Yepper ... one of those 510 cig-a-likes lasted me maybe an hour of vaping ... so had to have plently in reserve and constantly recharging them. But they started me on the path to vaping and it's over 5 years since I've smoked. So they were a 'good thing'.

Just like the hubby comes home from work smelling like he made out with an ashtray and then wants a kiss (He does come home and immediately brush his teeth and change his clothes because he knows I find the smell repugnant, and vapes the whole time he's home. Just can't give up smoking at work.)

What made me realize how nasty the cigarettes were was vaping with one hand and smoking with the other after supper. I did that on purpose at another vaper's suggestion to compare the two. One tasted nasty and the other tasted good. I was getting my nicotine from both. After doing that for a week I never bought another pack!

He could probably get away with vaping at work much easier than smoking. You CAN stealth vape in non-smoking areas if you are careful and vape an unoffensive flavor. 24mg juice would be good for a quick nic fix in stealth mode.

I was able to vape in the restroom in my sons room at the hospital, if I was still smoking, I would have been in trouble, because I couldn't leave him unsupervised for more than 10 min and it takes 20 just to get outside to the smoking area!

He is! He had a ABC tumor that destroyed the T-2 vertebrae, he's walking and making a slow recovery, but he's healthy!

That reminded me of a funny story about vaping on my last trip to Alaska. I was in the airport at Seattle, and went to the restroom. Went to the last stall, and started vaping (if you blow the vapor to the bottom corner of the walls...no vapor goes up into the air above you).

Several other ladies walked in, to the section where I was, and I heard one say, "Gee someone has some wonderful smelling perfume or spray in here. Sure smells better than a restroom usually does." I giggled to myself and wanted so badly to say, "Nope. It's just my Tropical Flamingo I'm vaping." But I resisted, since I definitely didn't want anyone to know I was vaping in there.

Since that trip though, I've bought 2 Smoke Buddy, Jrs. Best thing since sliced bread, as far as stealth vaping goes anyway. Now I can vape in any stall (back corner one or not) and if I'm really careful...elsewhere in an airport, too!

What are smoke buddy's? Is it the thing you blow into to get rid of smoke or vapor?

Yep, they were originally invented for cigarette smoke, and the unmentionable stuff, too. But, they work wonders for vapor! Nothing comes out the other end except plain old air! Charcoal filter inside it eliminates anything else.

OMG......I have 2 of those I believe packed away.......Seems like a life time ago. Hey, you did what you had to to keep off those stinkies.....

O my, the memories! I still have working batts put away for whatever.....used to have to pack 3-4 batts in my purse if I were going out. Now, I carry two, just for different flavors, otherwise, just one.

I've seen folks actually wiggle their noses trying to figure out what they're smelling.....I don't say a thing....just continue stealth vaping.

Only if you want any of the features in the newer firmware like smart mode, preheat for wattage mode, simplified interface, etc.

Sorry JC, if i still had it id send it to you, still have a dozen new ego kits (among other old stuff, eroll kits,etc ) that ive been gifting in my office........funny how you get someone started and they still come in smelling like smoke.....
