Vapers who didn't want to use silica wicks used to use organic cotton balls all the time right before the Japanese cotton became popular.

Some even used regular cotton balls but boiled them first. Not sure if that really does anything. Besides, who wants to do laundry just for a vape? Personally, I'd try rayon before I'd go through the trouble of laundering cotton balls.
I used my share of silica before I went to cotton balls. vaping silica never sounded safe to me.

¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Do you realize that to be certified organic a farm only has to be pesticide free for 5 years but pesticides remain in the soil 40+ years? Organic certification is a joke it means nothing.

So are you saying that Japanese cotton farms are required to wait 40+ years before they can grow and market their cotton as organic. Doubt it.

Anything "organic" is basically "only partially organic".

I have to admit those little tarot nano kits are neat.

Unfortunately it would be another built-in battery mod, and I can't find a clean play relative to the tank. I'd need the bubble glass (relatively rare and/or nor cheap), then to invest in EUC heads. Best I see on the heads is vaporl has the ceramic 0.3 ohm at $4.77, with the non-ceramic Clapton 0.5 at $6.87.

Ah well, time to exercise!

Yes its the brand of rayon you can get at Sallys or Amazon.
You have to be careful. Graham Cellucotton actually has 3 variants - rayon, rayon/cotton blend, and cotton. The pure rayon version is what we use for vaping. The boxes are clearly marked, you just have to know to check.

Someone was asking about the EUC coils. I stuck a 1.0 ohm cermaic coil in the Veco on the tarot nano at 15 watts and it is a quite nice vape. Decent flavor and a reasonal amount of vapor. Well worth the 3.50 ish I paid for a box of coils.

I got a couple of the target mini 2 kits. It was me asking about the coils. I tried the one it came with and seemed like I was getting dry hits.

When I was rebuilding over 5+ years ago (before I went strictly dropin) I used organic cotton balls. I don’t hear anyone using them any longer. Are they safe? Now that I’m building coils again, and if I ever run out of cotton bacon/rayon/unicorn hair , can I use the cotton balls?

I bought a big bag of koh gen do cotton squares a long time ago and still have 3/4 of the bag. Not as convenient as premade wicks but a lot cheaper.

Same here. Also have a big bag of the Puff cotton I have yet to use and a little stack of Muji I never used either.
