Yeah that's fair enough. I would usually think that way but the guy is cool. I think he just wants to 'help' me out by buying juice from me though. Good idea guys. I'll wait till next week, see how he's getting on and if he's enjoying them I'm gonna send him your way so you can help him like I have been helped. Cheers

Just remember, you sell him a bottle of mixed nic, and you're a manufacturer. But don't worry. With only about 5,000 hours of filling out paperwork and a few hundred thousand dollars to prove it really is just nic in some PG and VG, you'll be fine. And I'm sure the guy will appreciate all the effort you went through just to lend a hand.:toast:

I mix for myself and a couple/three friends and family members regularly, and will continue to. The flavoring and the bottles to put it in cost more than the nic. That's just cost....not availability. The ratios could (probably will)change after the government gets through with what they're going to do with the nic.

I'm a little concerned about humidity because I have 2 reef aquariums downstairs near where all my gear is and because I have to mix saltwater in 5 gallon buckets with loose covers indoors. My dilemma is that so far I have left 9 new provaries completely unwrapped because I am hoping the original wrapper will keep them dry better than no wrapper. The problem with this of course is that I have not tested the units to make sure that they work. It would not be good to open the first one in a few years and find that it had problems from the factory and I never knew.

Should I open and verify them all? I do have a pelican case that I could put them in after opening them but I sometimes use that for camera gear while kayaking. It has o-rings and is completely water tight. Somehow ziplock bags doesn't sound like a good idea. I could put desiccant in with them in a ziplock I guess. I dunno.
You're overthinking it. ProVaris can take a licking. They dont need to be wrapped & stored in ziplock bags. Test them, make sure they work & if you're not going to use them, put them away somewhere.

Well get them tested. I run every new device for at least a week as a backup before it can go in the stash.
I run every new item until I decide to use something else. I dont have a vapocalypse stash. I see no point in storing like that. I wanna have fun with all my stuff now!!!!

Hey @ScandaLeX if I know enough in 20 years and this forum is still about, what do you do to get guru on/in your avi?

A vaping guru... Those things are what dreams are made of.

Thanks

@bnrkwest - Are these the coils that your SmokTech Vivi Nova tanks take? It says they're for those, not the Vision Vivi Nova tanks. They're 10 cents each!

Vivi Nova replacement heads - Clearance
Hmm not sure, mine is not a Vision Vivi nova. Did smoketech call theirs Vivi novas? I need to find what mine is LOL they worked with a full tank, so I kept it full :)

Smoktech and others adopted the name from the original Vision model. The easiest way to tell the difference is the heads - Vision models have a slot in the bottom pin and a silicone cap on top which is concave, while most all others have a metal pip sticking up through the silicone and no slot. They're not interchangeable. Hope those bargain ones work for you!

I put dry packs in all my provari boxes and my 2012 was stored in a plastic Baggie for years! After I cleaned up it worked fine :)

So far so good. Unscrew the coil and check that the positive pin isn't slotted and you are likely good to go. All the nova styles of heads have 510 threading as far as I recall, and although they can thread into each others' bases, wont work. Maybe buying a few will help you find out?
