I haven't bothered modding my first p80 yet, since I have a batch of 20700 batteries that work nicely. I already had my X, and put the 80 in storage, before I ran across the mod.

I'll likely open the new 80 just to upgrade firmware, then back in the box.
I didn't realize the pulse x was different physically from the pulse 80, I just got the X because I wanted the RDA it came with which I'm not a huge fan of after using.

modding will always exist. It always has as far as I know. The devices we enjoy today exist because of modders coming up with the ideas. It will just move farther underground or possibly be marketed to the CBD market. I was doing some poking around on CBD sites and some of their gear would be easily adapted to our use if not usable out of the box. Not as nice as what we now have but in a pinch doable.

I personally plan that if something gets through the process I will snag it. That will be my out and about vape. My good stuff stays home. Though what we currently own will not be illegal to use I just don't want to deal with the BS on the street. Sends my social anxiety through the roof when someone attacks me over it.

Speaking of alternative vape gear, I was recently looking around to see if there was a variable voltage twist-style 510 cigalike battery for sale anywhere as I had never heard of one.

Lo and behold, Yocan has one. It's basically a Kanger e-smart and they call it b-smart lol, difference being the b-smart has adjustable twist voltage regulator like the old VV twist egos.

It only goes to 4.0v rather than above 4v like we were used to with eGos but 4.0v would be enough for me when I want a light vape. Unfortunately you have a to a box of 50 from Fasttech so I will look elsewhere.

Thanks guys, but I have plenty of ego devices. The Yocan Bsmart pic I posted above is a 510 cigalike. It's just a Kanger Esmart but with a VV twist regulator, something that was never made when cigalikes were all the rage. It's a 320 mAh battery, not much bigger than a cigarette.

That doesn't look so different from your standard vision spinner.

Happy September 1 stockers!

I expect many new visitors to this thread as the US vaping community starts waking up.

I hope there are still opportunities for them to get their supplies in order. So far, limited stock levels and unimpressive discounts seem to be the norm.

Fingers crossed for some sweet September closeouts!

Waiting on shipping for my 8vapes black Maxx, but no surprise that they're working off a backlog.

Vaprzon 75% off non-clearance eliquids, and 50% off mods (LASTDANCE for the mods)

I tossed the Athena kits up on classies; looks like they're already sold [emoji106]. With 4 pulse regulated mods, original pulse unregulated, 2 SKD Alchemist mech, 3 rebuilt mech (mm510 and new contacts), and a couple others, I think I'm set in that area [emoji3] I'll probably put the Luna up, too.

It worked for me yesterday.

Interesting. I keep checking and it says "invalid coupon" for me. Could be they just recently disabled it.

Oh well. I'll wait until Friday to place my order because it's possible they might have a labor day sale. They usually announce their sales right before the weekend.

I went there looking for equipment deals and ended up with a bunch of Halo liquids, costing about five cents/ml. A favorite and fun changeup from our DIY vapes.

Menthol Ice, Coolmist, Prime 15, Tribeca Green Tea and Pure Vanilla, all 0mg, best for cold longer term storage. They still have most all strengths. I'll be vapin' old school for fun for a long time!

I forgot Vaprzon was a sister company to Halo - thanks!

Yay, my $30 shipped (with a few trinket items) Pulse 80 has already shipped from wetvapes. They did a check with me this morning, because my IP address didn't match the shipping address (I was using a VPN) - good attention on their part.

Hope I'm not too late for some, however you could always contact the company to see if they will still apply the discounts:

Ecig Mafia: 10% OFF codes . . . ABBECM10 & ECM10
Free Shipping over $75.00 purchase

Hope it can help those who have or will be ordering from them . . . ;)

As an example, I just said I had one GV Solo die after 4 months - not that all my mods die after 4 months. I just asked the question originally to find out how many regulated mods most people target to feel comfortable.

regulated probably over 50 then lots of semi regulated and a few Mechs.
