will it by hard to get used using a firing button to vape?- So far I've only used draw activated devices.

Maybe, maybe not. All you can do is try it. There's your answer.

I personally had a hard time with the button. I wanted everything to be just like smoking..............I got over it.

That is what I meant by cigar shape {sort of, remember that even regular cigars come in all sorts of shapes and sizes.}

Got a picture of that cigar? I'm intrigued. Don't leave me hangin'!

Well I just went over what I already bought - Maybe two months ago when the problem of limited life of integrate batteries first started to bother me I went on the hunt and have already purchased:
"WoToFo Manik PoD MoD"
Still have it sealed in the box

Well rated by Mike Vapes on YouTube.

That is what I meant by cigar shape {sort of, remember that even regular cigars come in all sorts of shapes and sizes.}

How good is WoToFo? And will it by hard to get used using a firing button to vape?- So far I've only used draw activated devices.
Have you looked at the Innokin sceptre or kroma z? They’ve applied for pmta on those I think. The sceptre is either draw or button activated. Innokin gear holds up quite well. Worth looking at.

Just totally got sucked down a rabbit hole that I did not in any way mean to go down. I was looking around for good prices on some coils especially with all of the businesses sadly going out of business. I decided I wanted some different mesh spool than the one I have that I think will last me for the next 40 years and I found garden of Eden which I do remember someone saying was going out of business and had a sale. Well they didn't have the mesh but they had a 50% off sale and they had a Vinci x the limited edition package that has five coils for $31 and then half off so $15.50 you'll pay that for 5 coils on some sites.. so I threw it in the cart and then realized $6 for shipping.

I am fundamentally opposed to paying for shipping especially when I saw $25 or more free shipping. So I'm looking around there's lots of stuff that I probably could have used but no I don't do the responsible thing and get something I might actually need I buy a freaking horizon tech falcon because what I need right now is definitely a juice guzzling atomizer when I can't get e-juice mailed to me anymore /s. That's exactly what I need. I guess I really need to get my mixing skills up to par because I've seen people vape a tank in 7 to 12 hits on that thing. But I've never tried it I've never tried anything by horizon tech. I swore I wasn't going to buy anything that is not rebuildable or supplies..

I guess it doesn't hurt to have one more product with coils that are very popular and have many variations.

Any how TLDR garden of Eden has vape kits a couple mods some pods including the sigelei Humvee which I really love they have the Vinci x the falcon resin that I just bought a handful of RDAs as cheap as $5 if you can call the maze and RDA I don't but you could go check it out they still have some stuff It's a bit of a search on that site though for some reason Free shipping after $25But oddly enough that doesn't seem to apply to coils at least in my experience just now.

Somewhere out there
I remember the summer of 2016. We were all buying stuff for $5 and turning each other on to great deals. Deals were everywhere. There were also more online shops. All stocked and restocking. It was fun. Now, I have to get excited about $30-$50 "deals" that mostly are not in stock unless I want to order from China. How times have changed. Not so much fun now. The old days are always the best days. ;)

I have caught shinyitis way too late. I do have some solid old school gear, but I feel like I've missed out on some pretty, newer shiny things that now I may not get the chance to enjoy. Yeah, I took things for granted in the years following the Fall 2016 Vapocalypse that didn't happen...
We sure had fun stocking up, those were the days! So glad I did it and as the end looms I know I have plenty :)

I know that I have plenty for my needs but I still have that niggling voice in the back of my brain that says "What did you forget?"

Has anyone tried any of e-cigars or e-pipes?
Any recommended?

images

Any ecigars you find still on the market are likely old technology (and old stock) with really high resistance coils that will produce a less-than-satisfying vape. There may be few exceptions. If you are stocking for vapocalypse (which being on this thread I assume that is your goal), unless you know a lot about the old tech an dhow to make it work an dhow to rebuild the atomizers, best to stick with new tech.

Not to mention good luck getting those atomizers even from China. And you certainly won't find them in a local vape shop.

Top it of, those ecigars do not have removable batteries, which was one of your criteria.

If you want a cigar-like shape like you said, then stick with those funny cigar shapes that you mentioned, like those pod mod e-cigars ;)

On the other hand if you really do want a true cigar shape (aka tubular) with a removable battery, I gave you the ultimate suggestion that will produce a very nice vape (low wattage, no clouds bro) and with price that can't be beat.

THANKS!
Should of said 'sort of' cigar/pen shaped, not exactly. like my small Smok Novos or Uwell Caliburns - they still have a good feel when you hold them.

But at my age I like simple and easy - Still have a collection of maybe a hundred smoking pipes that I collected over the years when I was still using lit tobacco 'till about 2 years ago when I went all vape - So I'm a retired ex-smoker !!!

I'm looking at one of the larger online dealers sites who is now actively seeking a work around for the postal ban - and yes, even though larger size, he has a few pod/mods with non-integrated battery - I'll find something - just thought someone here might have a recommendation - Remember I want simple from a company not likely to go away {like Smok} and has easily available pods and/or coils if needed.
The Vinci x might fit your needs it's more of a square than a cigar shape but I just got one for $15 I got extra stuff to make $25 so I didn't have to pay shipping but the shipping was only like $5 to begin with. It comes with five coils it is an external battery 18650 It's not a draw powered device. But those coils and a device very similar to it have submitted a PMTA I'm not going to go into whether I think they're going to pass I don't think anything like that's going to pass but they also have rebuildable coils both in RBA and rebuildable mesh so just like a regular coil The watofo smrt coil fits. It's a cheap mod I've had one that's been working for over a year that I use more often than anything else that I take out of the house. I like it I don't know if it's going to suit your criteria But it's something to check out If you want to pick one up just to try it you can get the mod 5 coils the pod for like $15 on garden of eden you will have to supply your own battery and they don't have any on their site they're going out of business.

they are probably one of the most interchangeable prolific coils that go in any pod mod out there. At least the ones I know of they're like the baby beast coil of the pod mod market everything has something that'll fit up in there that sounded horrible I didn't mean to imply anything

E-mail from Nude Nicotine just received:
From Nude Nicotine & Nude Labs,

First and foremost – our leadership team here at Nude would like to extend a very warm thank you to all of our loyal customers. Some of you have been with us for years, and we truly appreciate the opportunity to keep us at the top of your list for vaping products.

We’d also like to thank you for your patience at this time as we strive to catch up with the massive in flux of orders we’ve been receiving in large part due to the upcoming shipping ban. We will make sure every order is processed and in the mail before the deadline arrives.

In order to facilitate this, we will need to implement a (temporary) final day to purchase from our retail store.

March 28th, 2021.

We want all of you to rest assured that we are working with our lawyers to forge the way to get you our vaping products going forward.

YOU can be a part of this solution as well!

As many of you may know, the shipping ban is prohibiting direct to consumer shipping, however we still will be able to ship to businesses. We encourage as many of you as possible to get to your local vape shops and inquire with them to see if they’d accept shipment for your products. Drop us a line at putustowork@nudenicotine.com with the contact info of the shop if they are open to the idea.

We are also working with several vape shipping up-starts, but they are still in the early phases of direct to consumer shipping beta testing, so that may take some time.

As regulations continually change so shall we.

We look forward to servicing all of your vaping needs going forward!

Thank you again!

I reviewed the Manik. It’s a decent pod mod but doesn’t have adjustable airflow. Bigbob used some scotch tape to cover some of the holes and really liked it.

I looked it up where you said - Batteries I could get elsewhere and they have the coils - But I did not see any pods? Don't the pods have to be changed?
Where do you get extra pods?

Congratulations on being smoke free since you started vaping!
For quite a few people, that first month or so is pretty difficult.

About this in your post though: "flavors for my liquid i need to get that, but my understanding food places will still sell that"

You'll want to buy the flavorings to use in your eliquid from vendors who sell ones that are OK to use in it. Flavorings you find in grocery stores, etc. often contain oils and other things that shouldn't be vaped. These vendors and many others sell ones you can use: Bull City Flavors, One Stop DIY Shop, Wizard Labs, Gremberry Farms, Liquid Barn, and more.

You can get wire from many places that have NO CONNECTION to vaping. TEMCO is one I have used in the past. SO no rush at all on getting wire. Same goes for cotton. MANY locations to get clean organic cotton that have nothing to do with vaping.

Worry about the things that will be hard to get. Gear and Nic.

Batteries, Wire and cotton will be obtainable. :)

I do understand how you feel. I had been vaping for 2 weeks when I heard about deeming coming down the pipe. I hit the panic button. Made it my business to know how to rebuild safely and mix my own liquid safely. Then set about collecting what I would need. I was lucky. As it turned out I had years to perfect what I needed but back when I was going through it I didn't know I would have years. This time though I really do believe we are at the end. If the shipping ban doesn't do us in the full enforcement of PMTA will in the fall.

Im glad i joined this group everyone has been a big help. Its messed up how their cracking down on this in such a timely manner this so quick in the blink if an eye. 1000s of business’s going out of l Business tons of local shops depend on shipping and the worst of it all is its all big tobacco companies behind it. Did you know The month of April Phillip Morris is coming out with the FDA approved I QOS smoke free cigarette in an interview they said this is the beginning of a smoke free future and that they’re doing this because they care about the health of the public people. This is the company that owns Marlboro they are responsible for millions of deaths in the past decades. Last year they were short on sales over $4 billion dollars because of the vape industry. This makes me ill I was a slave to them for over 20 years. Vaping i feel is saving my life. I vouch for as long as i live i will not give Philip morris another red cent for as long as i live we need to speak up people usps is taking comments right now in regards to the mail ban everyone need to blow that email up crash their servers tell them your story maybe you live in a rural area you dont have access to a vape shot tell they your disabled and you take care of your sick grandma that also vapes bring it all to them look up usps- vape mail comment period is open -Casaa go fill it our then it gives u the Opportunity to write the congress men in your area too please spread the word people they are tring to do it everywhere not just the usa big tobacco companies have more power then the people and thats not the way it’s supposed to be
