Same hear , but must admit , I do like the Taifun GTv3 got enough of them , as well as a few Coppervapes Hussar rta , and reduced deck pin holes ,
+ SRv4 rta along with the nano kit ,mtl central Airflow pin seem to use these a lot more than Kayfuns ,

So, is the Taifun GTv3 a true MTL tank? I like the more open draw on the KF LPV2 better than the tighter draw of most KF V3 atomizers.

Recently, I bought a half dozen of the newer style MTL tanks that were recommended in reviews. I tried them all for one tankful and came right back to the old Ehpro Kayfun Lite Plus V2. I have a SS steel and a black steel in that model.

I probably need to vape all the others for a week before passing judgement on the new ones. Breaking in a tank involves dealing with metallic taste, even after over night soaks in hot water and dish detergent and the ultrasonic cleaner.

between here and there
Update....my bottles from ebay(china vendor) finally came yesterday(ordered on 4/13). Hate the small opening, but I will deal with it. And true to form, they are marked at exactly 50ml where they have indicated on the bottle. Tested it first thing.
And @JCinFLA, those caps are just thrown in the bag with the bottles. Had to dump the whole thing just to get to them.
:)

Yep...just like mine when I got them and posted about it. Was a small PITA.

I do love that they're absolutely accurate with their markings though. That's a definite plus for them!

Northern NJ native , Coastal NC now.
I'm not sure what that makes me. 3 tanks, 3 mods, 30 year stockpile plan. Never really been interested in gear. I just keep getting the same stuff over and over.

Yup , got under 5 mods , most from over two years ago that are as reliable as reliable gets . Not a fan of whats on the market these days , i like solid aluminum with YiHi or DNA chipsets .

I have about 8 different rebuildables do i don't buy toppers anymore. For me at this point , vaping is not very exciting anymore and i do not lose my mind when i can't vape , i avoid stockpiling for that very reason.

I can take it or leave it these days , it accomplished it's job which was to beat the smoking habit.

I am firmly convinced that e cig's are the most effective anti smoking device ever created & are saving countless lives the world over every day .

Another thing I've been procrastinating on is spare fasteners. It's not stockpile stuff because it's generic but I'd like spares anyway the same as orings. It's fairly certain that all the fasteners in the atomizers we buy are stock items used for other things. My situation is simpler because I only use one atomizer, an rda. The parts I could drop and loose are two M2 x 5mm screws for the negative side and an M2.5 knurled nut on the positive pin. Any other sizes wouldn't be useful. I haven't found the nut yet but the screws are common, usually in stainless.
Phillips Pan Head Screws - AccuGroup This link shows a Pan Head style with the same diameter head but the bottom is more flat, may be better for trapping the wiire. Stainless is the only material they offer but it appears my stock screws might be plated brass. Brass may be softer than stainless and may be cause less wear on the threading in the deck. I have a hunch that the center pin is also a stock fastener. Some day I'll disassemble a deck and check that but may be it will never be necessary. The last replacable part that could wear out is the insulator for the center pin. It may not be stock anywhere but can't be sure until I disassemble one to see what's there. It also remains to be seen whether the center pin area is rebuildable.

P.S. I think there is a difference between stockpiling and collecting. Stockpiling can be much less expensive. It's an issue for me because I've had no success interesting my coworkers who vape to mix or stock up on anything. DIY mixing doesn't need to be more than diluting commercial pre mix and stockpiling doesn't need to be more than $50-100 of nic in the freezer and a hand full of devices, a lot better than nothing.

I got vape mail yesterday. A black Serpent mini to add to the silver one I already have.

I would like some more nic. Hoping there will be a Memorial Day sale. Going to wait and see.
Been looking at the Serpent mini. How do you like it?

Whose do you prefer? Reason I ask is 2 weeks ago I got 2L of 100mg/mL from RTS (1 for me and 1 for a friend to split with a newbie to DIY) by having RTS price-match the Heartland Vapes price of $44.99/Liter. RTS nic base is not peppery at all, and is IMO and others, too...excellent quality. Heartland still has theirs for $44.99/L, too, if you'd prefer theirs. I just didn't get mine from Heartland because I'd already had RTS before and knew it was what I liked for sure. But others like Heartland just fine.

I like it a lot, lol. That being said, I did change out the drip tip, didn't like that so much. I have three of them now if that says anything. I like more of a restricted DL type vape? Not really MTL. I haven't found it to be overly leaky but I do close off the afc when I fill it. I think it has good flavor.

It is a slight more open draw , but that also depends on if you mounted you coil lower tighter draw , higher more open , + the airflow too , it can be wide open an give off some nice Flavourful clouds , or you can put in the 3dollar reducer an mount lower for a good MTL ,
I really like them more open , TBH so this is why i mount higher builds , 3mm or 3.5 at a push an tight squeeze ,
But Im also enjoying the SRv4 since the Vapour Giant V4 is out of stock in uk , so got a few SRv4,s comes with 2 x SS tanks cages with glass and a PC tank ,
These come with a bigger gap between posts so can fit 3.5mm and up to 4mm id coil builds and lots of wick if so choose,
The juice channel is small though , but not a problem
You can wick over the top of this channel since has a ledge to place cotton on , I really like them and Taifun GTv3
It too works dam well ,
it can also produce some quite bug Flavourful clouds too , Theres a 9.usd nano kit for Sr v4 , comes with a reduced MTL airflow posative post. Just got my second Hussar RTA (Coppervapes) single coil deck version, has a KFv5 jfc ss tank PC tank Nano tank available , top fill , 3 types of reducer airflow pin available for it.
    Another great tank ,
Hussar and SRv4 in pic , SR has a V2 bellus drip tip
