Oh my....where do you live.......the zoo? :p

Lol.. sounds like it doesn't it? But no, I live in the Appalachian mountains. They have been doing a lot of reintroduction of large wildlife around here lately.. But the bears and snakes (among other wildlife) have always been here. The reasonably new is the more mountain lions, the wolves, and the elk.

The Roughstack was my very first mod :) I don't have two full mods but I do have the extension so I can do either. I still have it and it still work  I had to replace the switch once but I still have another spare switch should I ever need to replace it. :)
My brother started vaping at the same time I did. He bought a RoughStack too. Problem is he insisted on dripping with a 306. You can't safely drip on a RoughStack. The switch is right there next to the 510 connection. He bought a spare switch. But, after he ruined the second switch, he got fed up and got rid of it.

Some people are so stubborn. It's like trying to use the wrong kind of screwdriver. Different tools are made for different things.

You pretty much said it. It's those outside of the vaping community with the most fear regarding every aspect of vaping. After 3 yrs my family still thinks vaping is smoking & wasn't too thrilled when I said I have nic in the freezer.

Lol.. I can see that! My family is about the same, and most of them smoke for goodness sake! Nicotine is bad.. cigarettes are good.. hahaha.. I'm vaping poison.. lol.. there is a lot of ignorance and you keep having to repeat the same stuff over and over until they finally get it..

It wasn't until recently when I made a Facebook post which compared the future of vaping to running shine that it finally sunk in to all of them it's not as bad as they thought..

:lol::lol: Yep, I always dripped back then, so that's what caused the problem with my switch too. Although either dripping or cartos was pretty much the only options at the time and I was never a big carto fan. I learned to be very careful with my dripping when using my Roughstack. ;)

But, the switch is so close to the 510 connection that you can't fit anything bigger than a carto on it anyway. So, that's all I use on it.

@retired1 - Have you ever been to Alaska? Or seen a Kodiak bear? They have 1 in a museum at the Univ. of Alaska in Fairbanks...8'+ tall standing on its hind legs!! Claws on that sucker looked to be about 6" long!

I go to Alaska about every 2-3 years, and I'm pretty sure that if I ever saw 1 of those in the wild while I was hiking, etc...I'd just die of a heart attack before it ever got to me!
:w00t:

If I'm out and about where there are critters bigger than me, you can bet I'm carrying an equalizer that permits me to retain the upper hand.

Yeah, I have a large deep freezer in the mud room, and it is where we keep meat and such, then we have the inside freezer..

I'm not buying another.. there is as much room as there is room, after that there simply is no room.

Turn in your vaper's card.
LOL!!! NEVER!!!!!

Honestly though, prior to deeming I kept saying I need to buy a freezer. Every time I grocery shop I overdo it. You should see me trying to make room to get all my meats to fit. And good grief.....it pains me to want something located all the way in the back! :|

I've been going through the same debate myself. I should have enough, but what if something unforeseen happens? An accident perhaps... I'm thinking a liter or two more than I think I need might be the way to go, just for insurance purposes. My problem is storage space! I'm not buying a freezer just to store nic in.

I have mine in Amber glass bottles (125mL) in ammo cans that are lined with paper towels and covered with clean hand towels. I'm keeping them in the basement (which tends to stay around 68° all year round. The Litres from MFS had been sitting in the box for about a month before I got to breaking them down. No real odor to the Nic and it wasn't really discolor end (a tad yellow - normal for Nic). This is my extreme reserve stuff for when I run out of everything else. lol. I've had premix (27mg) in my tackle box in the basement for about a year - it's still good. My 3L will last about 30 years if I stay at 3mg...40 if I drop to 2mg. I'd be between 67 and 77 years old. Maybe I'll get another L just to be safe. lol

A lot of people are scared of handling nicotine. I was going to start doing DIY a year ago and told my husband I was planning on it to save money.

To that he put his foot down (and yes he actually said,I'm putting my foot down, absolutely no you are not doing that..) because he is afraid of me handling nicotine. I shared with him articles about it being more safe in concentrations less than 100mg/ml, and my ability to be safe and use safely precautions, but it really terrified him that something could happen to me. He would rather buy juice any day of the week than to have me take a risk.

I think most people have that fear.. I daresay while there is a large diy community here, that attitude is not the prevailing one among vapors in general, for one reason or another.

The only reason he is letting me do it now is because he has the same worries I do about the future of vaping, and wants me to be able to continue to vape no matter what happens so long as I want or need to.
Lol! Exact same thing happened with my hubby. He had the same reactions and he agreed to let me buy it for the same reason.

So, to avoid him getting overly stressed about it I transferred all my nic into the smaller bottles when he was at work.

Just to let you guys knoe i wont be around much for tge next 2-3 months. Packing up to move then unpacking after moving up in the 4 corners area. About 70 miles from there. Still in AZ THOUGH.
4 corners is such a beautiful area. Dont envy you the move though.
