Yep. That is what I thought also but these days thieves are bold. Who knows maybe that company is a shell company set up for fraudulent dealings. Nothing seems out of bounds anymore. Most people that are theives don't have a brain anyway, imo. I am really not sure how they expected to get away with something like that?? Oh well, can't fix stupid.
I have several of those cases that I use to store my old passthroughs in. They are a nice case.
Coil building, rewicking kit to leave in my vehicle. Left- Little Magnifying glass, tiny pliers and snips. Right- Small Ice Breakers container with wire inside, folding scissors, coil winding jig, STM goodie bag (one that comes with the STM), cotton and screwdriver.

Oh no. So sorry to hear but glad it was caught. What makes these thieves think that trying to charge such high amounts wouldn't send up red flags to the cc companies? Especially if you live across the country?Mine just got hit yesterday. Sometried to order $5,400 worth of merch (was declined) from BestBuy in Michigan! Now I'm waiting for a new card. Again. Happened year and a half ago too. Odd thing is, on the 27th I was supposed to get an order from ecig, mailperson said it got delivered, but...it wasn't there. 1/2 hour after said delivery time. I'm still working with PO and ecig. Ecig has been great when I called Friday, haven't yet heard back. so I figure I'll wait till tomorrow and call them back. Really sux, cause order had a couple mods, a mech some batteries, new ohm tester, etc. Guess/hope I'll find out soon...
If I travel and plan to use my cc, I call them to alert them that I am traveling so they won't red flag my purchases for gas, hotels, etc. Or if I am planning on a huge purchase, like having a new roof put on(which I had last year) I called and informed them of the amount and the companies' name who was doing the work. Can't be too careful these days.

I first posted about the deal on the cartos at AlvinEcigs on July 13th, which just happened to be the day after I'd found the deal and bought my 18 boxes (14 in SS in XL & XXL + 4 in Black in 35mm). See...I did it that way because I was finally tired of being the LATE Bird! I'd learned by July 11th, to not post about any super deals I'd found...until I'd had a chance to get some ordered. Had been posting them ASAIFT 'cause I was so excited about them. But, I'd always lose out on getting any...between the visible buyers on here & those "lurker" buyers we found out about recently! 
See...I'm out here in the Boonies and still on DIAL-UP!! Yep...I said Dial Up! So I can never read the posts, post something myself, search for items, get to the websites, find the items & put them in my cart, complete Checkout, etc. as fast as the rest of you! So do I feel bad about finding and buying some items myself before posting the deal here now?? Nope! Well...maybe a little bit.
So, back to the cartos - After I posted the deal...a lot of people posted pretty quickly about buying bunches of them. Then it got quiet again about them. Then not too long ago...someone posted that AlvinEcigs still had some. That's when DebiK got busy and ordered hers below...and the "trickle down" started flowing again.
Kind of funny what effect we've had on helping vendors get rid of old stock, discontinued stuff, overstocks, etc., isn't it? Most likely stuff they've had for a long time...all the while thinking "Crap, I'll never be able to sell this." Then one of us comes along to post about their old crap on the ECF, and BOOM...sold out before too long!
By the way - I was LMAO as I read each post by you ladies about the cartos. Was a great finish to the night for me!

Traveling to Puerto Rico today and returning, after the deeming, on August 15. I'll report back of any issues with travel and airport to let you all know if things change during that time. Sadly it is not technically international so I cannot report on the customs' side of things. First time I've traveled since vaping so it will all be a brand new experience, hopefully without issues.
Hopefully you won't be making a side trip to the DR, and then flying out of POP. Be prepared to have your vape gear confiscated if you are!

Rock out wit'cha sock out! Believe me, you wouldn't be the 1st to talk or post about deals & everything is sold out by the time you're able to make your purchase. Enabling others to spend their money is great but don't leave yourself out of the party!!!

Here is what I don't get, because I'm old enough to remember the days of various mail products we had to be over 18 for, which we routinely got in the mail.
If I scan my ID, and it says I am over 18, and it has my current address on it, which is the same as the billing/shipping address that I'm using, and the name is the same name as is on my credit card, then there shouldn't be any question that I am legally old enough to make such a purchase if my scanned ID says I'm of age. If this is all that is legally needed to purchase products you need to be over 18 to buy, then I don't see why more is needed for vaping.
Did the FDA make some kind of special addition to the deeming regulations that we had to use special shipping? If so,what they are doing is an earmark for the post office, directly from consumers instead of government, as the above in which I listed, has long been acceptable as proof of age, and requires no special shipping service.
If they want more money for the post office, they need to raise rates for everyone, not take it out of the hide of one specific group unnecessary.

I believe it's a state issue. for example TX kicked in a while ago of requiring an adult signature on delivery. There is nothing federal to require it, other than age verification at the time of purchase, not on delivery.
I'd fight that if I was in Texas. More should never be needed from only one specific group unnecessarily.

For all those getting their credit card information stolen. They make reloadable cards for using for your online shopping.. what you do is to put whatever amount you want to spend on the card, then you go and spend that money. This way, even if someone gets your CC info, they never have access to unlimited funds, because when that money is spent, it's simply spent and the card won't keep racking up a bill. I always load the card with the estimated amount I'm wanting to spend, and then spend it fairly well immediately and have never had any problems.
