Or I can just order some heads for target practice instead. lol

LOL you can have mine for free ;)

Well I'm still holding out some hope for some reversals once some of these lawsuits go into action :)

Regardless, they won't be getting any tobacco funds from any of us :thumb:

You got that right! They won't get another penny from me.

I'm wondering now if juice was ordered and sent through the Post Office would it still be delivered? I thought I read somewhere that they are not allowed to deliver tobacco and since juice will be deemed a tobacco product tomorrow how will that work?
I don't know but that's one of the reasons I stocked pre-8/8/16
I DIY but I don't trust that FDA won't coerce USPS or others.
Nicotine? Flavorings? What's off limits to an unregulated regulator?
FDA stated in that 499 page turd they dropped that they will change regs ITF too.

You can still seal it with the Food Saver, and it will be air-tight. Just put the bag in there only far enough for the heating element to seal it, but not far enough to reach the vacuum chamber. You can manually mash out as much air as you want to before you hit the button to seal it. I seal a number of bags that way, like chips, bags of pasta, marshmallows, etc.

I like it! I like it!

Since I've already edited my Food Saver post 3 times, I thought I'd just do another post. lol

Maybe there is a reason Provape stated not to seal them in the Food Saver; maybe the circuitry wouldn't do well without a certain amount of air circulation now and then. I don't know. I'm not sealing mine.

I won't miss getting "new" stuff. Being an old school type of person, what I have works for me.
I got my first multi-18650 mod & my first dual coil RDA almost exactly a year ago.
I've been enjoying 70-80W with dual coil DTL tanks and my .25Ω coil Crown tanks ever since.
I tried different builds at higher wattage but I quickly return to 70-80.

Old skool vaping 2015 in da house! hahaha

. . . and others.

I specifically asked ProVape about vacuum sealing. They thought it was overkill. Also, I experimented with my Food Saver. The box, stout as it seems, crumples to an alarming degree. Their advice was just to add a silica gel packet to the boxes, then change the packet every so often. I figured I'd go them one better and put the box plus silica gel packet into a quart-sized Zip-Lock freezer bag.
I thought I'd read about it possibly being overkill.

I know, I just don't trust that things will be available/affordable. That was my motivation. :)

I actually thought it was an awesome idea, especially for those in coastal, humid areas.
My only thought was the pressure on the internals. :)

Ok just read again and it also covers smokeless tobacco, so now I'm confused.

Our Ecigs are not covered under the PACT Act now. Only if congress decides to amend the Pact Act in the future.

Smokeless Tobacco is an entirely different category regulated by the FDA and covered under the PACT Act than our Electronic cigarettes are. Smokeless tobacco has been covered under the Tobacco Act since 2009 and the PACT act since 2010.

IF our Electronic cigarettes could have been considered smokeless tobacco our ecigs would have been under the deeming regulations and PACT Act since 2009/2010. Thank goodness they are entirely different categories. :)

When I am vacuum sealing some things, I don't want the FS to pull it too tightly. (Dehydrated potatoes- sharp) I hit the vacuum seal buttton and when it gets to where I want it, you hit the button again. It stops vacuuming and seals.
You don't have to let it go till it crushes the boxes. Just pull most of the air out. :)

Mine is a much older model and it doesn't have that feature. I sometimes pull most of the air out, then back the bag out a bit to seal it. If I were to hit the button again with the bag in the vacuum chamber, it would continue to pull air out. Some Food Savers have a seal only function now, but mine doesn't.

The age verification thing is one more step but not too bad. Just ordered liquid to redeem my points and it was a slap in the face that regs are imminent. I will diy but wanted to get one of my fav juices and use the points.

Hey guys. I just wanted to add my sincere thanks to everyone in this thread.

You all helped me become better informed about what is going on, helped me pick out the things I needed to pick out and gave me some great knowledge about things I didn't know in general.

I feel as if I have made some wonderful friends and acquaintances here.. and I guess I'll see some of you in upcoming coil building and diy threads!

I am using the food packet things inside ziplock bags. I have a ton of those, guess they absorb oxygen to preserve food. Hope those are ok, I have mods, including vari's that are 6 years old and the only ones that didn't fare well was an xhaler that I left with atty on and juice dripped into the button.

I know, felt stupid at my age. Like being carded in a bar when you have silver hair and are like 60 years old.

Just had a thought...... can I use rice instead of the silicone packets? I still haven't gotten any packets and I have a ton of rice ;)

To go a step farther, make my own packets of rice with string and coffee filter?
    I don't see why not!
