I know a few that are going out of business because of this mess. Are they going to try and hang in there until forced to close?

And how about the ones that will have to pay a big tax on current inventory just to sell it at even bigger losses in the future if this all goes sour...

I hope they manage to reinvent themselves and continue to produce quality products but labeled as jewelry ;)

Hole through the middle...new shape of bead.....

    Could work
We've discussed jewelry too :D

Doug used to make little tiny bowls about the size of a penny ... don't know how much income that brought tho' They're just in a fix no matter how you look at it :(

many,,,, many many years ago i paid quite a bit for just a few beads..........they could even call their beads the 'mis shapes' or whatever.....or not.. to survive you must adapt. i am sure they know that. the arts/craft community is where they need to hide out..... fairy garden chimneys.. ... dabs of color,, beads/jewelry,, heck they could even aim for 'fishing line weights'.. it doesnt matter.. they need to create a pinterest account for all of 'those' interests to help establish their new 'customer'.--for the 'govt's eyes'

its no dif than some of us hitting up Sally's for rayon,,, and the hair dressers are looking at us kind of funny :)

If you are looking for a freezer most of the big boys have them that will hit -20F. But they are not small, and depending on your income they may not be cheap.

This one goes down to -15F. You want to try and hit the sweet spot for options and price, but what you're looking for is -20F.
Good Lord!!! I do not need an $800 freezer unless I'm trying to secure a body in it.

heaven forbid,, you get robbed or worse a fire. you pay your insurance for protection of your stuff.

insurance co's dont like to 'pay'.. you may need 'before & after' pics for a fire/storm. before pics and receipts for a theft.

Yea, I should have edited that. I posted it by mistake. I thought we needed -20F baked in to whatever freezer we bought and I could not find any so I posted one with -15F attributes.

It was corrected a minute later in the thread by someone saying the recommended temp was not -20F, but -20C, as in Celsius.

    My bad.

I got this freezer for my nic. It was $138 at the time. Seems to be adequate for the job with a little room left over for actual food. It does take up a bit of space. I put it next to my washing machine and use it to fold clothes on so it's dual purpose at least.

    That's a dandy, Saippenu!

In fact, it looks very much like my 28-year-old one. Mine was manufactured in the Land of the Yugo Automobile (Serbia), but it's just kept freezing along with no repairs or problems.

I do suggest you get a cheapie freezer thermometer. They're $6-$8 on amazon. Inexpensive verification of your freezer's temperature setting.

I just Tequila Sunrise :) It's gorgeous ! I gave a custom order in too, hope they have time to make it.
I had a Tequila Sunrise once upon a time, those are lovely.

And don't worry, I'm sure they will get your custom done in good time.
