I was wondering about putting some type of silicone sleeve over the glass incase of a drop but I am having a hard time finding anything. I'm looking for silicone sleeves for tube mods too, anyone know a source ?

I've got these vape bands from Amazon on my triton mini's. The fat ones cover about half the glass. If you search around, you might find other sizes. I think they might be tight on a Melo 3 from a Pico. I put some My Vapor Store bands on the Melo (If you order a minimum amount, you can get one free)

If you want simple steel tank a KF 5 clone might work (also comes with glass if you prefer) as it is "airier" than earlier KFs although single coil only.

They make a MTL kit for the Kayfun 5. Origin Vape has them. I got one to go with my new tank, but I haven't opened the tank or the kit yet.

1 gallon (=3.78 liters) 100mg nic shipped $139.21, I have the glass bottles+2 more liters of nic ,a lot of wire, several lifetimes of Rayon.. technically I now have lifetime of everything except 'as needed items': batteries, vg/pg, flavors. biggest struggle I see going forward is avoiding 'shinyitis'.. it flared up recently and hit me for 2 Pico's, 2 Griffin clones, 2 Oni mechs.
    DIY E-Liquid Nicotine 1 Gal.
    What I am looking for:
I like the Griffin style,, but I really worry about breaking that glass,, I either want a another tank with more metal on the outside/all metal. or I am going to have to buy several replacement glass pieces.

I love my SXK,, for my Pico or tasting flavors,, but not for all day as she is a 'drinker' ;)

my topbox is ok,, but I like bigger decks to build on.

rebuildable and topfill are a must have for me.

I tend to vape .20-.70 @ 15-25w (oddly I had a pretty good vape on the Pico w SXK at 10w/.45o,,,lets not call that my norm)

    any ideas?

This looks like the best price I've seen for nic solution in my quick scramble around on the forums. This a good place to order?

I got the link from Mike,, & I ordered today for the first time.
ps,, it appears they ship fedex,, I didn't notice that until they sent the confirmation email. (in my case that means I have to worry about it getting dropped off at my door and me not being home)

Anyone else clear their shopping carts at the last minute before pulling the trigger on orders with promo codes today? :)

I had about $50 of assorted Kayfun and Subtank parts in my Fasttech cart and decided at the last minute that I am really just stocking up to stock up if that makes sense. I have dozens of tanks, well over a dozen mods and tons of parts I will need to keep me vaping for many many years. I think I am finally finally done.:)

Anyone else starting to think they are now stocking up for long after you won't be around to use this stuff?:D

Apropos of nothing in particular, I've got about 900 Boge cartos; the GOOD ONES before they ruined 'em, right before ceasing manufacture. OTOH my mechs from the same era, are still in daily (or weekly) rotation.

I'm shooting for 4L of nic by the end of the month. Right now I vape at 24 mg, and tootle about 3 ml a day. Assuming I continue to use a 24 mg mix at 3 ml a day, that should hold me for ~14 years. Of course if things got really bad, I'd probably cut back to 12 mg, which would extend my supply to 28 years. If I'm still alive 28 years from now, one, I'll be happily surprised, and two, going through awful withdrawal.
    Love this!
I'm in the same boat, 24mg, but about 5 to 6 mls/day. Have a little over 4 liters, so I'm good for ~9 or 10 yrs. But I'm 64 now. Don't know if they'll let me bring my nic to the old folks home...:D

July and beyond are still going to be a big purchasing months for me. I only started vaping in Sept of 2015, and I started very slow. It's only been the last few months that I've been able to spend at least $300 to $500 per month for stock. I've just been going along slowly. The part time job that I have does not allow for the purchases I thought that I would be able to make. Nonetheless I have a really nice collection of products. I'm really happy b/c I can use these goods NOW.

There were shortages when I went to order over the last week or so. Some retailers were out of stock on items that I really wanted plus, I just didn't have the cash I wanted to spend(1ga+ of Nude Nicotine Armor v2 plus gallon freezer bags, 5 - Kayfun v5 RTAs, 2 more RX200s mods, 1 or 2 - BC Box Mods or HexOhm Mods, a decent scale, 6 batteries, DIY flavors, ... ), so these goods are on a wait list. Also, I did not find Paypal credit accepted at a few of the online sites that I wanted to order from(Nude Nicotine for one), they only accept credit cards from Visa and Mastercard.

Today I decided that I had better step up my game for when products are available or are back in stock, and I applied for and rcvd a $1,000 credit for vape purchases. I plan to buy what I need ASAP, and not buy goods spread out over the next 6 months just in case goods are pulled.

I remain hopeful for ppl who are not on ECF and do not know what is coming if the Bills are not passed and cases are not litigated in our favor, but I feel the need to be ready for everything coming my way.

Damn the torpedoes. Full speed ahead.

right now i live in a small condo,, but i want to go even smaller to a boat and sail/motor away.......(not next week lol),,,,,,,so part of my vape planning includes another lifestyle down the road.

    Sounds like a GREAT plan!
I was thinking the same a few years back, but it never panned out.:(

But just think: If the laws where you are become a bit too onerous you can just sail away to the next spot!:)

Nope. I haven't had the money to stock all at once. So, I'm constantly having to figure out what is the next most important thing I need. A few dollars here. A few dollars there.

I may have gotten a tad more nic than necessary. Not sure.

I bought my last mod today. It's one I've been meaning to buy for a while. There are others that I'ld like to have. But, that's the last one for my pre-deeming stock up. In a year or so, if they're still available, I may buy more.

But, the only real excess I have is 4 and 5 year old stuff that I never bothered to get rid of. Might as well hold on to it just in case. I can always throw it out later if I don't need it.

The next thing on my list is getting a couple of REOs fixed and getting spare parts for mods. I think that will be the end of the essentials. Although I wouldn't mind a couple of spare BF atties for my LP REOs. I only have a couple.

Aside from that, collecting information is the most important thing now. Dowloading coil-building videos. Saving information that my disappear from the net. Although it probably won't. It doesn't cost anything. So, why not?

Just keep stocking, those of us that can't get 10 years worth of stuff before Aug 8th may be looking to take some of it off your hands. ;) I really dread the thought of going back to my Vamo, VTR, and pro tanks... and then sucking the last life out of ego's and random old clearo's. Nic shouldn't be a problem by the quick calc I just did if I get a 1 gallon jug of 100mg/ml vaping 6mg that's 17+ years for me.

It's parts I'm worried about not being able to properly stock. And I just ordered 3 mods and a whole bunch of random RTA's and build components/tools I don't even know how to use yet.

Agree 100%. Money doesn't grow on any trees that we have around here. We will get by. :thumb:

Also, I'm going to get to work on saving videos, just like you said, they may not be here in a year.

I feel pretty good now, I could always buy more stuff, but I feel I have it covered pretty well now.
Read on another stock up thread that PayPal contacted a vendor about not being allowed to use PayPal for vape items now that they are deemed tobacco, yikes what about fast track ?
Will CC's allow tobacco purchases??? I know I couldn't for cigarettes way back when I smoked. Geez things could get rough pretty quickly.

If your budget is limited, I would prioritize:

    #1- Nic base
    #2- More Nic base
#3- Do you have enough nic base?

Because I strongly suspect that everything else, hardware-related, will for the most part, continue being available for the next 2 years, and even past that. There may be shortages, it may take a while to order, but really, the USA (and every other country on Earth for that matter) is incapable of keeping hundreds of tons of schedule 1 drugs out of the country... I just don't see them succeeding in intercepting packages from fasttech, or hundreds of other companies spread around the world, who sell hardware. For that matter I don't even see them succeeding with nicotine; labs in China are more than happy to sell you nic, and label the pkg and manifest as anything you want, "This is NOT the nicotine you're looking for. Contains 100% PG!" How do I know this? Because if you order anything with a US address they'll leave you a helpful note stating this. They don't care, they have no consequences for doing so. Of course, you probably don't want nic from China ;-)

Yes, after August 8th everything becomes a tobacco product (and you're gonna enforce this how exactly? It would require an infinite budget that you don't have), but in actuality is means the states will pile in and make nic and juice either unavailable, or taxed through the roof. If you've got nicotine, then finding devices to use it with, will never be impossible.

These are only my opinions of course, and yes I've stocked up on *everything* down to wick and wire, because I just don't want to deal with it moving forward. But if your budget is limited, go for the nic first, that's gonna be the big one.
