft orders are cats and dogs - small screws, glass, a 521 mini v2 tab, shortfill cap opener, and a pair of krma styled rda.

It looks like I'm about there for stockpiling:
Mods (only a very few internal battery, and many mechs); variety and redundancy
Toppers - good selection of RTA, RDA, and tanks + prebuilt heads; variety and redundancy
Nic - plenty, without requiring any decrease in my present hefty consumption, bottled and in a freezer
Pods - a couple that I like, with a handful of spare pods, that I only expect to use over a few years in trips
Widgets - glass, screws, orings, wire, tools, 510 squonk connector parts for rebuilds, some sets of pre-wound coils, rayon wick

I’m not giving up yet. I’ll watch the video and try again. Maybe my coil was too small and didn’t allow enough cotton or something. It felt pretty tight but I’ll keep trying.

That's frustrating and sorry to hear it. :(

I hope you figure out how to stop the leaking problem.

The idea of a hopelessly, severely leaking tank is one of the reasons why I've been hesitant to buy tanks for my stash that I have no personal experience with. Severely leaking tanks are scary to me in terms of vapocalypse vaping - I can't be wasting that juice.

THAT reminds me it's time for a new ROACH perimeter outside the house (about a foot outside the house, then inside ALL the entrances, doors and windows.

It is a giant PITA, but it is the best way. I only twitched with Raid that first time, but like, it's still Work.

I only trust me to do it, because I am the best at it. It is "wake up roach" seasons, and that SUCKS. Douglas (the city) has roving bands of roaches. I know it's outside, too because if they GET in, they die within 2 inches of the entrance. No eggs in here, but one day, ONE DAY thanks to the damn HOUS, well, I could have paid off my CREDIT card debt with that money ARGH!!!

One day, we will own land.. It will be less critery or less roachy at least.

    GAh.

I bought it just to try something new. I’ve got a good stockpile of my favorite tank which is the original Zeus rta.
