I would too if I were in the market for a dust/shock/water resistant mod. They'll wait until everyone buys the solo 2 then release the Max 2 so that everyone wants it, too. It never ends.

Yes, it protrudes, but it's flat. Once I started using my Cold Steel 100 mods, I was hooked on the glove-friendly type of buttons that not only protrude, but have a protrusion. I just dig the ergonomics of it.

But my Mamu with it's OKR T/6 buck was a better vape.
it ran on 2 very robust 14500 batteries (Trustfires were the name of the game back then)

I had one of those once, gave it up to get a Mako. Batteries were more common (14500)
BTW, ya can blame me for Jason (ENS) bringing you the SD Keyring (also made by Trog)

At this point, if I have a spare dime that I can justify spending it on adding to my stash, I'm going to buy nic base. I have enough hardware. Not that I don't have enough nic, but no one really knows for sure how long it will remain usable.

The nic I am using right now was purchased in 2014.
Clear and odor free - it's been in the freezer.

I'm using nic I purchased in 2015, pulled from my chest freezer recently, clear and odorless. I can remember @Kurt saying he did not expect nic in glass and deep freeze (chest freezer) to ever change, essentially a chemical standstill.

I understand, and there are others here who can share similar nic storage success stories. But most of my nic has to last much longer than 7-10 years (assuming I don't die "young"). The data just isn't out there for long-term home freezer storage because vaping is still relatively new and DIY is a niche within the vaping niche.

That's why nic base is pretty much the only thing I worry about at this point and why it's the only thing I'd bother to buy if I could.
