Great! I'll double check that is the correct size get a few :)

Just my opinion here, and I know it will be sacrilege :sneaky:...

If I had a higher end mech that takes batteries that aren't as readily available today, and I had a sizable mod stash as it is (including other mechs that take 18650/21700), I would consider selling that mod before I would consider buying and storing batteries for it and possibly never using the mod or the batteries.

Either that or use it now before the batteries become a much bigger problem.

All my REOs are full size because the smaller batteries are boarderline for me amps wise. The thing to always remember is the vast majority of REOs are true mechs albeit with some very good safety systems built in. So always check your max continuous discharge on the battery and make sure you build accordingly. My personal rule is to build to half or less of the max continuous discharge number for the battery assuming a 4.2 volt charge on the battery.

I have two pulse v2, haven't put them into use yet since I tend to stick with one regulated and one mech in use. I do like the hand feel of the v2, it's the most refined, and I expect thewaste resistance will be nice to have.

I should pick up s spare translucent bottle for the v2 (it comes with a spare dark bottle, but i prefer translucent), and firmware upgrade everything.

I have two Pulse V2's, the first in use since December, the second since February. I bought 3 each additional black and translucent spare bottles for them. I prefer the translucent because it is much easier to see the fluid level in them. The problem is they seem to leak more often than the black ones. I had read about this from others before I bought them, but bought them anyway.

I've never had the two black ones I've used leak, but I have had recurring small leaks from the (only) one translucent I've used. What I found was the little pin that holds the flip up lever of the refill cap moves a little off center, so it sticks out a bit on one side of the cap. If I carefully press that in, the leaking stops for 5 to 7 refills. The pin doesn't seem to move very far and still sticks out a bit.

I'm not really even sure yet that pushing that pin is changing anything, but it has worked for a while four times for me. I had a couple of good looks at the system and can't figure out any reason why the bottle coloring would change anything regarding the sealing, all I can tell you is what I've experienced so far, so take this all with a large grain of salt :)

I've also thought about closing off the bottom opening under the bottle and using any ordinary bottle that fits. That's my plan 'B' if I ever run out of OEM spares.

The mod though has been good enough that I'm thinking of getting a third. The only little niggling down side I've found is the battery charge indicator is inaccurate, so that by the time it indicates slightly less than full charge the battery is actually only about half full. I can very easily live with that though specially considering how good the mod is in every other respect.

I did think of that too. It's a shame these batteries are getting so scarce

MyVpro has them for $51.99, with a 15% off sale going right now. I think they only have 3 colors left, Obsidian black being one.

It's funny I agreed with your post and then looked at the 10 boxes of sneakers I haven't worn yet because Covid. People collect different stuff. Vape is more of a necessity to be honest for me. If anything I think this whole 5 years of stockpiling thing has really killed off the thrill of it being a hobby for me.

Eventually I'll make it fun again with some RTAs but right now I just want to pop a new coil in and ignore the fact I have a lifetime of vape supplies. I don't even want to look at it.

I kind of wish now that I had bought a topside 90 to try. I think they are hard to find now.

I like it. Due to my builds I like to use it with a 21700 battery, seems to give it a lil more .... in the pants. You would be fine with a 18650 battery more than likely. I did see them at element vape a couple of weeks ago, but haven't checked if they still have any left.

View attachment 937473 Squonk toppers, have no idea which one I'll like

I don't have the galaxies RDTA but I do have the RDA and it's honestly my favorite one, the one I just can't stop using...

I ended up buying 4 of them because of it and still thinking I should have gotten more... haha

I do think you're likely to like yours as a result.

Well sorry to say my Aegis mini batt is on it's last leg. I loved the size of this little one. I am hanging on to my internal batt mods when they bite the dust, just incase someone figures out an easy way to get a new batt in there :)

Here's a vid where someone takes one apart.

    Just a Word of Warning:

A Built in Battery Mod has a Battery that is Hardwired to the Main Board. So even if the Mod Doesn't turn on, that Doesn't mean that the Board isn't Energized with some Voltage.

So Use Caution when Poking around the Circuit Board. Or when Taking Screws out with a Screwdriver. Or Anything Metal.

I Believe that I was the 1st Person on the ECF to take apart an iStick 20W. I was also, I believe, the 1st Person to have to Order a 2nd iStick 20W because they Fried theirs after having it for only 4 Hours.

    LOL
