I'm stocked. Thanks.Did you buy any?
Yes, wicking is the part that requires more attention and may need trial and error before you get it right. And what wicking technique works for one rebuildable may not work for another. That's just the way it is. But it's the cheapest way to vape. Save the factory coils for those times when using rebuildables just isn't convenient or possible.
HOWEVER - if you don't like the idea of wicking fussy RTAs, then you may want to consider squonking. Squonking is just like dripping (you use an RDA) but the coil/wick is fed from the bottom, not by dripping from the top. RDAs don't require special/exact wicking since you don;t have to worry about pressure/feeding issues like you do in an RTA tank.
They should have known that was the best looking color.Well that’s not good. I won one also and requested the brown. I guess that’s why the tracking never moved for a week.
At least they didn't send you a recipe for "Turtle Soup" . . .
AN - I'll just leave it at that . . .

Squonking is as convenient as an RTA. You fill a bottle on the mod that every once in a while you have to give a squeeze, other than that it's the same. It's portable, no separate drip bottle to carry around. It's easy, the builds are less finicky about leaking.
Wicking is no big deal on my BFRDAs for my squonkers. As long as the coil is full of cotton and the cotton tails touch the juice well its good to go. Also given that my daily driver squonkers have 8-9 mL bottles it is actually far less hassel than a tank
Building your own Coils really Isn't that Bad.
For 1st Time Builders, I would suggest using Muji Pad Cotton.

Pad Cotton makes it Dead Simple to Cut the amount that you need. Just cut a Strip about a 1/4 Wide. De-Skin it, Twirl on End, Stick it thru the Coil, and the Trim the Ends.
I'm tell'n ya, after you do about 3 Coils you'll have the rhythm down. And wonder Why you thought this would be frustrating?
Obscure sourcing question: years ago I let my brother borrow my Nemesis Mech. It was always a little finnicky and the switch assembly would love to explode into pieces if you didn't constantly keep an eye on the screws. Long story short: it fell apart and my brother lost the little pin that fits underneath the bottom contact screw.
Any ideas where I can get another? I'd love to resurrect this mech "just in case" and "for reasons." I looked around online but didn't see any parts, just clones for sale.
Thanks!
So, what are the downsides to squonking?
If that rice pin on the nemy has the same function as the rice pin on the stingray (to attempt to keep the switch stable when pushing it), I made one out of a piece of smooth nail of a similar diameter of the rice pin.
Totally understandable. This video I recommend is old. Some of the information may be outdated and/or unnecessary. But I still like the video because it gives you a general sense of what you're doing when wrapping, installing, priming, wicking, and setting up some fresh new coils on your device of choice. Definitely give it a watch if you're interested in learning more and feel free to PM me or ask questions here on the forums if you need help in that regard.

I really haven't experienced that in the years I have been squonking. They suck back the crud from the RDA back into your squonk bottle and ruins the flavor.

Sorry! I read your post earlier really quickly I read it incorrectly. So, what are the downsides to squonking? Can you recommend a basic set up?
