Not positive but most people when ill spend lots of time in bed and the bathroom. Although the 'runs' may not play a role in this virus it seems to be an automatic response when people hear the 'flu' which at first this virus was being compared to other flus. Only thing that makes any sense to me for the run on tp.DW and I went by the local Aldis this afternoon, it was "interesting". We stop by every couple of days for odds and ends, everything is normally pretty well stocked (good staff and distribution system). Today a bunch of things were emptied out, including bananas and berries - must have been a horde of monkeys and birds shopping before we got there [emoji3]
I'm still not sure what the toilet paper surge is about - do folks associate "corona" with "la tourista"? [emoji16]
I'm another person with quick shipping from heartland - they're really on the ball.
News channels and the experts all keep saying no need for public to wear mask or stock up on the items at all. No one listens or believes. That is why shelves are empty and hospital staff have shortages of the masks. Seems to me they should have the priority for the mask before public does since they are the ones actually in contact with those who are sick. And if they get sick because they havent got enough supplies then no one will be available to care for the patients. People allow fear to dictate their actions instead of logic. Crazy.Walmart was almost emptied out of staples. Toilet paper has been gone. Aisles completely cleared of items. It seems every day it gets worse with the amount of shoppers and empty shelves. Crazy times. And everyone is so quiet in Walmart. I’m done. The only way I’ll go shopping is if my parents or immediate family need anything. I hope to never see this again. Does anyone think this could have been handled differently? Is the mayhem necessary? I know I’ve contributed to it but I guess all this is just scary. I got paper face masks in today with N95 masks on the way. I look at myself, similar to my vape stocking, and feel stupid and insane for spending all this money and having all this stuff.![]()
Just shy of 1 month,,, instincts working.- no regretsI read a lot,, don't usually pass on what I read,,, but I read enough to decide I don't want to compete with vapers and anyone/ other industries that use vg& pg,,, went ahead and ordered couple more gallons should last me 2 years on top of what I already have.
Last year I bought 2 years supply of flavors,, then i split my recipe % in half,, adjusted pretty quick ( wow)
Our media/ fda/cdc seem to be down playing the virus. In about 5-6 weeks,, things might get more limited,,, ie. I don't want to compete with you or someone making soap for my vg/pg,,, so I am ordering it now.
I did place a small FT Order Jan 16,, got it jan 30- got lucky, only $22 + vg/pg $46
I've had some problems with my windows in my car too but not that excessive, I clean the windshield every week I. I cleaned all the windows a couple weeks ago for the first time since 6 months ago when I bought it brand new. I actually made a thread about this because I was having trouble getting all the vape off.
Best Cleaner for getting Vape off car windows
I'm max VG, 6% nic, Cinnamon Danish Swirl flavoring. It's kind gold looking juice.
I ended up going with this stuff that was recommended. I'm going to try it tomorrow and do all of the windows. Maybe outside too.

Also... You can still get wet wipes on Amazon for reasonable prices, especially if you have Amazon Fresh in your area. You won't need to be using much of your TP supply if you have a bunch of those around.
I ordered two eight packs. Now sold out but there's other brands and listings. I use them anyways so it really wasn't ordering anything extra as much as getting a bunch up front.
I had heard that the majority of masks are made in China and they may not had enough to share fully with US or other countries. There is so many conflicting stories out there it makes people wonder if they have been told the entire truth--I do get that--but what most of us don't know(I just mean in general --the public --not anyone here specifically--)is that China was infected long before it was being recognized in the mainstream until sometime in Dec/Jan. In this country most people were focused on the Impeachment of the pres. Paying little attention to all else happening here. I think that is why now it seems pretty quick for China cases to be going down when it really was around much longer over there. And other Asian countries started development of their needs cause they were getting cases before us and that is where it spread first. So of course it stands to reason they would now be at full capacity to produce products and testing kits while the US is really scrambling to catch up to speed quickly and info isn't always consistent. If you are quarantined for two weeks or they start shutting down entire regions like Italy you do kinda need to stock up. It’s a shame that America doesn’t have enough necessities for medical staff. Not enough isolation rooms or ventilators. Or that testing kits are not readily available. But every time I turn on the news or read the internet the stories are getting worse and worse and nobody is easing those fears everyone has and are bombarded with. I don’t blame the folks trying to take care of their families in crisis...I don’t blame anyone...but it seems this has escalated and people are scared. Doom and gloom.
Baby wipes are handy to have.![]()
Precisely. And the people who can't understand that are just circle jerking, trying to gain the feeling of control in an uncontrollable storm. It causes more stress and panic and does not help anything in any way.Masks to nothing to keep you from getting the virus. Masks only stop the infected from spreading the virus.
All the virus experts disagree with you. They have been saying on the news that your first statement is false. The experts are the ones that are saying a mask only stops the infected from spreading the virus. A mask doesn't stop the healthy from getting the virus.A properly worn mask does help you from catching the virus. It's simply a bit of a hassle to wear long term, to make sure it has a full seal, and needs to be disposed of after use. It's a different use case from my typical scenario, takes user care to be effective but certainly does work.
I use them when cutting pressure treated wood, outdoor chores when the pollen count is really high, and garbage tasks like attic cleaning. The vented ones are great when you have to wear safety glasses, much less trouble with lens fog.
If a person is sick, wearing the non-vented kind keeps them from spreading the virus when they sneeze or cough.
I guess it hasn't shocked or surprised me after being through a few incoming hurricane preps. I don't see much difference for what is or is not in stock. The one difference I am seeing is people are much more combative with the virus stuff.Walmart was almost emptied out of staples. Toilet paper has been gone. Aisles completely cleared of items. It seems every day it gets worse with the amount of shoppers and empty shelves. Crazy times. And everyone is so quiet in Walmart. I’m done.
