I remember the summer of 2016. We were all buying stuff for $5 and turning each other on to great deals. Deals were everywhere. There were also more online shops. All stocked and restocking. It was fun. Now, I have to get excited about $30-$50 "deals" that mostly are not in stock unless I want to order from China. How times have changed. Not so much fun now. The old days are always the best days. ;)

I have caught shinyitis way too late. I do have some solid old school gear, but I feel like I've missed out on some pretty, newer shiny things that now I may not get the chance to enjoy. Yeah, I took things for granted in the years following the Fall 2016 Vapocalypse that didn't happen...

So, vape NW has suddenly closed down its site, with a "returning shortly" notice. Right. I remember at one time they were a kick-az site with fast shipping, lots of inventory. The fire did them in I think. I guess I'm lucky, I received an Infinite CLT rda from them just last week (always liked that one). I have a soft spot for retro gear, I admit.
I saw that this morning. They had a fire???

Looks like to me that they're possibly just redoing their website. I noticed the following at the bottom of the page that pops up. The part I underlined is what makes me think that.

"This shop will be powered by Shopify."

Is anyone else having problems with the fatdaddyvapes dot com site? I filled my cart and when checking out with paypal it returns a message that there's a problem. When I try to check out without paypal, it goes to the same message.

I sent them an emal and haven't got a response.

Probably. I know of a couple places that did a site rewrite before starting closing down sale.

Just bought my first liter of juice - pre mixed - in the pre-mixture strength I wanted.
I'm well stocked on the pen style {ie. Smok, Caliburn, etc.} devices I like and extra pods
- BUT I realized these integrated battery devices have a limited shelf, and use life before the battery goes bad.
So can anyone recommend a pen style {I like it to feel like a small cigar in my hand} device that has a replaceable battery that should still be easy to obtain,
say like a pod/mod that has a replaceable battery ???
THANKS !

There are a number of good mod pods with replaceable batteries, but none come to mind that are cigar shaped. You could get an unregulated tube mod with an 18650 battery. You would lose a lot of benefits and safety of the regulated mod, and they aren't as small as a pen style, so they wouldn't feel like a cigar. This is why you didn't get an answer to your question the first time. I don't think what you want exists. You are limited because of the size of the external battery, which is bigger than the pen batteries. However the tube mod would be the closest, just don't try to use a sub-ohm coil on it for safety reasons.

Actually you can buy mesh in spools and in sheets as Seiggy has already mentioned. And I learned after stocking up on over 420+ mesh strips, that two mesh strips of mine in use now which I vaped over 900ml worth of juice through them so far. And they show no signs of slowing down yet. They really clean up nicely. So if seems I probably have an overstock of about 400 strips.

And like hittman, I too have both decks from my Zeus X tanks so I can use either or too. And while I haven't tried it, you probably could use the clampdown screws on the mesh deck to attach coils too.
I haven't encountered a mesh deck yet that does not take regular coilsthat being said I've only encountered a few. Originally I was panicking being like oh I've got to find some vandy vape mesh somewhere I don't want to pay $10 for shipping for a $4 item. But that was before I actually started even using the mesh that I already had. That was two and a half months ago I'm still using the same strip it hasn't discolored I haven't even had to gently dry burn it I wiped it a bit because I felt that it was the right thing to do same with the cotton change I didn't have to I could have been using the same cotton for two and a half months it doesn't discolor. I don't know what it is maybe it's cuz I'm using it in temperature control but I think that 5 ft of mesh could last me and five clones of me for a good 40 years

If you're looking for a replaceable a battery pod mod that is the shape if a cigar, you're out of luck. What I can refer you to is a replaceable battery eGo/510 mod called the CF mod. It's the size of a large cigar and it has an ego and 510 connection. But you then have to buy tanks and coil heads for it and in the end you'll be spending a small fortune. If all you have is pod systems, nothing you have till fit on it. If you are interested, though, PM me and I'll give you links to the CF mod cheap, and a link where to get the tank and the mod the cheapest. Unfortunately you will have to buy the mod and the tank/coils in 2 different places. Realize this is not an auto draw system, it will have a button you have to push in order to vape it.

Should of said 'sort of' cigar/pen shaped, not exactly. like my small Smok Novos or Uwell Caliburns - they still have a good feel when you hold them.

But at my age I like simple and easy - Still have a collection of maybe a hundred smoking pipes that I collected over the years when I was still using lit tobacco 'till about 2 years ago when I went all vape - So I'm a retired ex-smoker !!!

I'm looking at one of the larger online dealers sites who is now actively seeking a work around for the postal ban - and yes, even though larger size, he has a few pod/mods with non-integrated battery - I'll find something - just thought someone here might have a recommendation - Remember I want simple from a company not likely to go away {like Smok} and has easily available pods and/or coils if needed.

Well now that he doesn't want them...

Kanger eVod Clearomizer Tank (Pack of 5)

Kanger SOCC + MT32 Replacement Coils (Pack of 5)

    Aspire CF MOD Battery

Was mistaken. ECM has them all at a reasonable price. No need for 2 vendors. ECM15 promo code might give you 15% off the coils and tanks.

Oh, and you'll need a charger...
    Nitecore Ui2 Charger

They have a blackcell single charger but I had a blackcell charger blow up on me, so stay away from blackcell.

I prefer getting batteries and chargers from reputable cources like 18650batterystore..com

I think you'd be happy with the Kanger setup that @UncleJunkle mentioned. Kanger is a reputable brand, has better quality control than Smok, and you shouldn't have any issues finding coils for it, even after the ban. The price is very good, too.

With the exception of the CF mod, that's my "pod" stash. With Vamo Box 25 or Pico 75W. Was much cheaper for me to go this route than to get pod systems and pods and coils. Great low powered vape...for me.

Well I just went over what I already bought - Maybe two months ago when the problem of limited life of integrate batteries first started to bother me I went on the hunt and have already purchased:
    "WoToFo Manik PoD MoD"
Still have it sealed in the box

Well rated by Mike Vapes on YouTube.

    That is what I meant by cigar shape {sort of, remember that even regular cigars come in all sorts of shapes and sizes.}

How good is WoToFo? And will it by hard to get used using a firing button to vape?- So far I've only used draw activated devices.
