I got the pod mod myjet today. First impression small and light weight. Pods are refillable, coil looks to be easy to rebuild. Vape not too bad at first pretty warm vape, I did get some gurgling tho. Cons- I could not get the pod in! And when I did it was so tight it scrimmed off some plastic on the pod and it is not really a good fit between fill pod and coil, it pops off too easily when trying to get the pod in batt. Ack too cheaply built I am sorry to say because they have a good idea here but I would not recommend to a new vaper as they could end up with juice everywhere and get discouraged with it. I do like how small and light weight it is and if the pod was designed a bit better with better easier attachment to the batt it would be much better.

Those jade boxes looked really cool. I couldn't figure out if they were made of actual jade or some kind of resin. Somewhere on the page it said Jade Style. Doesn't really matter I guess if they look as good as the pictures.

I got one of the coil masters. Really glad I did.
IIRC this "style" of jade is like a faux resin. The authentics are somewhere in the $450-500 range.
I first came across the real deals in the HEM pic thread & obtaining one is harder than walking on water.
Most are sold via secret FB groups.

I assumed it was some resin or even sorta wrap for that price. I wonder what's inside it and if it works at least as well as a comparably priced "simple" mod.

When it is all said and done, its rather debatable if I've actually spent less on vaping then I would of smoking. Only time will tell. Like most of us I have stockpiled enough stuff to last a very long time.
LOL, This. After 7 years I don't think I've saved any money, however, aside from the health consequences, after 7 years of smokes, all I'd have is a large mountain of ashes and cigarette butts, instead of lots and lots of cool toys :) So, there's that.
I am definately not saving money thus far as I have spent a small fortune in the short time I have been vaping. I do have enough gear and NIC to last me decades, so my spending will definately mellow out moving forward.
I tell myself the same thing all the time, most especially after counting up how much I've spent in the past quarter... sometimes I even believe myself.

I have all my stuff from when I first started vaping over 7 years ago, so organization is a must for me.....and you wouldn't know that coming into the house. I have everything in roll around 4/5 drawer carts inside my walk in closet......and it's hardly noticeable because of the deep wall.....I do roll them out when working on something, but then they get rolled right back in out of sight from the grandbabies. I also have other deep closets in each of the other bedrooms, and I put less sensitive items in there! I just purchased a gigantic one in black from Wal-Mart for $25 and that sits inside the den closet and looks good......I actually have some empty space in there, and since I've been gifting a lot of the older gear, I'll have even more room.......oooh, lemme see.....is that tank compatible with 1-1.5Ω?

My problem is storage space! I'm not buying a freezer just to store nic in.

There's nic in there too but I wasn't going to buy a freezer strictly for nic.

No? No freezah? But you can put butter and chocolate in it! BUTTER! CHOCOLATE! (and nic, of course) Come on, we're talking about life essentials here! :D

Blue Lightning mod

DH, was that the sister mod to the GoldRush (MadVapes)? I adore those things!! Huge, but SO lightweight.

Those were so cool. I wanted, I wanted!

Past tense, past tense?

Oh my - I had a bunch of those when I started vaping.

Joye-510s-IMG_0299.jpg

Mike, I had the multi charger too. Way back then, with those little cigalikes running about 45 minutes, I kept two with me, and two on the charger. So, wherever I was, when my hour and half ran out, I had to trot home as quickly as pastable! (and no, I had ZERO klue that one should not charge unattended!) Ahhh, the wild days.

Good morning, all.

I found something interesting while going through the old stuff and I don't remember it at all. It is a 510 battery but appears to have a permanent long cartomizer attached. No way to recharge it and I am pretty sure it doesn't come off. The carto is different, the whole thing has an all in one look to it. Does anyone remember something like this? I hate when I can't remember the vintage stuff.

rosesense, I'm not sure if you got your answer, but you know where you might find it........ ;)

(What IS this??)

I wasn't a fan of the glv, worked hard to snag one and then found I didn't like that it had a rounded bottom. It rolled easily and couldn't be placed upright. I loved the colors though. Wasn't his name Jay who made those?

Yes, sure was Jay. For awhile he made matching flat battery cap/bases which are/were pretty neat!

Oh I loved that button :) Funny how we all like different things :) Yes Jay made them. I made a stand using glass tea light holders and just rested mine in there. I still use it, used crystal napkin holders for tanks to rest in. Just glued everything down on a glass plate.

LOVE to see that, brrkwest! And two snaps up on the button. OH that button! I wish every one of my mods had one like that!

You guys were busy this morning! I had to skim, 5 pages.

Anyone thinking my 200mg order from MFS was a good idea, it wasn't. Actually it may not be a good idea to order in general late at night while intoxicated, you may miss the DO NOT purchase this product unless you have been approved to do so.

They gave me store credit, I'll be re-ordering (2) 100 mg liters.

I spent the $$ I saved from not buying Robitussin, Sudafed & Tylenol on vape gear.
I used to get colds every year when I smoked and they always had lung involvement.
In the past 40 months I've only had the chills about 3 times they went away within an hour or two.
No real colds. Stuffy nose a couple of times but never lasted more than a couple of days.
I used to have a smokers hack every winter that usually lasted into early summer.

But, she disappeared for a while, then reappeared on the SI website doing tutorials for their 808 cigalikes.

That's the last I heard. But, I think she may still be posting. She was posting a year or so ago anyway.

I just loved her. Her and MIstress Nomad.

Me as well. I was a huge SJ fangoi. DH, was it in the SI website that you saw her posting a year (or so) ago?

Scandelex, that is where I got mine this morning.

Katdarling, thanks for the reminder, I may post a pic there and see if anyone remembers them.

It is funny how we like different buttons. Buttons have always been a make/break item for me. My favorite is on the Baby Bullet, same one is on the Bolt. I also like the one on the CF mod. Hated the button on the roughstack, made my thumb sore. Worst button of all time was on the saber touch. Got stuck firing and luckily it didn't explode.

I thought that was bit odd but assumed was a typo and didn't want to mention anything as I think talk of 100mg/l+ is against the rules. Glad they sorted it out properly.

FWIW most of my ordering was done late at night while drinking, makes it easier to not think about paying for it later.... also explains why I have way more tanks than I need and not enough mods.
