Wow, I've got it easy. I vape one flavor- my DIY version of Intellicig's ECOPure, which only requires a bit of ethyl maltol. I'm glad at this point that other flavors didn't appeal to me. I already have enough (gear stock) to try and keep straight.

I'm trying to do a variation on that, too. Are we talking about the old EcoPure "Rich"? I used to like that one back when there was not much choice because it wasn't really tobacco-flavored even though they said it was.

How much Ethyl Maltol do you use? I'm putting just a few drops in my 50/50-ish base. As I remember it, the original was 100% VG.

The only thing I am itching to buy is a really pretty box mod, stone, acrylic or wood, something like that. I just don't want to spend hundreds of dollars to get one.

If anyone knows of a pretty one that is not super expensive, please enable away.

I can't remember who they were, but if I'm remembering right...there were a couple people who said they still like and use the old 510 attys, but were having a hard time finding them now.

Vaporkings.com has the JoyeTech 510 and eGo ones for $.99 each in their Clearance. They also have more "old school" vaping stuff there, too, though some of it is pretty overpriced IMO.

Exactly! I fell in love with it. Sorry, I don't use exact measurements, but really, it's just add EM to taste. A bit more EM for "rich". I have vaped straight VG until this past month. Adding some PG hasn't altered the taste for me.

I purchased the last 9 SR 510 atties they had. All they have left, last I looked, was LR. I would love to find more SRs at that price, but everywhere else sells them for $4-$8 each. :/ I am spoiled by all these clearance sales and just won't pay that anymore.

I didn't even start with tobacco-flavored juices (I had smoked menthols - regular ones just tasted like ASH to me ) However, I've become quite fond of RY4 (Double) - it's caramel/vanilla overrides any "tobacco-y" taste for me. There are a couple of the tobacco flavorings in that TFA flat that just taste like grass/dirt to me, so they've been put aside. I may end up using them when mixing for others, but they won't be in my flavor pallet

Are you talking about TFA RY4 Double? Might have to give that a try as I transition myself into DIY, if I come up with a decent RY4 that's all I need in life. Should I be concerned about getting flavoring because of deeming as a tobacco flavor user? Seen it brought up once or twice but never really gone over.

Just updated my savings spreadsheet, put in the days, went from $4,500 saved to $5,500, put in the items, went from $5,500 to $4,500. This is probably the first time I haven't saved money during any time period since I first began vaping, and all I did was break even for a few months during a massive stockup.

Watching you guys count up your mods/tanks makes me feel so behind, but I'm sticking to my strategy that devices aren't priority right now. If I'm to ever keep up with all this wild life and have any nic left for myself I better just keep ordering the stuff.

Has anyone seen the Good Life Vapor Wonderland juice collection? The descriptions are so cool! Very much aimed at FDA LOL I have only tried one juice they made Samba Sun, they make for NJoy and it is good. Anyway just loved their new Wonderland descriptions

What I would worry about is how serious are they going to make the enforcement in the future - will devices be allowed for sale in the future without potential ramifications... Opinions???

There's an interesting post on the "deeming regs released" thread, page 662, saying enforcement will be limited to finished products. How to interprete that, I dunno.

Will Cole-Bishop pass?

Will the courts slap down the FDA?

What will the states do? Arkansas, Indiana, Utah, will more join them?

My crystal ball has shut down due to an overload of uncertainty.

My husband mentioned my multiple choice growing pile of vaping gear this morning, as we were talking about money in general and I remarked that I don't have my cigarette money next payday somehow (I put aside all the money I would have spent on cigarettes each paycheck, and take my vaping funds out of that and do what I want with what is leftover) but next payday I have not one dime I can spend because somehow, we have spent the entire next check and there is no my cigarette money..

So he pointed to the boxes of vape stuff and said this might have something to do with it, (to which I strongly disagreed.. )

But he just laughed at the growing pile and said he doesn't fault me at all for having it all, as it's good to be prepared and have plenty of spares..

Lol.. But I don't know anyone who is an actual non smoker, so no comments from the non smoker category. My husband smokes cigarettes.

I think they'll be serious about manufacturers and vendor not selling. When it comes to individuals selling a few things then I'd avoid putting it out there in the open for the world to see, but as far as selling a few things to "trusted" people, I don't think they are going to spend too much time looking to bust individuals. After all, they don't expect there to be much of a black market caused by the deeming rule.

But also don't forget that once the majority of the states get done adding ecigs to their tobacco laws and setting their tax rates next year they'll be looking for their "tax" money which puts an additional watch dog on sales by the states.

I think its all gonna matter on how much one is willing to gamble. A gamble that will pay off for most people, while some people will loose.
