I don't need anything else since a long time ago, so in 2022 I've only purchased 35 or 40 devices so far
Y'all always make me feel like i should have estimated the lifespans of these things in weeks instead of in years.
Happy Big Day!Turn 81 tomorrow, so ...... IT'S WORKING!!!!!!!!![]()
You don't have to be the infant of the party. I'm going to be 59 for the first time. I've decided to stay there.
There's only one problem with that thought . . . Think about this: No matter how you look at it when you have a birthday it's not how "Old" you are - it is actually the start of the next year of your life . . . So 59 yo is in reality the start of you 60th year of LIFE (so you are living 60 now for a whole year) . . . Just Sayin' . . .

Yeah, but I'm 59, not 60.
... I'm going to be 59 for the first time. I've decided to stay there.
When I was Young, I did that at 27. I told people I was 27 well into my 30's. But of course, you can only do that for so long.
Now, when someone asks, I Don't Lie to make myself Younger. I Lie to make myself Older.
So someone will Ask and I'll say that I'm 75. Then they will usually say "Holy Snit! You look Great for 75. What's your Secret?".
LOL
Okay, I'm 81!
Wow! You look Great for 81 Territoo. What's your Secret?

OOPS!
For increased safety during transport, cells ship at a pretty low state-of-charge these days, typically 3.4x volts. Suggestion: If you have a charger that has a setting for LiFePO4 cells, use that to bring your new batteries up to 3.6V before putting them in storage. Based on the testing I've been doing since I got back to FL (where my test equipment is), I'm confident 3.6V is a good compromise level for storage, where you can leave them alone for several years.I bought ten of those batteries @Rossum posted. So I guess I’m still stocking up although I’ve bought no gear since the “ban” started.
