Are you done stocking up?

Silly question perhaps but if a regulated mod board fails, do you basically have a mech if you tear out the board???
Good question. My uneducated guess would be no, since the switch assembly isn’t the same as a mech. Hopefully someone knowledgeable will chime in. It would be nice if you could do that without huge modifications

I really like my Aegis Squonk although never used it yet, it is cute :)

I haven't used many squonk mods but did review that one when it came out. I think it's a really good one. I pull it out to use when I have to review an rda.

No. Assuming you clipped the wires from the board, none of the wires left would be connected to anything except the battery contacts. You also wouldn't have any kind of switch (the switch is on the board) so you'd have to replace the stock fire button with a momentary switch of the proper rating...among other things.

Posting this here because it seems every time I post a shipping issue to ECF, the package is miraculously delivered next day or 2

See what I'm sayin'? Gearbest package is now showing as having arrived at my local post office at 6:26 this morning. Doesn't say "out for delivery" but I suspect it's actually out for delivery and does have an expected delivery date of today. If not, definitely tomorrow.

I'm tellin' ya, lamenting about it on ECF works! :D

The funny thing about stocking up, in 2016 I thought I was all set with Provari's and KFL+'s. Then in 2019 realized some batts for mini Provari's were hard to find so scrambled to find more other size batt mods and other tanks, especially ones that had rebuildable drop in set up. That was fun! Now I feel pretty good about what I have, my very own mini vape shop at my fingertips :)
Mini vape shop? I have a whole warehouse.:w00t:

I am still filling a few holes in my inventory. I have a whole bunch of squonkers but have never squonked - the price was too good to pass up. So I am still acquiring as many MTL RDAs as I can.
I ended up buying a couple pod systems, but I have yet to pod.

$15+ minimum shipping fee and free shipping raised to $100 at a lot of stores was enough to put a hurtin' on any shinyitis I had.

But the fact that my purchase/identity data would be reported to the govt, well, that securely buries my shinyitis 6 feet under.

    I'm sure I'll be fine.

I don’t think it’s bad for them to know I bought one tank or something small. The government already knows more about me than I remember. I want to wait and see if places report prior to PACT sales. I ordered the gt minis from someplace new (to me). Makes me feel a little tinfoil hatish worrying about ordering, but better safe for sorry?

My fear about the reporting of purchase/identity data to the feds isn't about the feds knowing what I purchased or that I even made a purchase. It's a fear about something else that I'm 100% certain would come about from that. But I won't post about that publicly anymore. Some of us have to worry about it, some of us don't. I unfortunately do. Trust me, it has nothing to do with tinfoil hats. I already experienced this "something else" in my life and have posted about it a few times on ECF.

ETA: Now that I think about it, the fact that I won't post what my actual fear is...well...that in and of itself is actually kinda tinfoil hat-ish. But that's the world we live in, IMHO.

Was about to make a post about how I'm done stocking up but I think I'm going to check my o-ring supply. I have a feeling these leaky Prince TFV12 tanks are leaking because the o-rings are starting to go bad after 3-4 years of use. I might be able to just refurb them.

I'm done spending any sizable amount of money on vape for sure though. I'm already wondering if I have too much, not too little. One thing I know is I definitely have too many shoes!

These are out for delivery today though... haha

Ok thanks, I was wondering about the fire button. It got me thinking because I have two old GLV mini's, they have a few wires but I don't think it's regulated at all, basically a mech with some wires to button?? Anyone know the GLV's? They took a CLR batt or something??

I like that it has replacement panels to use as just a mod too. I have several others too, but I like how the Aegis feels :)

    What's wrong with tinfoil hats?

I actually saw him in concert a few years ago. It was as a birthday present for my daughter. I think the only ones over 15 there were parents, the rest were nerdy kids, including my daughter.

I've been a fan of his since his early days of songs like " Another one rides the bus".
