Are you done stocking up?

It's interesting to me how often that seems to happen; people find something that works for them and just keep using the same setup [years pass] and then they eventually switch up when none of their old gear is available anymore. I mostly went through cycles lasting about 6 months, where I loaded up on what I liked, and then moved on to the next latest/greatest/mo' bettah bestest thing that's ever existed.

The last 2 years have been a bit different. I don't personally seem to get much of anything out of 60w+ it's just... really hot vapor and not very pleasant to me. I'm still idled out @ 7.5-12watts most of the time. Works for me.

Everyone should just use what they want based on how they vape. People trying to tell you to vape at 10W or 100W can only describe their experience. Nothing more.

I don't knock anyone using 20W or less. Wouldn't make sense to do so. What do I know of using 5W? 15W? I started vaping at 25W and moved up from there.

In the same way, it does not make sense for someone who uses less than 20W to knock anyone vaping at 100W+. I feel like I'm able to obtain the right amount of nicotine. Have great lungs given fact I've been vaping for 1 year come September. I inhale like a beast. There is nothing hot about my vape. I'm at 155W right now, and vape btw 125W and 170W depending on the gear that I am using. Now if I vape on a tank with very little airflow, sure, I'm going to vape at 55W.

We are on the same team people.

I know there's an online age verification thread I could post this in
but I like this thread better...:pervy:
form Vapejoose:

Online Age Verification Does Not Work
As of August 8, 2016 the FDA’s Deeming Regulations went into effect stating that for every transaction containing “Tobacco Products” the vendor must verify the customer is over 18 years old. In face-to-face transactions this is simple by showing your government issued photo id. However online it becomes much more difficult, and the technology doesn’t quite seem to be there to fully support proper age verification techniques.

BlueCheck does not offer any support options for vendors or consumers other than a ticket system which does not appear to get checked. That is why I’m writing this blog post to point out the flaws in their system and explain why we are removing BlueCheck from Vapejoose.

After 72 hours of running BlueCheck age verification plugin here is what we’ve found:
The BlueCheck plugin is easily bypassed by closing the plugin, allowing customers to checkout without providing age verification. This essentially makes the entire service worthless.

    • Customers over the age of 27 are still being prompted for photo identification.
    • International customers are occasionally being prompted for photo identification.
    • Verification time is suppose to be 20 seconds, however some customers have reported having to wait up to 36 hours for SMS verification code.
    • There is no way to complete age verification without a mobile telephone, which many customers do not have.
    • For many customers there are several assorted errors that prevent checkout, even after successfully completing the age verification process.
After researching many age verification options, and researching the ins-and-outs of the deeming regulations we’ve found a major flaw in the other age verification options available. The next largest age verification provider available only has a 60% match rate for age verification data and according to the PACT act (the same act that requires online retailers to use a third party age verification system) we are not allowed to manage the failed transactions. BlueCheck is the only service we’ve discovered so far that manually validates failed transactions, meaning with other popular age verification services 40% of customers would have to be turned away with no option of verifying their age.

Until a better option is available to online retailers that actually works more than 30-40% of the time, provides timely support to both vendors and consumers, and manually validates failed verifications, Vapejoose will not be using third party age verification software. If you’ve already gone through the age verification process, thank you, if you’ve had difficulty checking out over the last few days please try again today.

{all dot coms removed from above just in case vapejoose isn't approved by ECF, I don't feel like checking}

Whether you like the other thread or not, this would be better posted in the an online age verification thread I believe.

Many beginners want something that replicates the tactile and kinesthetics of smoking a cig. Ergo, ego. I think that is needed in the market.

That's the habit side of smoking kicking in - not the being hooked on smokes...

between here and there
Open systems are that which you control.....rebuilding, DIY etc etc.
Closed systems are one time use pods...unless you know how to hack them to add your own juice.
Yes....?? I am confused cause I thought that is what I said. Did I say something wrong?

Then again, now that I think about it, it's because I found this place that I bought so much stuff.:grr::lol::lol:

Naw, you would of bought it without this thread - I found this thread and spent minimal on stocking up, but each person has to do what makes them comfortable and that comfort level is different for each person...

Sure, agreed. Just making an observation with regards to my own habits. Whatever works to keep you off cigs (or just happy if you've never even used smokes) is the right setup :)

It's free?? I may try it if it's free :) LOL
Buy one, get one free. 40.00 for two instead of one. I finally understand how they work so I am not interested. The 'pod' would contain the atty/carto/coil thing so even if you hacked it and refilled it, I don't think it would last long until you had to buy another pod.

For anyone looking a Provari Raspberry P3 not a BLEM is only $100 :) Too bad I don't need more, love the color :) LOL! P3 Raspberry
Of course they have my fade, now that I already bought the Tiffany. I am doomed to never be able to get that one. If it had dropped to 100. instead of the raspberry, then maybe. It is the danged state tax that puts it over the top for me.

Well, if they came with a 30ml capacity and you could at least hack it a few times it might work...

I recently bought two more kayfun clones. I so want to like those things but no, I don't. I am stuck with them since can't list clones on classies. At any rate, I did find an rba that I like, the Kraken. It is way prettier, too.

Oh, I don't mean this thread. I mean ECF in general. I've been buying too much stuff for about 6 years now. However, the happy side effect of that was I've been stocked up for a long time. This thread just gave me some gravy for those dehydrated potatoes I've got stashed in the corner.:pervy:

And I agree buuuuut why did it take the deeming regs to aggressively begin marketing to the never vaper?
It's like our right to vape only includes the closed system & that is what I take issue with.
I think they are just adapting to the future of their US market. :( They'll still make all the advanced hardware, it just won't be sold here (legally).
I think (just my opinion of course) the closed systems are needed to have a way to consistently control the market, and utilize simple taxation.

But it's definitely like the writing is on the was as to what's to come if they get their way.

Also, just curious...the DAY the deeming regs were announced, did anyone else CONVENIENTLY get a card in the mail from M'boro for the Mark10 for a free sample?? And, how is it that they can do "free" samples?
(DH still smokes, and we still get coupons and such from M'boro.

I went from 2.5 PADs down to about 10 cigs a day on blu back in 2009. Refilling @ 36mg/ml on their incredibly awful hardware. I quit about 6 months later with Super T and GG's. "this one carto is like a pack of cigarettes!" sure it is, just keep telling yourself that... but load it up with high enough nic and it'll work, just like the current crop of junk like Vuze, etc, which I believe are 48mg/ml.

Blue aquarium foam & straw mod FTW!
That's amazing that you were able to do that!! Good for you!! (seriously):banana:
You must have been determined, like I was. :)

What is it you don't like about them? I have a couple but they are still in the box for sometime further down the road. So any info you would share would be appreciated.

There are other places/classifieds where you could sell them I am sure if it is against the rules on this board.

I have authentic KF's, so I can't speak to the differences, between authentic or clone, just the general design of the device...don't EVEN want to get that back and forth started over clone vs. authentic.:facepalm:
But, I didn't like mine at first either, there was definitely a learning curve for me with them, but I really like them now.
Like you, I had to get out of my comfort zones, I did, but kind of kicking and screaming. :(
If you have played around with them, and have really given it a good shot, then :( I'm sorry.
We all do like different things, some like them, and some don't.
I'm still learning with mine, but it's definitely getting better (good).
If you need any help, don't hesitate to go hit them up on the KF threads, they're AWESOME to help anyone. :)

Kayfun lite. Absolute favourite vape. Bad points - filling, access to deck. Kayfun 4 - my imo, not good. Kayfun mini and the 5, very good also with the reducer on 5.

The lite+ is sooo good. Each to his own though
Im really enjoying my mechs atm. It's nice to not have to stress the battery so much with a 1.2-3.
My battery lasts sooo long it's ridiculous. I used to go through 7 18650s a day. Now 1, will do me. I love mtl vaping.

I'm not anti clone by any means but my kfun clones were so wack. When I got authentics. My best purchase ever possibly inc. non vape gear.

I got three EHpro KFL+ clones too, but consider them as last resort toppers. I like lighter setups, and did get some plastic "M" tanks, but if it wasn't for a great deal and the chance of them disappearing, I likely wouldn't have done it. I will not put myself in the position of wanting something in the future that I could have gotten easily and inexpensively. Someday I might fire one up!

I got an SXK Kayfun V5 Clone, wanted a Tootie Puffer for when I'm out and about like at a Bus Stop and what not. Don't want to be blowing obnoxious clouds when around a bunch of non Vapers. Anyway I really like it, does the job well. The SXK Clone really is so well made you really can't tell the difference between in and an Authentic.

But yes took a bit to get used to, especially getting the right build for it. I do a 32x2/36 SS Fused Clapton which ohms out to around .8. Nice smooth flavorful vape on my tube mods and does the trick until I get a to a place I can vape without worries.
