Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
i have noticed most products drop about 50% in 6 months to a year of first release. i am waiting until the pico drops to around $10 since their usb ports are so weak before i order anymore..(if i ever do)

Very smart shopping , prices will drop substantially in most cases .

i have 2 orders from FT lost in the mail somewhere......from Nov 17+22
USPS is looking for 1 and we are trying to figure out why my 2nd one was shipped via Singapore ..........no idea where it went.

I have a couple from November 21 still out (and a couple from beginning of Dec) but I pretty much expected orders from this period to be super slow. I've never *not* received a FT order; they're actually batting better than Amazon on successful deliveries, though (obviously) not on speed.

I sure do miss vape mail but I don't need anything else at all. I've quit looking through my gear just to make sure there's no weak points I've overlooked and I delete all vendor's sale emails without even opening them. Next month will mark 2 straight years of using the same REO and VA Cyclone daily without an issue(except for a squonk bottle I finally squonked a hole in and had to replace from the parts stash). I know intellectually that I'm set for life but it's unsettling at times to think that what I've got on hand is what I'll rely on for the rest of my life. But....not unsettling enough for me to feel that I need any more. I guess I'm just going to miss what it used to be like.

I don't think I've ever gotten anything sooner then 4 weeks if send via Singapore so i expect that package will show up in the next 2 weeks. As far as the other one goes, as others have said, its the busy season so patience is your friend:)

Same here :) I do miss vape mail and part of me does miss looking for new stuff and deals but I've stopped checking my gear and looking at websites to see what's out there. I still check on this thread because after all these months I now consider so many of you friends and I do still care how you are all doing. For the first time in over 6 years I have no list of what I want or need in the future, which for a list maker like me, is quite amazing  :D :p We'll see if there's anything to put on list when I get back from Florida in the spring, although some how at this point I doubt it.

So, the thing about stocking up ... I just want to vent my anxieties about this. Well, okay, I'm in Greece, and I don't think the Greek government has any ideas for big draconian efforts against vaping (we're still a place where even smoking is not actually such a major big deal, and people here aren't judgmental about vaping) BUT we're in the EU so if overall EU regulations smack down purchases, we'll have to abide by that.

The thing is, my freezer is big enough for a few ice cube trays and my dog's frozen chicken breasts (a couple at a time), and maybe a bag or two of frozen veg. There is NOWHERE in my flat for a standalone freezer, even a small one. I've looked and looked. It's a small apartment (by US standards; by European standards --esp downtown in a big city-- it's fairly spacious).

So. No storing nicotine in the freezer. Or the fridge, also small. I'm going to have about dozen 18650 boxes, but I have only a couple of rebuildable tanks because I really just like nauti minis (and similar) right now. I also think that because we have so many independent creators making high quality atties and mechs here, we'll be able to find those through contacts if we need to. Possibly overoptimistic there, but anyway.

DIY juice, I'm totally cool with, in terms of being able to do it. I could go all DIY right now, no problem. If flavor concentrates became much more expensive, I could still make my basic must-have stuff with ~20 flavors. Half of that if totally necessary. But if I couldn't acquire any nic at all, I'd probably go back to smoking. It's only a bit for me (3mg), but it's a critical bit.

So basically, I'm jealous of your big North American freezers (/euphemism :)), but I'm also feeling like I'm not doing enough to stock for the vape-dystopian future. If things become so crazy here (which I'm betting against), I'll probably just start smoking again.

I am going to stock up on Kanger coils and look into some other equipment. I buy in bulk now 25-50 coil orders but think I am going to do a few hundred this time.
Not planning on stopping my vape habit and don't want to pay the coming tariffs. Not to mention that the subsidized shipping from China will surely be coming to an end also.

I know that I need vaping in the manner that I enjoy doing it to ensure I'll never smoke again. I refused to be caught with my britches down on this one.
Absolutely!

That was why i was on the drum beat of prep prep prep for more than a year.

I had hoped for tge house and senate would do the right thing on HR2058, or Cole Bishop ammendment but i made darn sure i prepped just in case they didn't do the right thing.

(per google) i live in a small condo ..62 sq meters..and i could get by easy on 40 sq meters.. my nic is in a upright bottom freezer of a modern refrigerator....but my point is to think of all the dif styles of freezers and how you could place them in nontraditional places in your home if thats all it take to have the size you need. ie.. in America our ancestors (re: parents/grandparents lol) thought we needed a dining room........i dont need that room and it would be pretty easy to turn it into a sleeping area if need be.

so a tiny chest freezer may need to also be a side table or something. (if the nic is in glass,, i wouldnt worry too much about it at room temp for a few years un-opened)

Haven't posted in months because I haven't bought a single thing vape related since age verification went into effect.

A little feedback on gear durability. My wife and I have been using the same pico's, vtc minis, and sig 90's since summer. Not a single issue. I have 7 months of a PC kayfun tank and the threads are still fine. I have somewhere around 100 in stock. If each one lasts 8 months there's a good chance we'll both be dead before we need more. I still plan on buying some stuff eventually but my vape life has been on autopilot.

I have 13-14 months on my first acrylic bell cap for Kayfun.

I used it for 10 months day in day out on a Monster v3 base. I started missing Mouth To Lung vaping. Put the Lite Plus v2 base under the bell cap and the little guy is still trucking.

You can see my Compact Kayfun in my avatar.

It's funny how easy it can be for some folks to just settle into a rig and never have the need for anything else. I have a variety of tanks/drippers for any type of draw but a simple KFL base (drilled out just a little) and a 34mm orchid poly tank is just that good for me. I love the 6ml capacity. I'm good at wicking it for no leaks when top filling (just need to fill when almost empty and no gurgles). Flavor is fantastic. I literally have over 20 bases and a mountain of replacement tanks.

The one drawback is it's not good for jeans pockets. Too much pressure sideways on the tank can pop the top cap off every once in a while. Doesn't break the tank or strip the threads though but a mess nonetheless. I use a KF V3+ when out of the house and walking around. I've been using the same V3+ for 6 months and haven't had to replace a single part.

I stopped chasing gear well before the deeming came into effect. Autopilot became too comfortable and I never once felt like I was missing anything. The stock up prior to the deeming stressed me out a lot. I hated it. But every time I look at my gear box I just smile with zero worries. I switched my wife to KFL's this past summer. At first she didn't like not being able to pop a new stock coil in every week but I pledged to re-wick/re-coil anytime. She just leaves tanks on my desk and I fix them right up. Happy wife happy life!

If i could get spare chimneys, bell caps, and Silverplay Nano bases that us all i would ever use. But NO clone or authentic parts available so a Compact Kayfun works for me

I can get bases, bellcaps, O Rings, screws so i vape a Kayfun
