I find that cartos are comparable to the 510 attys, if you ever used those. Some are DOA, some don't work right, others are great and last me for over 2 weeks. No QC with those things. I like the flavor in a carto tank above all else including gennies etc. As for rinsing them, I do that with all of mine. Dry them a few days and then usually get another few days out of them.
I had some of the black ones develop pitting. A while back I was going to PIF some leftovers i had and when I pulled them out some of the ones that had lost their protective covering had developed the pits on the top edge. For me pitting is the same as rust - just another variation of it. I cannot be sure they were Authentic Boge, but that is what they were sold as to me by the vendor...
I would get a couple weeks out of mine, you have to refill the tank as you use up juice, but carto lasts longer in a tank. I did find this carto tank, they have it in pyrex too- UD - Youde AGR Cartomizer Tank
What I liked about is a top fill screw so wanted to have it for my Golden years for easy

How to fill juice in the IBTanked, just push the carto down and use a fill tool? Since I can't find my pyrex tank I picked up a couple of them.
Well I am now done for my golden years supplies LOL!

Do you have to use a Boge carto with this?
I think any XL carto will work, but have not tried them before so got the XL boges to go with it, the ones that are punched/slotted.
I thought this one took regular cartos, didn't realize it took x long ones.
All of you probably know this but just in case anyone reading is new to carto tanks, you need the tool or a small drip tip to get the carto on without damaging the caps. I punch the carto, even some of the pre-punched ones, put the fill tool/drip tip on the carto, push up from bottom of tank , fill the tank, then put top cap on over the fill tool thingy.
@bnrkwest - OK, I've got a couple questions. Been a long time since I used cartos of any kind.
I've got a Smok 3mL UDCT, and it has the slotted bottom to use 45mm flanged cartos with, so the flange catches in the slot. However, most cartos I've bought lately don't have a flange. So you're saying that U Youde Tank definitely works like their description says...using all those cartos without a flange??
Also, I specifically asked the owner of AlvineCigs to measure her various Boge cartos (which have no flange) for me before I ordered a bunch. She said the Boge XXL cartos measured 45mm and the XL cartos measured 40mm. So...once I punch the XXL ones I can use them in a tank. But the 40mm ones will just have to be used without a tank, and remain unpunched, right? If I get one of those U Youde tanks you linked to though...the extra tank it comes with is for the short ones that are 35mm that I can punch as well. Correct?

Yes I believe they take both regular and XL size, I liked that because I only have a few flanged cartos. The tanks I have used before you don't need a flanged bottom so wanted something like that. The ones that won't fit you could just use as a carto and not punch them, but I have the plastic tanks that take anything, I have been looking for more, they have the little side screw, they work on any size carto. You could make some from a syringe and that way you can use any size.
I found these, and it is what I am talking about can take any size carto, you can build your own size it looks like and does not need a flanged bottom I don't think. I love the fill screws for easy filling. Tanks

OK, thanks. New question - How is that U Youde tank you linked to "trap" the carto inside and not let it spin around, since it has no flange and no slotted bottom? Does that cap looking thingy that has a 510 connector sticking up from it in the pic...have something that the 510 connector on the carto screws into...but we can't see it?

Not sure but this info I just posted about the AGR might help explain it, I never used this tank before so all new to me too
That I don't know. It looks like the plastic one got rave reviews but one bad review on the pyrex one. But not sure how it actually locks the bottom.
