Your right. But I don't use hybrids because I'm not that comfy yet.

So easy to rewrap. Get some covers pre cut, then take the nicked cover off your battery, get a hairdryer and back and forth fit the new cover. Make sure you don't lose the little positive insulator.

Yeah, to get 14 watts I'm at 1.25 so you'll go a little lower but go to vapecalc.com to be sure what you need.
You'll be well safe at 25 watts but you'll still be at .7s or so.
When you get the battery wraps get some insulators also, I've got a fairly large stock of both. It's so easy to re-wrap and ridiculously cheap also, no excuse for people having chewed up batteries.

I also recommend getting a ceramic blade to use to cut off the wrapper, non conductive ;)

Clones to the best of my knowledge cannot be sold on ECF.
Why is that?

I usually avoid clones but why is selling clones banned if someone clearly states it's a clone? Sounds a bit ridiculous

I agree. But either way. Your heading down a slippery slope if you use chewed batteries in regulated devices.

When that chipset ultimately fails one day, you may come a cropper.

Just don't be silly. Appreciate what your holding and using and you'll be fine :)

there are other vape forums I know of where it is allowed, and there is always craigslist/ebay

Good advice. You become familiar with all the 'rules' so much so, that after a couple weeks, you feel safer with your mech. I'm still a bit of a noob? so I have my ohmmeter on hand in case I drop the mod and I'm worried about the build.

And I use a reg when I'm nodding off in bed to make sure I don't fall asleep

Perhaps if drinking a lot because I can't be trusted.

But take care and be safe and you'll be very happy
Yeah I've got an iStick 30W and a Nautilus when I plan on going on a drunk ;)

Or if I just plan on light drinking/socializing a tube mod so I don't have to worry about putting in batteries wrong ;)

For anyone looking a Provari Raspberry P3 not a BLEM is only $100 :) Too bad I don't need more, love the color :) LOL! P3 Raspberry

I saw that, the color is sweet. Wish I could justify the price even though it's a good deal. But my poor cc needs a break. Lol

I know there's an online age verification thread I could post this in
but I like this thread better...:pervy:
form Vapejoose:

Online Age Verification Does Not Work
As of August 8, 2016 the FDA’s Deeming Regulations went into effect stating that for every transaction containing “Tobacco Products” the vendor must verify the customer is over 18 years old. In face-to-face transactions this is simple by showing your government issued photo id. However online it becomes much more difficult, and the technology doesn’t quite seem to be there to fully support proper age verification techniques.

BlueCheck does not offer any support options for vendors or consumers other than a ticket system which does not appear to get checked. That is why I’m writing this blog post to point out the flaws in their system and explain why we are removing BlueCheck from Vapejoose.

After 72 hours of running BlueCheck age verification plugin here is what we’ve found:
The BlueCheck plugin is easily bypassed by closing the plugin, allowing customers to checkout without providing age verification. This essentially makes the entire service worthless.

    • Customers over the age of 27 are still being prompted for photo identification.
    • International customers are occasionally being prompted for photo identification.
    • Verification time is suppose to be 20 seconds, however some customers have reported having to wait up to 36 hours for SMS verification code.
    • There is no way to complete age verification without a mobile telephone, which many customers do not have.
    • For many customers there are several assorted errors that prevent checkout, even after successfully completing the age verification process.
After researching many age verification options, and researching the ins-and-outs of the deeming regulations we’ve found a major flaw in the other age verification options available. The next largest age verification provider available only has a 60% match rate for age verification data and according to the PACT act (the same act that requires online retailers to use a third party age verification system) we are not allowed to manage the failed transactions. BlueCheck is the only service we’ve discovered so far that manually validates failed transactions, meaning with other popular age verification services 40% of customers would have to be turned away with no option of verifying their age.

Until a better option is available to online retailers that actually works more than 30-40% of the time, provides timely support to both vendors and consumers, and manually validates failed verifications, Vapejoose will not be using third party age verification software. If you’ve already gone through the age verification process, thank you, if you’ve had difficulty checking out over the last few days please try again today.

{all dot coms removed from above just in case vapejoose isn't approved by ECF, I don't feel like checking}
Online Age Verification Does NOT Work!

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ mail chimp url so y'all can verify the veracity of the copied post.

Regards,
Hazy
If you haven't done so, please post this in the other thread where it'll do a lot of good. They're trying their best to keep an ongoing list of what age verification software vendors are using.

That's funny, I do the exact same thing. iStick 30 and Nautilus Mini ALWAYS when I go out for mucho drinks. The expensive stuff stays home!

I learned my lesson 6 months ago in Nashville. I had a MiniVolt shipped to my hotel, took it out bar hopping and I lost it (or someone stole it). I owned the MiniVolt for a total of THREE HOURS!!:party:

Hehe. That's cool kross fear always holds hands. Helpful to a point. Makes you understand and take care with your actions.
I'm sure your careful anyway, how many times have you had short protection come up on your reg?

If the answer is 'lots of times' then 'hmmm'

Sounds good though.
Gus in Greece does like some cheaper €50 mechs with fuses that go to like 17-18! Have a look. Shipping won't b cheap though

@kross8 make sure you ask any questions because I'm captain paranoia and I'm still meching :)

After all your questions and the videos you've watched.
Watch 'the armed vaper - demystifying mech mods' super old vid but it's quite good.

After all that, I wanna see a pic. Good luck :)

If I was in your shoes though I'd have a good look at the reo.
Night night

That is a nice one. Really good reviews.

Mechs get a bad rap because of a few dumb@$$es. Inspect your battery wraps for tears, DONT put batteries in backwards, don't let batteries drain below about 3.6v and don't build stupid low (and check your coil resistance often). That is 99% of the battle.

I have always had a mech or two, but really got into them in the last month or so. I now use them about 90% of the time. Still have all of my teeth and fingers too! :D
