Oh gosh, you're welcome.Thank you for posting those links!!! My plan was to do the same but then I got busy & forgot.
Every time I see a post regarding wicking I'm like my grandson........seriously??!! (That's his word for anything I say out my mouth)
What also bugs me is that while all things vaping are being turned over by vapers with a fine tooth comb, that doesn't stop anyone from buying out of China or parts unknown because the prices are cheaper.
We've no clue what questionable standards are being used in China or anywhere else yet if someone thought they could get that big box of rayon from Fasttech they'd do it in a heartbeat!
Thank you! It is sadFour added to the list![]()
My replies to the whole rayon thing is just my observant opinion of what I see across many threads & forums.I thought I tried to make clear I wasn't saying Rayon is bad.
I tried to point out I wasn't trying to argue or pursuade.
I hope I didn't end friendship from ya'll just stating my opinion about using it, other facts are true btw.
I use the forums to hear what others like also, even though it might not be what I like.
I don't bash like others do.
I even used it and quite frankly enjoyed the vape I got off it.
I just gave 2 cents because I saw a thread saying it was so much better for you than cotton.
And yeah, def better than cigs obviously. We're not talking about cigs, we were talking about Rayon and wicking. @Just Me I hope you understand.![]()
I'm not going to stop talking about it! But as adults I sincerely hope no one is taking replies as a personal affront to them.Oh, wow, I guess I'd better stop talking! My comments about rayon were just about my experience entirely, nothing to do with you at all. Sorry if it came out that way.![]()
For as long as I've had mine, I think I need to do that yarn a favor & make a scarf or sumfin'!I still have and use some Peaches & Cream organic cotton yarn![]()
Ohhhh I couldn't sit thru that vid again.Oh gosh, you're welcome.
Check out Phil's video for sure! Some of it kind of drags and is a little boring, but it was eye opening for me to see the comparisons!!
For me it wasn't sound but taste. I can tell I was about to get that dry hit cause I'd taste cotton instead of juice flavor.Over time, I've learned to know by the sound made by the coil when it' time to drip some more juice. As it gets towards the dry side, the crackling song is a dead giveaway. It's different from atomizer to atomizer, but the sound does change as the wick gets less saturated, in my experience.
LMBO,Ohhhh I couldn't sit thru that vid again.![]()
I rewicked my wife's and two of my friends tanks with Rayon this week and didn't tell them. All 3 of them prefer their Cotton Bacon. Not one of them even mentioned that the wicking material was different or "off". I think people that "hate" rayon or cotton or whatever are nutty.I alternate. I use rayon when I'm doing a quick change but when I have time to sit down & cleanup & rewick I may use KGD or ReadyXWick.....just depends on what's going on with me at the time.

I like rayon as it doesn't swell. I can stuff as much into a coil as I want and it always turns out perfectly. Plus, if I don't open a hair salon in the near future, I have a 100 year supply for $12.
I'd been following all the wicking threads back when everybody & their mama was suggesting something new to wick with every other day.LMBO,
I know, but didn't you think it was cool to see how the comparisons really played out??

Same here, but the reverse. My problem with rayon is I already have probably 10 years of cotton on hand, so if I wait to buy Sally's for another decade, it will be one less item I need to have in storage.![]()
I was just checking a juice site (BloVape) someone mentioned & when I clicked one of the flavors I saw this.
Is this what the FDA also wants on the labels?
His tests on the various wicking materials convinced me. Nothing but rayon, for so long as I vape. When I watched PBs' vid he covered so much stuff that at one point I dozed off & when I awoke he was still talking.
I give credit where credit is due.......he definitely covers all the bases!
I'm hoping that before too long that vendors will add who they are using for age verification to the bottom of their website so you can decide right away whether or not you want to continue.
Just for that reason I doubt they would want to do that...
Love how you said that!this is a tobacco product even though it's never been near tobacco, visited tobacco, or knows tobacco's cell number, but it's still tobacco too",
I'm gonna be PO'd if I go thru the motions and then have to back out. Oh well, my fairly long list of vendors I order from will be shortened, and maybe new ones added.
