I've looked at my stocking up this way:

1) It's a personal investment for me! I'm all for finding deals now and saving money in the longrun. Buying things readily available now, and at great sale prices for the most part...will save me more $$ later! It not only protects me from the normal inflation of prices, but...also from having to wonder IF things I use now (and plan to use in the future) will even be available then! You know the old "supply and demand" pricing game vendors will undoubtedly play in the future, on any of the vaping things that MAY still be available later.

2) Being single, it's no one's business but mine how much I spend, and on what!

3) I never want to be faced with going back to cigarettes as my only option for my nic fix and dealing with my hand-to-mouth habit! With what I've got now, and at my age...that'll never be a decision I'll be faced with!

4) I LOVE vaping! It's my only habit that not only provides me with much enjoyment, but also keeps me healthier than I'd be if I was still smoking instead!

5) My peace of mind knowing that I'm prepared is priceless to me! Everything will eventually be used, (either by me or by others I can help out), so no expenditure I make now will be wasted money IMO.

What on earth are people thinking when they suggest this? I was shocked when my sister suggested I could just quit. She is an ex-smoker who has substituted eating for smoking, she knows. And she knows me. She may as well suggest Niagara Falls to stop falling.
LOL! My hubby is an ex Smoker cold turkey type, thinks vaping is weak. But he did say he understands I am not ready to quit and he loves that I don't smoke so he now stays quiet even tho he may not totaly understand :)

Is anyone else getting partner aggro over all of this stocking up? Mine went with me to buy the new freezer, which he wanted for food anyway. No complaints. He listened to me babble on about nicotine handling procedures and sat quietly while I spent a few hours bottling nicotine. Packages have been trickling in daily for weeks and he made a few comments. Then today FIVE packages arrived all at once. Two from Fast Tech, one from Provape and 2 from ebay sellers. He beat me to the mail and I got "The face" as he stood there with an armload of packages. All's I said is "you'll thank me when you can't get any of this in the future."

LOL if the dark ages/heavy taxation doesn't end up happening I am going to be teased FOREVER about this

Mine is driving me nuts with being wishy washy. I'm a doer and he likes to ponder. Agrees we need to stock up but has no idea what to buy because he's too new to it. I think that's where the problem lies.

The 4th sales weren't phenomenal, but I was happy to get a discount on what I ordered. It looked like I was going to get everything I wanted except one thing. My birthday is at the end of the month, so I told hubby that I wanted that one last mod. I believe I have everything I need to vape the rest of my life. Now, I will just enjoy the vape mail over the next month! I don't have to worry about the dOOming regs or whatever Georgia is going to do.

So yes, I am done! :thumb::banana::rickroll:

@DebiK - I'm finally done, too! Just gotta wait for my last 8 packages to come with purchases I've made the last 5 days.

All that'll be left for me to do is to split up the nic for freezer storage and to organize/store the mods, tanks, RBAs, RDAs, premade coils, pieces & parts, etc. that make up my stash. :)

stuck in a squishy pod called my brain
Time for DIY, I have 5 gallons of 100mg nic coming my way which will be way more than a lifetime's worth plus some extra to make some juice for my friends, once I learn how :)
I am so glad we are real good friends! ;):toast::banana:

@johnny hotsauce - 5 gallons of 100mg Nic??? Yowza! I think that's the most I've heard anyone is stashing! Yeah, I'd say you're prepared with nic for a loooooooong time to come. :D
Go big or go home right? LOL

I kept asking myself after the first 2.5 gallons, do I really need 2.5 more?? BUTTTTTTTTTT it's on sale at 20% off!! Next thing I knew it somehow made it into my cart and I ended up in checkout before I knew it and some devil inside pressed the confirm order button... Damn devil!! :D

Actually, I have a few friends that are still in denial that these regs are going to stick around so I sort of over ordered with the intent of selling them (most likely at cost) some of my stash down the road once they wake up and see reality.

Worst case, I over spent by $300ish and I've bought more foolish things in the past for more money so I'll regret this purchase less than others I've made plus I'm sure I'll have no problem unloading nic in the future if I really needed to.

Now to learn how to master juice making!!! Once I get that right, I'm sure my local B&M's that I frequent like Norm from cheers might miss seeing me at the end of their tasting bars ;)

I thought the 4th of July sales would be a bit better too, the gear I did pick up on was on clearance versus a sale but the sale led me to it :) Most all of my stockpiling has been greatly reduced clearance items from online vendors with the exception of fasttech where I mainly purchased replacement parts.
I have been done stockpiling for a while as I did not need all that much but if I can pick up some favorites on the cheap I will take advantage of that! :w00t:

Now to learn how to master juice making!!!

I can't say I've "mastered" juice making, yet. But I've only been DIY since January of this year. So far, I've never had a "dud" that I've flushed or poured down the drain! Has surprised me that I even have local friends who try eliquids I've made and then have me make it for them. Several recipes I've made and then reluctantly posted here on the ECF for others, have been made & liked, too. Have also worked in PM with several ECFers new to DIY, to help teach them the basics, too! (Guess I can't quit being a teacher even though I retired from it 12 years ago!)

So, don't think you have to be a master...to stop buying premade juice and start enjoying your own! You might surprise yourself like I did! It's really not as hard as many think it is...to make great-tasting, perfectly vapable, custom-made, eliquids yourself! Just give it a try!

I'll admit that my stockpile looks very large but it is for 3 people ( one who vapes heavily at high strength). I simplified things by only buying Provari 2.5s on special and have no other brands of mods. At first I bought 10 Kayfun lite V2 attys and some spare parts. Then I decided to get a bunch of iclear 30s tanks because all three of us love them on the provaris. I think I got 10 of those.

Everything is so much cheaper from Fast Tech and I don't mind waiting since they are just for the stockpile. Then I noticed that the coils for the iclears is only about $1 a piece. I used to pay $3 a piece for crappy coils that last me 4-5 days from my local store. The iclear coils seem to be lasting more than 2 weeks so at $1 a pop I'll save alot of money over going to the local vape shop. I ordered 40 coils so all three of us have few months of using what we're familiar with before moving on to the Kayfuns. Keeping three people supplied with coils that are properly wicked ( they have no desire to learn) will be a pita and I am not looking forward to it really.

I think I am done with hardware now except for one more Provari order when my 500 points become usable. I am hoping I have us covered for 10 years at least.

I'm still nervous about nicotine. I feel like I should buy another gallon. It's likely that I will before august. Then I am DONE!
