So now that we are mostly stocked up we can now sit back and watch the vape market wiggle and squirm trying to meet FDA requirements from here on out. I feel so bad for vendors and them trying to comply only for 2 more years unless things change for predicate date. It is actually painful to watch!

I am so proud. I haven't placed any orders for two days. :thumb:

So you only have 2 batteries?
Oh HEAVENS no....I'm cycling through 4, 18650's ATM.
I've got batteries...several. :) The only ones I don't have many of are the ? 18350's, which ever size goes in the ProVari mini with no extender...I never (ok, rarely) use the mini's without the extender cap.

I am so proud. I haven't placed any orders for two days. :thumb:
LMBO. Feels a L I T T L E weird, no?

If you haven't done so, please post this in the other thread where it'll do a lot of good. They're trying their best to keep an ongoing list of what age verification software vendors are using.
I didn't post it verbatim in order to not be accused of double posting.
But I did post there a post pointing to the post here.

This whole age verification thang is bogus BS and laziness on the part of online vendor's
credit handler/subcontractors. A credit card is itself a form of identification and proof of age
assuming it's possession by its owner, which can be verified through passwords.
All CC companies have ready access to a cardholder's info including age...and more

The age verification requirement in the FDA regs is as everything else the gub'min does totally devoid
of reason and usually based on ignorance and misinformation by and to and for stupid bureaucrats whose vision extends only to the edges of their cubicles.

Regards ;)

What I've taken notice to is the pod-mod.

We're here begging everyone to get out there & fight for our right to vape yet some manufacturers have taken a different approach. The same ones we've been buying our subohm setups from have been working on closed systems known as pod-mods.

I get the sinking feeling that instead of pushing for what we currently have, they'll be pushing for an entirely different market of vapers......the still-smoker-who-never-tried-vaping-&-we-wanna-give-them-the-smoker-experience. I dont know if that's good or bad. :?:

I think that's a good thing. Not of course the part about it affecting what we currently have. It's those still-smoker-who-never-tried-vaping types that I was most worried about with all this deeming. I am glad there will still be products to help them, as we were helped.

I didn't know what a pod mod was until I read that other thread earlier. Think they would be great for errands. I got my eye on one of those modifiable and refillable Juuls. Next Month. Before they change that ability.

I think I have 8 to 10 - 18650's, and 8 to 10 - 18490's.

I had 9 18650's and 5 18350's when I started with mods. Now I have 6 18650's and 4 18350's. I have had them in rotation for over 4 years. I lost 3 18650's and 1 18350's due to damage, one overheated, and one I actually misplaced. They all still hold a good charge and are going strong...

When they come out of the charger, then they rest for a day...hence, cycling through 4.

you need more batteries

So many of us vapors have lowered our nic intake down to 3mg and I wonder what would happen if we THOUGHT we were vaping nic but there really was no nic in our juice. Maybe we aren't addicted physically but are addicted mentally. Just a thought.

I am down to 3 from 6, vape 0 at night and already planning to drop from 3 to 2 even though I have a ton of nic bunkered.

I have 30 (12 from first batch, 18 from 2nd batch, I cycle thru for 2 vapers in the house. I use most of them myself with all my single and triple battery mods in rotation.

Hello my lovely vape family,
I'm going to be taking a break from ecf due to family issues. Hopefully I will be able to pop in and check on things. If anything major happens can someone post to my pm box?
Thank you!
So sorry to hear that. Hope things will go smoothly and you can get back soon.
Yes, I'll will try to, I don't always get info right away, but I'm sure others will too.

All of my mods are single battery devices...
Mine are all single devices too, and just one vaper in the house. :)

@Fozzy71 Why would I need more batteries?

Nope. :D

:laugh::facepalm:

Well, maybe I shouldn't be doing what I do, so hold that phone call just in case you have two names to submit...BUT,
I check it with a pricier device, my ProVari , and when the battery in the REO drops, I swap it to the ProVari, then put a fresh one in the Reo.
Then, by the time the Reo needs another fresh one, I move the one out of the ProVari (usually at 3.4 or 3.5) to the charger.
That's how I've been cycling my batteries.
What do ya think? Okay, or no?
If you know what your battery voltage is on the Provari by percentage or number of bars, sure.

Does your battery charger give you voltage info?

The ProVari gives the output left on the battery by voltage.

nvmd, prolly same ratio. 7 of my 9 active devices are single battery mods.

edit: the other 2 are 3 battery mods taking up > half my battery supply of married triplets
That's what I was thinking. (you scared me for a minute ) Then I did the math and allowed for your married batteries...and said to myself...self...you're okay. :D
Thanks for looking out for me though, I honestly appreciate it. :)

Back in May I got rid of all my original 18650, 18350, and 14500 batteries which were between 5 and 6 years old. They all still held a charge, not for as long they did years ago, but still doing ok. They all had the lower amperage which wasn't usually a problem for what I vape at but I did have to pay attention to which I was using with different atty's so it was time to clean out the old stuff. :)

I think I've averaged one battery per year that I've gotten rid of because for some reason I questioned if it was still safe to use. Most recently I got rid of an 18650 because I left my Reo in the car while shopping and it was EXTREMELY hot when I got back to the car  Ya, I know, my stupid for leaving it in the car  My theory about batteries has always been- When in doubt, throw it out ! ;) I did get rid of a few batteries through the years because of torn wrappers. Now that I have wraps I just rewrap them and keep on using them :)

Currently have six 18650's in rotation and three 18350's in rotation. :)
