Somewhere out there
I normally don't carry a balance on my 2 cards but decided to make an exception in this case. 10 - 20 per month per card for a few months is worth the piece of mind knowing I can make due for a few (or more) years.
Me too, I never carry a balance but stocking up for me is just buying ahead of time and a few CC fees for that peace of mind is worth it for me. Everyone has to decide where their priority is, spend bundles on cigs eventually or spend now and save in the long run. A no brainer for me, I can cut back on something else for a couple months to make up for it. A few months of a carried balance no biggy.

We've all got our ups and downs. I'm carrying a large credit card balance after 4 layoffs and unemployment stretches in 8 years since '08, then losing my dog and chucking vet bills at them, and owe on my car (0% loan, win)... but hey, I'm a good 0% interest hopper, I was renting when many others lost their homes, I'm still single and don't have much to pay for, and I'm about to take a siesta at Mom's after 12 years of living across the coast to get some specialized treatment for Lyme Disease and hopefully get that off my back so I can go back to working full time. Oh and I'm about to sell my car and have a yard sale before I leave and all that plus not having expenses puts me right back in paying off debt in rapid mode. None of these choices have anything to do with deeming, an extra $400 in the pile of debt I already had does but so what.

Point being... everyone stop worrying. No one's losing their house over this. Back to stocking, link me sales!

*edit* Did I mention my boss is letting me work part time from 3k miles away to do this? Yeah, he's rad.
God bless you! You've been through the wringer and still have a positive attitude!! :nun:
I do so hope you get the rest you need to heal.

No they didn't notify me. This is what I see, I thought that Origin Post is Preparing Shipment meant it was still in China but after Googling it my understanding is that this means that it has reached US customs. I don't know that for sure ..... but that seems to be where it is. Once US customs has passed it to USPS supposedly the status will change.
I placed the order on July 17th and this just feels like it's taking forever.

I have a fassteck order that has shown this exact status since July 10. I wonder now if I'll ever see the order, luckily it's just some bell caps for Subtank minis that I wanted to try out, no biggie, but it sure doesn't feel right if they are jumping the gun on inspecting incoming goods before the actual deeming date. To be honest I really don't know what's going on with the shipment, but I've never seen a parcel sit that long without movement...

According to the reading I was doing about customs they are suppose to make a decision within a fifteen day period. And it says they will contact you if they need to. Let me find it again to be sure. brb

Maybe you should initiate a lost package claim? It says on this link they won't contact you, but I know I read it somewhere that they would. Any way here is this one. Hope it helps.

I got one from FT yesterday and have 2 more en route. I would contact them and ask, couldn't hurt. OTOH, my GB order is ever so slow.

I have been fortunate to pay my balance each month, usually and I have made a few thousands dollars with my cash back cc. Pays for a few vape toys.

Will go nicely with the titanium P3 :) Oh it sounds so light and nice. Definite splurge!

Can you look up the number on USPS? It will be the customs form number.

You know, it just occurred to me that when FT ships they take a picture of your package.
When you login to ft look at your orders and click on the order number. I would take a copy of that pic and include with your communications to customs. You don't have to tell them its FT as the return addr is someones name. My packages lately have been saying electronic gadget. Tell them its a flash light or something? Dunno. But the pic along with the tracking number should be found fairly easy for them, I would think.
    Worth a shot at least.

I hope everyone had fun last minute shopping today! I did and now we wait for vape mail :) :thumb:

I actually bought nothing today. Maybe I'll take a cruise around now that I've got a few drinks in me. Drinking and stocking, what could go wrong?

Might get into looking for Griffin clones on ebay now too. Everyone having a hard time finding stuff at good prices might be time to cave and browse ebay.
Just watch which ones you get. There are some very good quality griffin clones, but 2 i got off ebay said they were 1:1 and they were horrible. The juice and airflow adjustments were so loose they would spin if you looked at it haha.

I pretty much avoid most Clones. There are a few that are decent though. SXK makes some good Clones. I've seen the Griffin 25 for around $25, not worth messing with a Clone for that price. Whereas the Kayfun V5 goes for around $150 and a SXK Clone is $25, now that makes sense.

I've had packages sit unaccounted for in the USPS twilight zone for months,
have been holding stuff in hand that their tracking says is still at Customs in NY,
and several times had packages that USPS tracking says "delivered in or at mailbox"
or "out for delivery" actually show up in my mailbox a week later.

I've also had a couple get lost in space...never to be found.

If your package is small it might be sitting at the bottom of a bin,
dark corner of a truck, or on a top shelf unnoticed. I had one last year
placed on a top shelf that my short mail lady couldn't see!
A neighbor who worked at the same station and is also short
did me the favor of searching for it and only found it after standing up on a chair.

If you had an expected delivery date and it's been 5 days after it
you call USPS Customer Service and file a tracer. They usually find the item in 2 or 3
days. If they don't then you call USPS CONSUMER AFFAIRS (different than Customer {dis}service) and file a complaint.

    Regards,
    Hazy
