These sales today are killing me. I thought I was shopped out earlier in the weekend, but just had to use the 20% off at eciggity for another Merlin and some more drip tips (had to get an Abalone for my incoming efusion Duo). Now, really, I'm done. Seriously. No kidding. Except for the SS Pico in my FT basket. Maybe some more odds and ends there before finishing check out.

Then I'm done! Really.................

I think I'm done on the vape specific hardware after the FT orders arrive. I will probably keep re-stocking on some of my favorite liquids as long as they are available since they are kind of unique flavors, and I really like them.

I will need to get some fiber from Sally's. I noticed they had a bag with a 10-foot coil of rayon. How long would that last for building? I have enough other carp in this house, and would rather not get a big box if a 1-2 bags will last a while.

Why would you buy the Rayon? That will not be any different to buy with or without the new regulations.

If you're 30 years old or less, get the 3 lb box.

I need to get rayon because I've never done any DIY. I've ordered some RBA's to start learning on, but starting from scratch added a few more items to my list that the more experienced DIY folks already had.

There are plenty of people who have enough for three lifetimes, who are willing to send you some. In fact, you have probably already received an offer or so. I have a small storage bag that is half empty after a year or more.

California just put a 70% tax on the ballot for November (no mention of that in here just barely mentions it and highlights the $2 per pack cig tax) Cigarette tax initiative qualifies for November ballot, setting off expensive opposition campaign by tobacco industry

Not even a mention of that document of the 21 year old requirement in California and I can barely find anything about it in these forums even!

What makes that Ballot Initiative particularly Troubling is that it applies to "Tobacco Products". And not to just Cigarettes. So, if passed, e-Liquids would be Taxed at a Equivalent Rate as to a Pack of Cigarettes. Because e-Liquids are considered a Tobacco Product under California Law.

But here's the Rub... What is a Equivalent Rate of for e-Liquids to a Pack of Cigarettes?

Some might not have Vaped long enough to remember that when e-Cigarettes started to become more mainstream, many Retailers Hyped their .8ml pre-filled Cartos as being Equivalent to a pack of Cigarettes.

This May come back to Haunt California Vaper's BIG TIME.

All the FDA stuff aside. If someone lives in People's Republic of Kalfornia, this Ballot Initiative alone should be enough to get a California vaper to stock up on Nicotine Base.

Some states have been enacting silly laws, we really have no idea how fast things will change after 8-8 once all vape products are deemed tobacco. That's why states are just as bad or worse than FDA, if they say no online purchases and all of the B&M's close shop because of FDA, then what? No where to buy during that 2 year period after 8-8

Once deemed tobacco, they will be treated as such. Just look at your states current tobacco laws and apply.

E-cig market is a $3.7 Billion dollar/year market, big e-cig companies aren't going anywhere. There will be juice and devices available.

I got 3 ft of Rayon from origin Vapes for $.99, figured I'd try it before buying a box :)
The Sally's bag is 10 feet for 2 bucks, plus I need to make a trip for some of their branded hair products for the fiber I have on my head.

But here's the Rub... What is a Equivalent Rate of for e-Liquids to a Pack of Cigarettes?
It's based on 1ml on a state by state basis from my understanding. Yes 1ml !
I think Illinois is the highest atm if I recall.

1ml is the equivalent pack of smokes. Time to up the nic levels for sure.

Nah, it's a percentage of the price of the item so a pack of cigs costs $5 and with my state's 90% tax they cost around $10 to buy. It will be the same with e-juice and cartridges. I currently pay $10 for a bottle of ejuice that lasts me a week. After the tax it will cost me around $20 per week.

Is this from something you have Read outside the ECF? Or is this something that One Particular member here has been Posting without any supporting Information?

If you have any information on California, I would Love to see it.

But will the products available be all closed units for $20 for a disposable, that is my concern. The FDA does not seem to like open tank.

Are you talking about California? Or the State you live in?

BTW - What state do you live in?

How many of them are big enough to be able to invest the millions of dollars needed to prepare PMTAs? And even if they have the money to do that, are they willing to do that when there's no assurance they their applications will be approved?
