I think fear is involved here too, fear we will loose, fear will be stuck with these pods and nothing else. Everything is so unknown right now and our imaginations are running with the worst senarios. So we have to get tighter as a group so we don't have people jumping overboard! FEAR is the prime motivator for many folks. Some fear they'll not be able to get their nic fix, some fear they'll be stuck with a zillion gadgets, some fear they'll lose money. The latter is the part that bothers me.
Not that I'll lose money..LOL, what money could I lose?
But that some people are more concerned about losing their gold egg laying hen than about losing their rights.

I hate to think about all the open system manufacturers that could go belly up, some of the best we have used all these years or they could move to another country that is vape friendly like England to survive, but here in US it is getting tough for the industry.

So closed system mod pods with 50mg nic and their choice of flavor is going to be all the new rage. Yay! Can hardly wait for the taxes to get levied on those closed system so everybody can go back to paying their fair share again. This should help slow down all the smoking quitters and stabilize our economy. Yay again! This is kinda like a Charlie Sheen win, win. Guess with my stockpile I'll be out of style for a couple of decades....again.

From what I have seen they are all different, some closed pods you can't add juice, the Myjet you can, some I have no idea where the coil is but Myjet you replace the coil if I understand it right. So totally closed is a PITA, some that are modified pod types like Wimsec makes. Looks like a pod mod but with flexibility. I have no idea what it is like so have to try it to know.

I am a bit concerned that the pod mods won't make it through the pmta either. I think it will be the closed cigalikes from BT that will be available. Sure, modders will mod and we all know we can make things work but we are a small part of the equation. New people won't have a clue about hacking or how to refill or tweak something and many won't bother with it. I believe that is all the FDA is going for, along with state increased taxing.

I think it would be easier for any of us to mod a laser than to mess with modding the pods.

I agree with kross, I am looking out for me at this point while hoping for the best but without giant expectations.

Well the Mistic mod pod is a subohm device, has a 10 ml juice pod, so it is out there already. Not refillable, but I would try a small hole and put a small thumb screw in and try it! LOL Here is the Mistic, buy 2 get 1 free with code.

I suppose that's a fair comment.
I'll still sign and give my opinion but most of my focus will be put towards ensuring my own vaping future.

It's good that you continue to hold the same views as ever. I have done the same but I guess I am slightly selfish in regards to vaping. I would also say I'm becoming more apathetic towards the 'movement'

I don't think they expanded it to go to one particular supplier. And that's what's causing my broken link looking jumbled sentences with the word B A T T E R I E S. The B word is highlighted in red. If I click on it, it goes to vaping . com. Or tries to. That particular link isn't working. And just found the same thing in another post that hasn't been up very long.

EDIT: Oh wait. Did you mean "they" like the forum owners or "they" like this narcissistic company that thinks I give a rat's A about shopping with them?
