I do like them but they are a novelty for me. If I see a really good sale I might pick up another Vinci X and OXVA X since I have the pods & coils & rba's. But every different brand takes other pods and coils- would be really hard to get them all.

I could be wrong, but I think there are PNP coils that can be used on a few different brands of pods.

As far as I know, the voopoo pnp and vaporesso gtx coils are interchangeable. I have a good supply of both. I’m thinking about ordering an Abyss and the gtx bridge.

It would be costly to collect all the different pod systems. Ones with RBAs would be good as you wouldn't need to buy the drop in coils only extra pods and RBAs. The one drop in coil I noticed that crosses over to a few different brands is the nautilus bvc coils, also to several of the different Aspire pod systems.

The Abyss is interesting, cool it takes so many different coils, I have a vaporesso tank that I think takes gtx coils, I need to see if the PnP fits in there.

The one bridge for the abyss says pnp/gtx.

Anyone else use the Eleaf EC coils? What's your experience?

    I'm shocked.

April 27 made 2 months on these 0.5 ohm Eleaf EC coil heads. So I'm looking at 70 days on these two EC heads. For the 1st month, I was using them moderately heavy as I had RTAs in rotation during that time. After that, I set aside all other tanks and have been vaping these exclusively and heavily ever since to see if I could kill them. So given I wasn't using these exclusively the 1st month, let's say their heavy-use time so far has been about 50 days . That's still awesome especially seeing how they're still going strong.

These 2 coil heads are from 2 different packs from 2 different vendors.

Performance seems to be as good as day 1. Flavor? Not sure. Sometimes it seems flavor is a bit muted, but most of the time seems fine. Could be flavor fatigue because when the flavor seems to be muted, sweetness seems to stay the same.

I don't see how a coil head could last so long. I never had any other coil head last me more than 3 weeks on the same juice, 4 weeks tops. Even if they still vape after 3 weeks, flavor and/or vapor production tends to be less-than acceptable.

After these die, I'm going to test a couple more from 2 other vendors and if they last the same amount of time I'll probably try to sell a portion of my other tanks and coils but I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

I highly recommend these coils for DL vaping if you're using an atlantis-compatible tank.

One of my Eleaf EC coils has been giving me a slight burnt taste sometimes since last night. I'm going to stop using this one but the other is still going strong.

That makes 83 days in use for this one coil. But I will say that it's been about maybe 60-65 days of heavy use for testing purposes. It would not surprise me if I could go 100 to 120 days on one coil with moderate use!!!!!!!!!

I wish I had checked these coils out 2 years ago because it would have saved me some serious money on coils. If even only 75% of my EC coil stash lasts this long, I have a lifetime supply of EC coils assuming I only vape on EC coils and no RTAs or other tanks/coils.

I will likely be looking into selling part of my stash of Subtank OCC and SSOCC and other coils at some point. I like these EC coils a lot more.

I'm using one coil with Peppermint and one with Black Licorice. The one that gave out first is the Black Licorice one. The peppermint showing no signs of giving up the ghost as of today.

Both are crystal clear juices and about the same sweetness. Maybe the BL is slightly sweeter, though, hard to say. Both at 6mg nic.

Funny thing is about the EC coils is that they are 0.5 ohm, which I cannot vape on a subtank coil, too hot for me because they need a minimum of 30W (for me anyhow). But I can vape these 0.5 ohm EC coils at 21-23W and it's a great vape. Must use thin wire gauge becuase ramp-up at 21-23 is very fast unlike subtank coils. My guess is the EC uses 28g while subtank is probably 26g. I no longer use 26g wire for my RTAs. Ramp-up time and cool down time are too slow.

They do however drink juice more than I'm use to with 1 to 1.2 ohm coils, but not too bad. I'm not worried about it. Plan to reduce nic mg even more at some point. 12 to 8 to 6mg was a breeze for me. My nic stash doubled because of that :) Let's see if I can double it again.

I have some RY4 and I can tell you right now the EC coil won't go 83 days or probably even 60 days on that. But I think I might try it at some point just to see. I have to be in the mood for an RY4 though, so I may not be able to vape it heavily for the duration of the coil. like I've done with the Pprmnt and Black Lic.

Are these the Vaporesso's version of the CCell? I think they're cross compatible with quite a few different tanks/brands if so.

They're Eleaf EC coils. They basically fit any tank that uses Aspire Atlantis style of coil head. The regular EC heads like I have are not ceramic, just cotton. But I do believe they have a ceramic version.
