Start collecting firearms, lots of shiny guns out there. Lots of fun at the range too.
The Berserker has such a tight draw I never use it, it detaches my dentures, LOL.
I used rayon at pretty close to 90VG to start, never had a bad taste. There is a break in process you gotta saturate the wick and burn it like you are dry burning a coil (I mean, not quite that much) but it should kill any rayon taste. I do it as I tuck in my tails these days but I am an old pro now.

Shiny Trading? Would still be a hunt!Oh I really hadn’t thought about the aftermath of not being on the hunt. The thrill of finding and receiving gear you really want. Now I’m depressed. What a sad thought. What will us Shinys do?
This “shiny support group” really may end as a true support group for depressed Shinys. I know I’ll need a lot of emotional support after the rush & high of getting new gear.
This is terrible. I suppose we’ll still be able to find shiny items from places still shipping to the US.
I suppose our Shinys could be New To You items as well.
Such sad times ahead![]()
Welcome! There's a version of the coolfire 4 that does not have a built in battery. I have one but I don't remember when I bought it. It's the same form as yours but without the lanyard loop. There's also another version, later, ( I think) looks a little different. I saw them at direct vapor, not cheap, but if you love it, something to think about.
Lol, I've lurked this thread from day one, never posted.
Thanks! That was my last GT coil order, I should be fully stocked... unless someone wants to get rid of their .2's that were on Eightvape because they do not like them.Vaprzon buy 2 packs of coils get 1 free (33% off), code HAWK
(This gets the EUC 0.5 ohm ceramic down to $6/5-pack. Not as good as eightvape's price on the 1 ohm, but 0.5 is in my target zone.)
Put them in your cart in multiples of 3, it takes off the price of the third one.

Standardized on 18650 and bought many mods. Took advantage of sales.
Stock up on 100mg/ml nicotine. ... Choose 3 vendors to avoid "all eggs in one basket".
New member, but been following this thread for quite a while. I have never really been a prepper type, but with May looming and bans coming up from the states I decided I needed to stock up. I have been stocking up since mid last year and think I am just about there. Here was my strategy:
With all of that in mind, I have enough liquid nicotine and gear to last the rest of my life if the worst happens.
- Consider different vaping scenarios: Regular, stealth, etc.
- Standardize on a small number of platforms.
- Focus on rebuildable atomizers. If prebought coils go away, I'm still good.
- Buy mods that use external batteries. LiPO batteries on mods are hard to replace and have limited lifespan. Standardized on 18650 and bought many mods. Took advantage of sales.
- Buy some mech mods since electronics do die.
- Buy things in at least pairs so I would have parts if one got damaged and parts became unobtainium. Sales and fasttech/3fvape/etc have been great here.
- Similarly, gets parts I might need later. A rebuildable atomizer with a cracked center post is useless. Glass is another example. Pick up extra specialized/unusual gaskets. For AIO, buy extra tanks.
- Pick up rebuilding supplies. Wires, Mesh, cotton, rayon. I realize these will be available but if the worst happens, I suspect the reliability of sources may become more shadowy. They are cheap now, high quality and it's just good to have them around.
- DIY. Stock up on 100mg/ml nicotine. Store correctly in deep freeze. Choose 3 vendors to avoid "all eggs in one basket". Another advantage of this is that since many states (and fed) are putting onerous nicotine taxes in place, this could be a considerable cost savings later.
My last concern is really flavorings. I have never seen a consensus opinion how to store flavorings for a long time. While flavorings will not necessarily be banned in the worst case since they do have other uses, I suspect the market will contract considerably and choices will be reduced. Would love to store some quantity of my daily driver flavorings but I worry that it is really a waste of money to buy in quantity.
Did I miss anything? Any thoughts about storing flavorings (FA, Capella, etc).
Is there a short version of this? This may help!
THE FLAVOR APPRENTICE SHELF LIFE FLAVOR INFORMATION Concentrated flavors do not spoil, or go rancid, like fruit juices can., so they do not really have an"expiration date".But under certain conditions they can change. In other words, you will notice that a "fresh" bottle might seem different from an older bottle. Basically, what my flavor manufacturer tells me is that the flavors can have a very long shelf life, when they are not continuouslyopened and are stored in glass. It is not necessary to store them in the refrigerator, but I don't think that this would hurt them. But sometimes refrigeration can cause re-crystallization of flavors that have a lot of the crystals like ethyl maltol in them. Please refer to our COA for our shelf life statement. Here's some background. Every concentrated flavor is a mixture of raw materials, and every flavor blend can act differently. For example flavors that have a vanilla characteristic are going to have slightly different storage capabilities than fruit flavors. Here's the reason. Vanilla and caramel flavors are mostly made of large molecules like vanillin, ethyl vanillin , etc. These molecules are not very volatile, and tend not to escape the bottle when you open it. They will be fairly stable. Fruit flavors, on the other hand, are made of much smaller molecules in general. Whenever you open a bottle, it's the lightest and smallest molecules that escape and reach your nose quickly. Over time when you open a bottle over and over again more and more proportion of these lighter molecules leave the bottle and eventually the character of the flavor will be changed. This doesn't mean the flavors spoiled, it's just different. So this is one piece of advice, if you are going to store a flavor for a long period of time, transfer the flavor to smaller bottles that will you will not have to open over and over again. Also, when a flavor is warm, like if it's a hot day, when you open the bottle even moreof the volatile molecules will escape; much more will escape than if the flavor was cool. This is true for all liquids, when liquids are heated the molecules are much more easily converted to their gaseous state. So in general it is a good idea to keep the flavor cool though refrigeration is not necessary. Also, in general, it is best not to store these flavors long-term in soft (LDPE) plastic. The plastic that we ship our 4 oz and 16oz sizes in is PET plastic, which is very resistantto interaction with the flavors. When we bottle our 4oz and 16oz flavors, we nitrogen flush them, this means that we remove the oxygen from the bottle and then seal them. This greatly extends the shelf life, when the flavor is not opened. However, most of our customers open the bottles and oxygen gets in, and the flavors may start to change over time. The recommendations about storing in plastic assumes the customer has opened the bottle. Please know that it is not a good idea to store the flavors with plastic eyedropper caps on the bottles. The rubber that's used with the eyedroppers is extremely soft and interacts with a great many materials. If you try to store your flavors with these rubber dropper caps attached you will most likely ruin both the caps and the flavors
I have to admit, I failed miserably in this respect. F-
Being really tight on finds and income right now, I bought all my nic from HeartlandVapes at an average of way under $40/liter. I did that strictly due to the price.
The only exception is that I have one 120ml bottle of NicSelect.![]()
