Is it wrong that at night, I take my batteries out and my tank off of my provari? Been doing it since January.

It's not wrong or right. Maybe even smart for the reason me and @Eskie stated about battery leakage. And taking tank off device at night might be smart to not wake up with your mod soaked in juice that morning. Awesome to see other Provari owners, I am one also. Still works brand new as the day I got it. Worth every penny. I use mine at work with my Russian, still satisfies my nic craving, and much less cloudy than my Noisy Cricket..

Just unscrewing the tank a few turns without completely removing it works too. Just need to break the electrical contact. :)

I always worry about the unexpected flush out the air hole and into the firing button or board. I only have 2 tanks attached at any given time. But I also don't switch flavors very often so it's not inconvenient for me. Sometimes being a flavor simpleton has some benefits.

Oh, that's another of my habits. No tank remains on a mod except in use until I'm sure it's housebroken. I have an aversion to my mods getting soaked with juice. Once a tank and build prove to be reliable I'll leave it on overnight.

You are making me further regret tossing the old vamo...lol.

I spread risk for my wife and myself. Bought multiples of different mods. Ended up with 6 Picos, 4 VTC's, 1 sigelei 90w, and 2 Cloupor Minis. My wife likes the Picos the best so most of those will be hers. I like them all. Especially the cloupor. Something about the solid feel and clicky buttons works with me.

Of course I'm now growing fond of the sig 90 I got on Sat so I'm considering adding a couple more of those. We have 4 istick internal batts as well. We're just going to keep using those until they stop charging or button/board fries. Looks like we're good to go for a while with mods and stuff even with the regs. I'll just add things when I feel like burning through some cash. I've gotten used to it. And thankfully did the entire mod/tank/nic stockpile out of pocket and not on credit. It wasn't easy. I have 2 kids in college. Ack.

I've mentioned this multiple times in this thread but I really do feel a little insane at times.

Bro, i know what you're saying. I was a t aloss about blowing 12-14 bucks on Vamos that cost 25 or so, and
I, though an old fart often confused for his grandfather have a very expensive
14 year old son worth his weight in gold. I promised to make him a new PC
so he can give his Mac a break AFTER I got all the stuff to get me through
stocking up for the Vapocalypse. He's b-day was May 27th so
I'm late, I'm late for a very important date

thanks Hazyshades. I've been wrapping contact and spaced coils for ages with 22s upto 28 guage and always heat them once I have installed them. What is the risk of a contact short?
Thanks

If you squeeze/touch the coils with metal tweezers at the same time you hit the fire button it will short the atomizer. Not a problem with ceramic tweezers.

I'm changing my strategy. I've been testing my mod stash before putting back away in boxes for the long haul. Then I started thinking about it. I've decided to instead rotate 3 mods every month and use them all as I go. Use determines life more than age but in the back of my mind I also think that letting mods sit untouched for years has no benefit. Maybe it's similar to a car where it's better to drive your extra car once a week instead of letting it sit for month. Not a good analogy but the idea is the same.

I have been rotating mods since I had enough to rotate.

Internal battery I rotate weekly and have been doing it for a while.

Replaceable battery. Still on testing on a couple of mods. When that is done I will figure out a rotation for them. Probally one battery charge and have 2 on the go. Keeps the batteries monitored every month and if something screws up I can still replace it for now.

Mechs and tanks are going to be packed up for future use.

I'm torn between the two. I like the idea of two mods out a week and rotating. I also like keeping them "as new" stored away. Later, it gives me something brand spankin' new to use. (I do use new mods a few days before storing) I dunno. It's not like I have to decide that right now and stick to it. lol For now, I use the Evic VTC Mini with a STM and a Pico with a Serpent mini daily. I also keep an AIO on my desk. I grab it sometimes when heading out to tend to the chickens.

Good habit infact anytime I am not vaping I take off the tank and remove batts.
Especially with any type of tube mod. I don't bother much with the box mods
unless I won't be using them for a while
but if you charge via usb it's a good idea to charge outside the mod on a quality charger at least once a week and inspect the batteries

Oh right yeah. But I mean that kinda goes for any metal around while your firing. Like you wanna be careful that you dont fire while your tightening screws.

Can you get ceramic screwdrivers yet???

I have ceramic as well because I am too casual.

I have at least 3 mods out each day. One with my daytime vape, another with my evening vape (avoid getting burned out on one flavor) and a third with an occasional use tank like my subohm or Limitless setups.

Yup, it's happened to me too. Good habit to do unscrewing tanks when not in use, after going through that "shower my device with expensive premium juice all over" once a while back, I've learned that lesson. I had to send back to manufacturer to put a new DNA chip back in. Good thing also is to have many devices in your arsenal; waiting for them to fix and ship back being modless would suck..

I do the same thing with 2 mods, RDA with an Unregulated Mod for home and a Regulated plus RTA when i'm out and about

What a neat idea! I'd be afraid of breaking them but yea, very cool.
I'm using the ceramic doughnut coils in the Atlantis as I write
and highly recommend them. They LAST
you gotta fire 'em a bit b4 toking but they're great and totally tasteless

Man I have six of 'em out daily out of a total of 2 dozen.
(not counting the old Vision Spinners) Each with a different flavor. I vape!
