Whether or not this whole thing goes down as horribly as we are imagining, this has done me a favor, of sorts. I wasn't interested in building coils, even though I was resenting ordering replacement coils every so often. So now, I have been forced into a new direction, and I am pleasantly surprised. I learned the Kayfun has much better flavor and more vapor than the nautilus without sacrificing my MTL preference. I learned I can build a decent coil fairly easily, saving money and also knowing a new coil is just a few minutes away, and I don't have to depend on anyone else to get it.

It's been said here before, but I'll say it again. Even if the products we like are still available after this August and after 2018, I believe the tax issues will raise the prices, maybe considerably. So I have no issue at all with gathering things I will need in the future. My biggest problem with this mess is the future of those who really want/need to get away from tobacco. That hurts me to the core.

Wow. All your vaping laws across the different states are crazy. Here in the uk nobody really bats an eyelid. I guess we're somewhat lucky I guess. No vaping outdoors in Utah!
Is that also one of the states you can buy weed in?

Is there anywhere that vaping is more hush hush than weed?
These are weird times.

I certainly don't want to argue on a site that is mostly Americans. But guns are allowed and vaping is not.
I shed a tear for you guys. Just one. More cinematic :pop:

Yep, I was wrong. They're just imposing an 86% tax on wholesale vaping goods, banning vaping below the age of 21, and no online vaping sales allowed. :w00t:

That's why you have no vaping signs just about everywhere now, right?

No vaping outdoors in Utah!
Hyperbole.

Is that also one of the states you can buy :censored: in?
It would seem you're unfamiliar with the political atmosphere in Utah, which is heavily influenced by members of the LDS.

I am sorry Rossum. A mistake to have said something of which I know nothing about.

I have no idea what signs you are talking about. If there are any I can't see them through my haze.

I just repeated what another member had stated. He clarified and so no state of emergency is required.

I also have no idea what LDS is. I will not click your link because I could not care less.

Once again, excuse me. I will refrain from interjecting with useless comments. No offence meant.

This was where I got the 62-69% numbers from. That $1.01 cents per pack thing says it's a federal tax on cigarettes so I doubt that's how it would be applied at the state level. If it was $1.01/ml that would be a lot more than 69% and notblowingsmoke would be stating that. $1.01/ml is probably a federal bill we're all going to be fighting together down the road...

Lol, I can get drunk and carry around a gun, cigarette hanging out of my mouth. But vaping is harmful and dangerous! Well, we know who vaping is bad for and it's not the people.

I take it that it Didn't Pass?
No,it got shot down pretty quick.I'm sure it will probably be coming up again soon though.I can't remember the exact numbers they were trying to put on it,but it came out to ridiculous amounts. If it passed,i believe it was said that a 30ml bottle of juice would have been roughly $70 after the taxes were added, but luckily it didn't make it anywhere,at least not yet.

I'm getting really close on mods and tanks. I just grabbed 2 more VTC minis and 2 Cloupor mini 50W from FT. My wife and I have a total of 8 Picos, 4 VTCs, and 3 Cloupors. I have enough tanks and array of interchangeable parts to supply a small vape meet. lol. I have 4 nimbus and 4 IGO drippers along with 4 good mechs.

I also have a small arsenal of Isticks with fixed batteries that can be used until their inevitable battery death. And deep in a closet I have some vamos, SIDs, and Zmaxes that all work but I much prefer box style stuff.

My final nic order is sorted out. I'm just waiting a bit before finalizing. I have a hunch that some nic could go on special sales later this month. Could be wrong but don't care either way. I'm sure Nude and VT will not change prices ever but they are both in my final order list.

LDS is the church of Latter Day Saints. Or Mormons, if that sounds more familiar. They teach what they perceive to be the most healthy lifestyle, veganism. No animal products in their foods (no meat, no eggs, no cheese, no milk), clothing and body products, no caffeine, no nicotine.

Glad 3mgMeniere corrected me. I was thinking of Seventh Day Adventists, sorry!

I am D.O.N.E. DONE with my hoarding. Last night's FT order (thanks to the advisement the sale has begun) is my last for the stockpile. I went ahead and made my last mod order the Council of Vapor Tempest 3/18650. I'm glad I did; it was a bit of a splurge and I have a feeling it will end up in a non-stockpile rotation anyway. :)

Moving over to RTAs has been one of the best vaping decisions I've made since I started vaping. IMO the flavor and vapor I'm getting at 35-40 watts beats anything I've ever gotten out of a prebuilt coil. I know not everyone is capable of building so this is not a judgment against them; I am by far NOT an "elitist vaper" and the only thing that matters is that we smoke less or quit smoking.

But if I could speak to those who are hesitant to try their hand at building RTAs: it is not rocket science and as long as you know the safety parameters of your battery and device, you can do it.

Anyway, I'm glad the hoarding is done. Now it's time to build the bank account back up to pre-hoarding levels and help out others in the process of preparing. Even if it's all for naught, I'm good to go for about ten years.

No, they are not vegans, and their scriptures do not prohibit caffeine. Word of Wisdom - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
