This really sux. Just glad no one was injured.
Since there was an Asian restaurant, and sandwich shop, and a grocery as well.. there is nothing saying it started in the vape shop. It could easily have began elsewhere and in faulty wiring / faulty equipment in another business, and simply spread to the vape shop.
Once the fire reached the vape shop, there is little doubt the electronics therein may have worsened the fire, in my mind, but not necessarily the cause.
Best to wait for the fire department to determine cause..
I can't believe it's so "dead" in here lately. Just 2 pages shy of 1000! Guess it must mean either everyone's finally finished stocking up or...they've just been busy with other things lately.

I won an OSDIY contest in February, and got a GC I haven't spent yet. Trying to hold off until I need several flavorings, so I don't end up spending a bunch of it in S/H with several smaller orders.
Placed another FT order the other day for more of the KFL+ bases, some post screws, and a few more chimney bases and bell caps before they're discontinued. Got a new little Aspire K1 tank, 5 boxes of various coils, and a bunch of dirt cheap things from DFWVapor coming (to use up a credit with them), and got some coils from LiteCigUSA, mostly for a friend. Other than those things...not buying much of anything now.

Just bought a bunch of 30Q's and a few VTC5A cells at RTD Vapor with their 15% off for Memorial weekend deal.
Had to get those to fuel a bunch of project/backup/giveaway "dated" stuff that I've picked up on clearance here and there. $13 D3's, $10 iStick TC 200W's, $17 Cuboid 200W's, all from Health Cabin (actually cheaper with they way they do/were doing their point system for signing up, plus 10% off for first orders, plus 20% off for their 8 year anniversary sale) and $15 eVic-VTC Mini's from Efun.top. Except for the D3s, all the others will take Arctic Fox firmware, so even thought they're older, they should keep me going for a while if the newer stuff becomes hard to get. I got a Coppervape BF and Pico Squeeze not too long ago and I'm enjoying them, so I might end up taking them apart and tinkering with them to see if I can make them squonk or drop the boards into other boxes to make some cheap regulated squonkers. At this point there only seem to be high-end DNA board type regulated bottom feeders, or cheap mechs, with not much inbetween. I am still hoping for a clearance sale somewhere on the VT Inbox or Therion BF now that the DNA75C with color screen has been released. Yes, I'm a cheap ........
I'm relatively new to DIY juice but have a bit of nic in the freezer to keep going for a while. I'm only vaping 1mg juice at about 15-20ml/day, so a little 100mg base goes a long way. I only keep a 15ml dropper bottle thawed and it lasts me a long time. I don't have a lot of depth in the way of flavors since I'm trying a bunch of new stuff, so I'm just ordering small 10-13ml bottles at a time and if I find something I like I'll order more. I'm fine vaping unflavored, and even vaped straight VG for a while when I weened myself off nicotine altogether (although that didn't stick), but I don't see flavors going away since a lot of them are used in food. Maybe the variety will diminish if the industry goes in the tank.
I have a bunch of attys and ancillary stuff in a few other shopping carts/wish lists waiting for sales to pop up, but nothing I really need*.
* until I decide that I do need it.

real flavors has 3 free flavors (just pay shipping) and 20% off the rest of their flavors this weekend. I am still not buying anything lately (def don't need anything from RF, though there are a few flavors I 'want') but I do need a few things from BCF so might do that this weekend, then next month I might start buying a mod and topper or tow a month for a while from my to-buy/want lists.

I have already figured out what "flashlights" I am bringing to DR. I have a couple of Fasttech 510 flashlight heads that will go on an old Kanger KBox and iStick for my wife and cheap clone mechs for me.
EJuice and cheap tanks (old Nautilus Minis and Subtank Minis) mixed in with my wife's toiletries should take care of the rest.
I have honestly no real worries as it seems that almost all confiscation issues are from carryon and/or at security - not from checked baggage. I ALWAYS put the mod I am using in a ziplock bag and right into my checked baggage (batteries only in my carryon) before going to security. Many flights and zero issues.
For anyone in the "you can never have too much nic" Heartland is offering 25% off this weekend with memorial2017. Brings their standard $44.99 a liter to $34. Hard to beat a liter of 100 mg nic at that price. I use their nic, and will say it's a good nic. I don't vape unflavored, so I can't vouch for it in that setting. They also have lots of flavorings as well, and they 25% off as well. Shipping isn't terrible, about $8 for UPS ground for a liter of nic.
