Does anyone pre-make their coils for rda's/rta's , just to have on hand? If you do, can you tell me how do you keep them from getting out of shape. I would like to make a few using 28g kanthal, but I'm worried they might become misshaped before using.
Any info would be great

I keep a few made up for my little carry pouch for just in case.I just put them in a little hard plastic case,a battery case would work,or even one of those little pill holder thingd, anything that is durable enough to not smash down would keep the coils safe.

Thank you, I think I might have something small to put them in, but I was worried they would get fubr before I could use them, and I hate being wasteful.

Good excuse to get some Altoids.
I use Altoids tins for fishing gear, vape gear, whatever.

I premake my 28g coils and put them in a small plastic bag in a container I keep other supplies in. I haven't had any get out of shape so far. A small mint box, or something like that may work to keep them in too.

BullCityFlavors is my favorite site for DIY flavors.

@FranC, I love Bull city flavors! Especially because they list the cautioned flavors. So if I see a deal somewhere, I check BCF first. Then I know what is safe to buy.

What would be a good number of mods to have?
hahaha that is everyone's question and no one knows for sure. Because I believe in buying large of something I know I will always use (I buy both catnip and basil by the pound) I buy excess. Better to be prepared than not. I have 4-5 in rotation and probably another 10 in stock. I planned to prepare for about 10 years.

Well, I've looked over everything I've bought and I've found my happy spot, stocked up on those products and I know I'm done.
Now the only question I have for my stock pile is how do I maintain it? Do I use my mods every few months or what? I didn't stock pile batteries, because I feel they will be around so I have no need for that.
My tanks do I need to take them completely apart? I'm worried about o rings becoming dry and brittle, and tanks becoming hard to take apart. Any advice would be wonderful.

I think I might have something small to put them in,

Well here I go with Dollar Tree again...this time for different cheap organizer ideas. Their little 7-day pill plastic boxes work great for lots of vaping bits & pieces, spare glass, etc.. They come in several different sizes and variations, too.

Some are called 7-day pill organizer - are 9" long, with 7 sections that are 1 1/4" wide x 1 3/4" long x 7/8" deep. They're a great size for storage of multiple drip tips, adapters, baggies of o-rings or screws or coils, positive posts, smaller replacement glass for 14mm tanks, etc.

Some are rectangular and not very tall - about 5" L x 3" wide and about 3/4" deep. They're for smaller stuff than some of the above, since sections are much smaller. There's room for different coils in each section though for sure!

Some are stacked in a set of little pull out boxes that are each divided inside. Those in particular are great for really little part storage - screws, tiny o-rings, insulators, etc.

Tops of all of them can easily have a small label either attached on each section's lid or on the whole top of it. Stacked set has room for a long label on each little box.

Mods and atomizers will stay in good shape in their original packaging. You can always zip lock them for moisture protection. O-rings will always be easy to obtain if you know the sizes. 18650 and 26650 batteries are used in flashlights, tools, and other common items.

Freeze some nic. PG and VG are common items that shouldn't be banned. Flavorings are partially generic because they are fruit, candy, and bakery flavors. Tobacco flavors are specific, so stock up on them and be aware of shelf life. There's always plain old unflavored Nic/Pg/Vg mix to vape if the tobacco flavors go away, but I don't look for the FDA to ban those anyway unless they contain NET extracts of tobacco (and many of them do).

Just my opinion, but I look for less bans and more taxes from FDA unless the Trump administration agrees that vaping is a good alternative to smoking and doesn't follow the previous moves to block vaping and encourage tobacco for it's tax value.
