Stocking up what? I'm about to put a HUGE order in with house of liquids tobacco juices if thats what your talking about

FDA issued their deeming regulations that if companies do not pay $ millions to go through the PMTA process go get anything vaping related through the FDA by August 8, 2016 about 99% of gear will be gone.

The stuff available in 2007 will grandfathered in. Everything after THR predicate date will be pulled from the market unless that mod, Tank, RDA, RTA is going through the PMTA those will have till 8/8/2019 to pass the PMTA.

So we are talking about stockpiling everything that may be pulled from the market.

Here ARE things likely to be unavailable soon, and listed in the order of importance.

1
Liters of 100 mg/ml nicotine base and stores in a freezer. The number of liters depends on your nicotine usage, and the number of years you want to prep for.

2
Spare mods that use replaceable 18650 batteries.

3
Rebuildable Atomizers like RDA or RTAs

4
Flavors so you can DIY your eJuice.

5. You may want 100-200 feet of resistance wire for coils. I have between 500-600 feet of wire

If you plan to prep it is essential you learn to rebuild and DIY your juice.

No need to prep Vegetable glycerin, Propylene Glycol, 18650 batteries, cotton for wicks etc

About 4 months ago i spelled out how an Investment of $500 could get three liters of nicotine, three backup mods, spare Atomizers, and flavors so a person could vape for YEARS. Back then we could catch nicotine base on sale sometimes as cheaply as $25 a liter now if you catch a sale it is $35-45 a liter

Hope this helps.

Forgot some States are hiking sin taxes, trying to ban online sales of vape gear, and other dirty tricks

If you really want to get away from the cancer sticks prep or be prepared to use whatever big Tobacco or Big Pharma issues for the public consumption

@Two_Bears - Based on his comment below, in another discussion that he and I were both in...I think it's the reason Nayngnottz94 isn't familiar with the FDA and the need for us to stockpile.

He'd mentioned sending a sample of an eliquid he really likes to another member, then posted this: "*Edit* damn just realised you are in the USA, postage would cost a bomb!"

Thanks for the heads up.

However being prepared just in case is never a bad idea.

both, it is very real and people are quite scared by the ramifications. I spent a few grand this summer stocking up for the next 20 years and plan to spend another grand or two at least between now and Aug 8th 2018.

IMO, it's not so much fear causing people to stockpile for the future, but having foresight. It probably started for most of us, with being totally PO at what the FDA and many states have proposed and are doing. That led to making sure that no matter what both of those do...we can/will vape for as long as we want and as much as we want. Just my opinion on stockpiling though, from my own perspective.

EDIT: Also, the amount of $$ people are spending for their "stash" varies a lot. It's dependent upon many factors, a few of which are probably: How long they've been vaping, which means the amount of stuff they already had is most likely different; how long they plan to vape in the future; their Nic mg they plan to vape; do they vape unflavored or flavored eliquids, etc.

Some people have said they've spent in the hundreds of dollars, feel comfortable with that, and are finished. Others have spent in the thousands, and are done. Still others spent that amount, and aren't done yet. It's all about one's comfort level with what they've "stockpiled" in their stash, and the probable availability of some items even in the future (ie. PG, VG, batteries, etc.).

@Nayngnottz94 - Based on comments in that other discussion we were both in, here's something that you might relate to. Let's suppose some governmental group in your country was proposing restricting, banning, and/or outrageously taxing all liquor products, but especially JD. Wouldn't you figure out how many bottles of Jack you'd need for the longterm future, based upon your current consumption, and stockpile many bottles of it? Wouldn't be out of fear, but looking out for your own ability to enjoy something that you really like...longterm.

I kinda caught a "BF bug" so now I have a bunch of different mods and BF RDA's on the way to compliment my stable.

Funny really, I had ventured into just about everything else I could think of in regards to vaping I thought I might be interested in long before. Somehow I missed this one.

(then again it seems lately everyone is releasing inexpensive Squonkers)
I did the same thing!

Starter mods then high wattage mods then Provaris then rebuildable tanks then mechs... squonking was the only thing I hadn't tried. I bought a used REO cheap in the classifieds, ordered two Coppervapes as well as a cheap Pico Squeeze. NOW I think I have covered all of the vaping bases. :thumb:

@Nayngnottz94 - The FDA garbage only applies to the US. However, it would also affect foreigners who vape and come to the US for a visit or longer term stay. Their ability to buy eliquid, vaping related supplies, replacement mods, tanks, etc. while they're here...will all be affected if the FDA and many states get their way. Along with many of the FDA proposed things...many states, cities, etc. are also passing strict regulations/laws about where people can/can't vape. Tourists would also have to abide by those. It's a slippery slope we're on here in the US.

Its Absolutely real.

Washington state made it a felony to bring in ejuice from another state.

Burbank, CA made it illegal to vape OUT DOORS.

Pennsylvania added a 40% tax

New York tried to tax 2 ml of ejuice as heavily as i pack of Cigarettes

Then the FDA set the predicate date for the year 2007. All ejuice, attys, and mods have to go through the PMTA to be aporoved.

THR congress is working on two bills to set the predicate date to 2016.

They are HR2058 in the house of representatives, and the Cole Bishop ammendment.

This is Absolutely real and unless tge congress or senate or The President doesnt stop the deeming regulations 99% of vape gear in the US will be pulled off the market

There has already been companies that makes gear or ejuice that have already closed their business.

I wish they could say I was joking but that would be a lie.

LOL funny how these things progress in a similar way.

First it was the Wrath and then alternate BF RDA's for it then a mod with USB charging was added. Since both the TC/Regulated MOD's are fairly large and heavy a Pico Squeeze and a CV was added along with different BF RDA's to compliment them. In the end: 4 mods, 6 RDA's (not counting the ones that came in the "kit") and a few conversion kits+parts from Fatdaddyvapes just for fun.

    I don't OCD much really.

Now the fun starts while waiting on those slow boats from China to arrive.

Forgot to mention there have been reports of Canadians buying ejuice. Caught by Customs and many reported their Juice being confiscated

Tanks used to hold 5+ mls of eliquid with The TPP (Trans Pacific Partnership agreement tanks and RTAs can only legally hold 2 ml of Juice.

It's illegal to have ejuice or NIC shipped into Canada. Bringing a reasonable amount across the border via air or car on your person is fine. Hardware and DIY supplies, coils, wire, etc. from out of country are no problem.

Canada and the provinces are all working on vaping laws/taxation, but as of now it isn't really legal but tolerated. Vape shops everywhere, but it really is still the "Wild West" here.
